We propose and develop Home Security robot system based on Sensor Network (HSSN) configured by sensor nodes including radio frequency (RF), ultrasonic, temperature, light and sound sensors. Our system can acknowledge security alarm events that are acquired by sensor nodes and relayed in the hop-by-hop transmission way. There are sensor network, Home Security Mobile Robot (HSMR) and Home Server(HS) in this system. In the experimental results of this system, we presented that our system has more enhanced performance of response to emergency context and more speedy and accurate path planning to target position for arriving an alarm zone with obstacle avoidance and acquiring the context-aware information.

This study performed in order to evaluate the effects of pipe materials on corrosion and bacteria regrowth using a laboratory scale batch test. Two varieties of feed water with different microbial conditions were selected: tap water, surface river water (Han River water), and five pipe materials; carbon steel, copper, galvanized iron, stainless steel, and PVC. Carbon steel and galvanized iron pipes showed higher corrosion rates than other materials. In terms of attached bacterial growth, pipes with PVC and stainless steel showed higher bacteria concentration compared to other materials. Pseudomonas vesicularis was the predominant bacteria found on biofilm. The behavior of bacterial growth in the pipes was observed using a scanning electron microscope.

The purpose of this study was to identify the difficulties of subject integration between technology and home economics subject and to present its integration strategies. The review of literature and deliberative method were used to solving the problem of this study. According to the premise and alternative of subject integration in technology & home economics, the results of this study were as follows; First, the starting point of subject integration is to create a new subject name include elementary with secondary education. Second, the type of subject integration should be oriented to recognize the technology and home economics of discipline. Finally, the possible method of subject integration will be contributed integration or functional integration type. That integration method is not discipline structure viewpoint but the viewpoint of experience integration.
