        This study focuses on determining the impacts of organizational culture on the accounting information system and the operational performance of small and medium-sized enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City. The paper is organized in five parts: introduction, literature review, research methodology, research results, and conclusion and policy implications. Based on the samples of 353 respondents working in small and mediumsized enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City, the research employs both qualitative and quantitative methods to find the answers for research questions. Group discussion, which yields final observed variables of the factors of organizational culture is used for qualitative method. Statistics, assessment of the reliability of Cronbach's Alpha scale, exploratory factor analysis (EFA), confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM) are used for quantitative procedure. The results show that mission, involvement and inconsistency in organizational culture positively affect the accounting information system of small and medium-sized firms in Vietnam. In addition, mission, involvement, adaptability and consistency in organizational culture are found to have positive impacts on the firm operational performance. Another finding of the study is that the accounting information system has a positive effect on operational performance of small and medium-sized firms in Vietnam.

        The study aims to identify the factors affecting employee loyalty in the case of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in Tra Vinh province, Viet Nam and to find out critical factors affecting the loyalty of employees in SMEs. This is implemented with the method of collecting primary data of 320 employees working at SMEs in 5 districts including: Cau Ngang, Tra Cu, Chau Thanh, Cang Long, Tieu Can) and Tra Vinh City, Viet Nam. Using the multivariate regression method, the researchers have found 6 factors affecting employee loyalty: colleagues, leaders, job characteristics, remuneration policies, organizational culture, and working environment. Particularly, learning opportunities may not be not statistically significant for employees' loyalty towards small and medium-sized enterprises in Tra Vinh province. From the above research results, the authors have proposed implicational piolicies such as: focusing on colleague relationships, improving leadership of business owners, attaching importance to appropriate work arrangement, having appropriate remuneration policies for laborers, building effective organizational culture and working environment to improve employee loyalty at SMEs. From the above policy implications, helping business owners realize the aspirations of workers in small and medium-sized enterprises more closely in the future, in order to sustainably develop the business system in Vietnam.

        The research aims to investigate the determinants of the financial performance of 1343 Vietnamese companies categorized into six different industries listed on the Vietnamese Stock Exchange over a four-year period from 2014 to 2017 using STATA software. Those determinants include firm size, liquidity, solvency, financial leverage, and financial adequacy while the financial performance is evaluated by three different ratios: return on assets (ROA), return on equity (ROE), and return on sales (ROS). The research results from these companies during the given period indicate that: (1) Firm size has a positive impact on both ROA and ROS, especially ROA but it has the opposite effect on ROE, (2) Adequacy ratio impacts positively on ROA and ROS but negatively on ROE, (3) Financial leverage considerably negative influences on ROE and ROS but positively impacts on ROA, (4) Liquidity has a positive effect on both ROA and ROE but a negative one on ROS and (5) Solvency has a positive impact on ROA and ROS but the negative impact on ROE. Furthermore, agriculture accounted for the highest percentage of profitability at the beginning, which was replaced by service for ROA but manufacture for ROE from 2016 to 2017 as opposed to the least in transportation.

        The purposes of the study are threefold: (1) develop key successful factors of blockchain platform for micro-enterprises based on Balanced Scorecard (BSC), (2) find out the correlation between the key successful factors of blockchain platform for micro-enterprises, and (3) understand the perception of micro-enterprise blockchain and the difference between theoretical guidance and practical application. This study combines Interpretative Structural Modeling Method, (ISM) and Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) to analyze the causal relationships and hierarchical structures of the 12 key successful factors of blockchain platform for micro-enterprises and understand the correlation between factors. The 12 key successful factors developed based on the four perspectives of the Balanced Scorecard, and the questionnaire designs based on the concept of DEMATEL, and then analyzed data by DEMATEL and ISM methods to understand the correlation between key factors. The research results show that the key successful factors of blockchain platform for microenterprises include "brand equity", "security and anti-counterfeiting", "sales growth", "transparency and clear", "trust", "consensus mechanism", "traceability", "consistency", "tracking", "innovation management", "international", "organizational adaptation", in which consumer "trust" plays an important role. Micro-enterprises can use blockchain to expand the market, provide customers with better service quality, and bring sales growth to micro-enterprises.

