        The thermoelectric effect, which converts waste heat into electricity, holds promise as a renewable energy technology. Recently, bismuth telluride (Bi2Te3)-based alloys are being recognized as important materials for practical applications in the temperature range from room temperature to 500 K. However, conventional sintering processes impose limitations on shape-changeable and tailorable Bi2Te3 materials. To overcome these issues, three-dimensional (3D) printing (additive manufacturing) is being adopted. Although some research results have been reported, relatively few studies on 3D printed thermoelectric materials are being carried out. In this study, we utilize extrusion 3D printing to manufacture n-type Bi1.7Sb0.3Te3 (N-BST). The ink is produced without using organic binders, which could negatively influence its thermoelectric properties. Furthermore, we introduce graphene oxide (GO) at the crystal interface to enhance the electrical properties. The formed N-BST composites exhibit significantly improved electrical conductivity and a higher Seebeck coefficient as the GO content increases. Therefore, we propose that the combination of the extrusion 3D printing process (Direct Ink Writing, DIW) and the incorporation of GO into N-BST offers a convenient and effective approach for achieving higher thermoelectric efficiency.

        이 연구는 근무하는 학교가 교사의 전문성을 향상시키는 공간이자 교육에 관해 연구하고 성찰 하는 공간이 되도록 하기 위한 단위학교의 교사공동체의 특성을 조사하였다. 특히 이론적으로 학습을 공동체의 참여양식의 변화로 보는 실행공동체 관점을 취하였고, 단위학교의 교사공동체를 실행공동체로 간주하고 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 근무하는 학교에서 교사들이 전문성을 향상해가고 있는 것으로 보이는 수도권 소재의 한 학교를 사례로 선정하고, 이 학교의 교사공동체를 실행공동체적 관점에서 해석하고 그 특성과 참여의 기체를 조사하였다. 사례 학교 관련 보고서 및 각종 문서를 수집하고 교사를 대상으로 한 심층 면담자료와 함께 귀납적으로 분석하였다. 그 결과 실행공동체의 특성으로는 학교의 교육목표와 핵심비전을 공유하고 있으며, 수업과 교육 활동에 대한 공적-비공식적 논의가 일상화되어 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 동료에 대한 신뢰를 바탕으로 한 호혜적 관계를 형성하고 있고, 교육 활동을 탐구(연구)하고 적용하는 교사연구 학습이 활발하게 일어나며, 교사들이 학교에 대한 주인의식을 가지고 있음을 확인하였다. 마지막으로 클라우드 시스템, 열린회의, 자체연수와 같은 실행이 공유되고 있음을 분석하였다. 또한 실행공동체 참여의 기제는 인적 측면, 환경적 측면, 성과적 측면으로 분석되었다. 인적 측면에서는 교사의 개별적 특성과 리더십이 참여 기제로 분석되었고, 환경적 측면에서는 물리적 환경과 제도적 지원 그리고 정책이 그 기제로 분석되었다. 성과적 측면에서는 교사 개별적인 성과와 학교의 교수활동의 성과가 참여 기제로 분석되었다. 결과를 바탕으로 단위학교의 교사공동체를 교사의 학습이 일어나는 실행공동체가 될 수 있도록 지원하는 방안에 대하여 논하였다.

        The goal of marker-assisted backcrossing is to reduce the number of generations significantly by using genome-based molecular markers. Among other types of molecular markers, SNP (single nucleotide polymorphism) is mostly used in genetic diversity analysis due to its abundance. To develop high-throughput SNP marker for MAB system, we selected 20 Chinese cabbage lines each represent traits as inner leaf color, disease resistance, head type and maturity etc. Then, we sequenced the transcriptomes of 20 lines by using Illumina Hiseq2000. The average transcriptome size was 1.37 Gbase, and the average of short reads mapping rate was about 62.15% (30xcoverage). We identified 13,976 SSR markers and 380,198 SNPs by aligning contigs of 20 Chinese cabbage lines. To develop SNP marker set, we chose 409 SNPs that covers the whole Brassica rapa transcriptome. The filtering criteria were depth, polymorphism, segregation ratio, lack of adjacent SNP and copy number. We positioned the selected SNP markers to the Chinese cabbage linkage map. Clustering dendrogram was produced using SNP marker and three different clusters were generated. The result showed that the genotyping data is partially linked to the phenotyping data. We assume that the developed SNP marker set can be applied in the Chinese cabbage MAB system soon.

        Nesfatin-1 is a recently discovered anorexigenic peptide which is distributed in several brain areas implicated in the feeding and metabolic regulation. Recently, it has been reported that nesfatin-1 is expressed not only in brain, but also in peripheral organs such as digestive organs, adipose tissues, heart, and reproductive organs. Nesfatin-1 is markedly expressed in the pancreas, stomach and duodenum. Eventually, the nesfatin-1 expression in the digestive organs may be regulated by nutritional status, which suggests a regulatory role of peripheral nesfatin-1 in energy homeostasis. Nesfatin-1 is also detected in the adipose tissues of humans and rodents, indicating that nesfatin-1 expression in the fat may regulate food intake independently, rather than relying on leptin. In addition, nesfatin-1 is expressed in the heart as a cardiac peptide. It suggests that nesfatin-1 may regulate cardiac function and encourage clinical potential in the presence of nutrition-dependent physio-pathologic cardiovascular diseases. Currently, only a few studies demonstrate that nesfatin-1 is expressed in the reproductive system. However, it is not clear yet what function of nesfatin-1 is in the reproductive organs. Here, we summarize the expression of nesfatin-1 and its roles in brain and peripheral organs and discuss the possible roles of nesfatin-1 expressed in reproductive organs, including testis, epididymis, ovary, and uterus. We come to the conclusion that nesfatin-1 as a local regulator in male and female reproductive organs may regulate the steroidogenesis in the testis and ovary and the physiological activity in epididymis and uterus.