        Purpose - From the advanced path of development and current situation, the development of enterprises plays a tremendous role in promoting national economic growth and raising the overall national strength. Therefore, this paper aims at examining the mutual effect between small & medium enterprises and economic growth. Research design, data, and methodology - In order to address the operating mutual effect between the small & medium enterprises and economic growth more clearly, this paper sets Alibaba Group and Hangzhou as an example. Meanwhile, the annual data from 2000 to 2017 will be employed, and an empirical analysis will be performed under the vector error correction model. Results - The findings display that the total revenue of Alibaba Group has a positive effect on economic growth in city of Hangzhou. However, the Granger Causality test implies that there is only a unidirectional causality between total revenue of Alibaba Group and economic growth in Hangzhou. More specifically, 1% increase in total revenue of Alibaba Group can result in 0.272% in economic growth of Hangzhou in the long run. Conclusions - In summary, for the long run, the local governments should promulgate a series of policies to assist the small & medium enterprises like Alibaba Group to improve the local economic growth as seen in the city of Hangzhou.

        The paper aims to combine balance sheet analysis at the firm level with the International Monetary Fund’s public debt sustainability assessment framework to assess state-owned enterprises’ (SOE) leverage as a contingent liability to the public sector. Based on company data and the interest coverage ratio as a measure of debt at risk, aggregate baseline scenarios are projected to gauge the magnitude of SOE debt as a contingency. SOE’s financial and debt ratios are first bootstrapped to generate firm-level distributions and then averaged into a fan chart of the economy-wide SOE contingent liability. Applied to the People’s Republic of China as an example, the study finds that by the end of 2015 SOE leverage had grown to a substantial liability. However arbitrary the assumptions underlying these projections, it would appear that even if authorities had to mop up as much as 20% of SOE debt at risk gone bad, this would have been manageable at roughly 2.7% of the gross domestic product in 2016 or 5.5% by 2021. This projection framework is fully amenable to alternative assumptions and settings, which makes it a useful analytical tool to monitor contingent liabilities from non-financial corporate debt that have been building in emerging and advanced economies alike.

        Purpose – In this study, we consider and examine relationships between reasons for business switch or liquidation (BSL), and the demographics of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in South Korea. The related five variables are occupations, administrative districts, age of employer, firm age and foundation motivation. In addition, eleven levels in association with reasons for BSL visualize the corresponding demographics by measuring their similarity on the dimensional planes assuming that the association exists between variables under consideration. Research design, data, and methodology - This study is done by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups in 2016 and examines 20,307 small and medium enterprises. For examining the distinct relationships among variables under consideration, both chi-squared test and correspondence analysis as main statistical tools are used. Results - The results show that among levels of reasons for BSL the three levels –weakening profitability, poor sales and economic depression- are main ones for the five demographics variables mentioned above, and we can obtain the detailed associations between attributes of corresponding variables by inspecting the two dimensional plane. Conclusions - This study suggests reasons for BSL are closely associated with the five different demographics variables – Administrative districts, Firm age, Occupations, Age of employer and Foundation motivation-by looking over results.

        The purpose of this study is to explore how small and medium enterprises in India has identified the opportunities and challenges in adopting the Web 3.0 technologies to improve their productivity and efficiency. After an in-depth literature review, researchers framed a semistructured questionnaire with open-ended questions for collecting responses from managers working in 40 Indian SME’s representing five key economic sectors. The collected data was analyzed, and themes were encoded using the NVivo 11 computer-assisted qualitative data analysis software. Content analysis was used to analyze the data collected with the semi-structured interviews. This study identified five key themes and 12 subthemes illustrating the key advantages and challenges as perceived by the managerial leadership of SMEs. The five key themes identified in this study include integration of data and services, the creation of new functionalities, privacy and security, financial and technological challenges, and organizational challenges. The results of this study will benefit the organizational leadership of SMEs in planning and developing their short-term and long-term information systems strategies and will enable SME leaders to make optimal use of their information technology assets, improving the productivity and competitiveness of the firms. Web 3.0 technologies are considered as emerging technologies, so the advantages and challenges of using these technologies for SMEs have not been explored in the context of emerging economies, such as India.

        This research aims to evaluate the current state of technology of enterprises in Vietnam in comparison with several countries in the AEC economic community, thereby to propose several recommendations to Vietnamese enterprises in order able to promote technology innovation activities, create competitiveness with enterprises in the region. Qualitative research methods are used through statistics and comparative descriptions from data collected from various sources: WEF, World Bank, CIEM, General Statistic Office. The study results show that Vietnamese enterprises still have many limitations in technology, originated from their small business scale (capital and labor), the current research capacity is still low, the funding for this activity is not high and the accessibility of the capital is still difficult. According to the Global Competitiveness Index, Vietnam's science and technology indexes are low compared to other AEC-developed countries including the availability of the latest technology; the acquisition of technology at the enterprise level; the capacity of improvement; quality of scientific research organizations..., which shall be a major barrier for Vietnamese enterprises to have to overcome to be able to create the competitiveness when entering the global market. From then on, the authors proposed solutions for two subjects, enterprises and government, to help Vietnamese enterprises to overcome this barrier.

        Purpose – Market orientation is a key factor for business performance in today’s fluctuating conditions. This study investigates whether the employment of innovation can improve the innovative capability and increase the performance by gaining competitive advantages or not. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the effects of market orientation on the performance of small and medium size distributer enterprises (SMDEs) in Iran. Research design, data, and methodology – Customer orientation, Competitor orientation, and Inter-functional coordination have been regarded as market orientation indices to determine the effects of these indices on marketing innovation, gaining competitive advantages, and companies’ performance as well. Data were collected from managers and experts in SMDEs in Iran. The structural equations modeling are used for analysis. Results – The results indicated that marketing innovation has been improved in competitive companies that enjoyed a high level of Inter-functional coordination among the various units. Besides, marketing innovation resulted in gaining competitive advantages regarding cost management, concentration, and differentiation in these companies. In addition, it was observed that SMDEs that obtain competitive advantages are equipped to reap superior performance. Conclusions – With cost management, differentiation and concentration are more likely to enhance the enterprise efficiency and effectiveness than other companies. Additionally, competitiveness, inter-functional coordination, and marketing innovation in SMDEs have a positive impact on marketing innovation.

        Small and micro cultural enterprises make tremendous contributions to the development as well as the growth of China’s cultural industry. Creative talents who is playing a significant role are the sources of the rise, development and prosperity of enterprises. It is useful to develop a series of special strategies to motivate the creative talents on the premise that we analyzed the current situation of small and micro enterprises, the characteristics and demand factors of the creative talents. At present, there exist some problems in the small and micro enterprises about incentive, such as inferfect human resource management, low overall wage level and depressed business environment and so on. In order to solve the above problems, we ought to stick to the principles: combining the material and mental incentives, short-term and long-term incentives as well as individual and team motivation. We can complete the system of incentives by means of human resource outsourcing, create suitable environment for creative talents, enhance cultural and intrinsic incentives and so on intending to improve the incentive level of creative talents in small and micro enterprises.

        현재 기업들은 본연의 가치창출활동과 사회적 공헌을 일체화시킨 공유가치창출이라는 CSV(Creating Shared Value)의 개념을 도입하고 있다. 기업은 일회성이 아닌 지속가능한 CSV를 확산하기 위한 경 영 전략으로써 인간적인 관계를 통해 접근하는 서비스디자인 영역에서 발전시킬 수 있다. 본 연구는 기업이 CSV활동에서 서비스디자인을 도입한 네 가지의 사례를 영국의 디자인카운슬의 더블다이아몬 드 모델 적용단계에 있어서의 발견, 정의, 개발, 전달이라는 네 단계를 집중 분석함으로써 CSV확산과 서비스디자인의 활성화를 위한 전략적 시사점을 제시하고자 하였다. 시사점으로는 첫째, CSV전략을 위한 서비스디자인 적용은 직접적인 수익창출이 아니더라도 지속가능한 기업경영을 위해 효과적이다. 둘째, 기업은 서비스디자인을 추진함에 있어 사회적인 문제점을 정확하게 발견하는 단계가 우선시되 어야 한다. 또한 소비자들이 직간접으로 참여한 만큼 진정성 있는 서비스의 전략수립과 결과를 평가하 고 피드백 할 수 있는 효과적인 방법이 요구된다. 셋째, 서비스디자인 방법론을 도입함에 있어서 CSV 의 핵심적 가치의 유지가 필요하다. 본 연구를 통해서 향후에는 많은 기업들이 CSV를 바탕으로 한 미 래 시장의 경영 전략에 서비스디자인을 적극적으로 적용하여 기업의 비즈니스 기회에 경제적 사회적 이익을 모두 추구할 수 있는 긍정적인 결과가 나오길 바란다.

        It is the first evaluation model that explains the capabilities of natural disasters and crisis matters by subdividing the evaluation model for organizational management of existing public institutions. This paper improves the capabilities associated with climate change in the future weather systems, including the typhoon and cold weather changes, operational systems, and reflux systems, by carrying out the evaluation of the results. This evaluating model which is response capacity to future climate change, supports the method of Analytic Hierarchy Process and Delphi to calculate the weight of the evaluation model. Using the crisis management of the evaluation model or domestic public institutions, it can be utilized to derive the improvement of capabilities and Risks of typhoon and cold weather.

Research design, data, and methodology - The study employs monthly time series data from October 2013 to November 2013, analyzing variables to verify hypotheses. These concern three questions on marketing communication, five on public interest business activities, four on donation & sponsorship, two on donation & sponsorship activities, six on corporate image, four on volunteer service, and five on demographic characteristics. Results - Hypothesis 1, "Ethical management in marketing communication, public interest business, donation & sponsorship, and volunteer service positively affects corporate image," was partially adopted with significant regression of marketing communication, public interest business activity, and donation & sponsorship. Hypothesis 2, "Ethical management such as marketing communication, public interest business, donation & sponsorship, and volunteer service positively affects purchase intention," was partially adopted with significant regression of marketing communication and public interest business. Hypothesis 3, "Corporate image positively affects purchase intention," was adopted at significant regression. Conclusions - Ethical management influenced purchase intention and corporate image.

        enterprises' entry into the Chinese market. By studying Korean companies’ strategy and current situation in the Chinese retail market and analyzing Lotte Mart’s strategy, this study was aimed at identifying comprehensive strategies for Korean companies striving to expand in China’s retail market. Research design, data, and methodology - A case study approach is used, focusing on the three northeastern provinces in China, and examining global firms' entry into the Chinese market. The study employed a direct survey and a literature review. Results - Korean distribution firms' entry into the overseas market is in the inception stage and it should be developed, considering its effects on the national economy and other industries. Conclusion - The cases of E-mart and Lotte Mart, representing Korean distribution firms, showed that they should not rely on scale to succeed in China. Both preliminary analysis and careful strategies are required to ensure success. Considering the high growth potential of the Chinese market, a management strategy that takes account of Chinese people's emotions was needed.

        The related concepts of energy saving are introduced in this article. There are four differences between energy saving trading and carbon emissions trading, which are the consideration, transaction subjects, focused problems and the realizing route. In addition, the accounting confirmation and measurement of enterprises’ energy saving trading are researched. As to the accounting confirmation, the enterprise energy saving can be divided into two parts, which are respectively as the intangible assets and tradable financial assets for parallel processing according to the proportion of R confirmed by the enterprise itself. Moreover, the accounting measurement of enterprises’ energy saving trading can be in accordance with the fair value.

        중국의 물류시장의 확대에 따라 많은 한국 물류기업들이 중국에 진출하고 있으나 글로벌 물류기업과의 경쟁에는 한계를 보이고 있다. 특히 국내의 중소형물류기업들은 중국시장으로의 진출에 많은 애로사항을 겪고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 우리나라 중소형물류기업들의 중국진출 활성화 방안을 과거의 선행연구를 근거로 지각된 요인들과 중국진출 활성화의 필요성과 중요성에 대한 상관관계를 분석하여 활성화 방안으로 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 설문분석을 실시하고, 탐색적 요인분석과 신뢰도분석 및 상관관계 분석을 시행하였다. 연구의 결과, 중국진출을 활성화하기 위한 여러 가지 요인들 중에서 중소물류기업들이 가장 우선해야 할 과제로는 주요 물류거점에 대한 물류인프라의 확보가 선행되어야 하며 동시에 현지의 관계문화에 대한 이해와 활용에 대한 지식이 필요한 것으로 분석되었다.

        9.11 테러이후 최근 물류보안에 대한 범위가 시간적, 공간적으로 급속히 확대되고 있고 물류보안에 대해 국가와 물류기업의 책임이 강화되고 있다. 이러한 측면에서 물류보안에 대한 대응은 이제 단순히 수출입 분야의 보안책임을 넘어 국가의 물류경쟁력을 감안한 공급사슬망 전체를 대상으로 한 포괄적이고 체계적으로 접근해야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 관점에서 현재 국내에 시행되고 있는 글로벌 물류보안제도에 대한 국내 물류기업의 인식 현황을 파악하고 이러한 인식정도가 실제로 자사의 물류경쟁력과 향후 관련분야에 대한 투자의사에 어떠한 영향을 미치고 있는지 실증적으로 조사 분석하였다. 이를 토대로 향후 정부 및 유관기관들의 물류보안 확대를 위한 홍보 및 교육 지원 등과 관련 정책수립 시 효과적인 추진방향을 도출하였다.
