The battle vehicle has six types of indicators attached to the instrument panel in consideration of the special battlefield environment. However, many problems of moisture occurred during the operation of combat vehicles. These moisture phenomena can adversely affect aesthetics and functionality. Moisture is generated on the instrument panel due to the inflow of external moist air, the desorption of the moist air inside the parts, and the fluctuation of the dew point temperature. In this paper, we try to derive the root cause of various moisture generation and provide an improvement measures for moisture control. Therefore, the failure mechanism of the instrument panel may be analyzed and the design may be changed depending on the failure factor. Furthermore, the effect of the design change is verified, and the humidity performance is evaluated.

Endoscopic snare papillectomy (ESP) for ampulla of Vater tumor (AVT) has been performed successfully instead of surgical ampullectomy (SA) because ESP is a less invasive procedure than SA. Hemorrhage, perforation and pancreatitis are relatively common complications of ESP and other rare complications such as cholangitis, liver abscess has been reported. Recently we encountered a case of acute acalculous cholecystitis after ESP for AVT, which was treated successfully with percutaneous cholecystostomy with intravenous antibiotics. We therefore report this case with a brief review of the literature.

법과 질서 교육은 현대사회에서 반드시 필요한 교육이다. 그러나 초등학생들에게는 접근하기 어려운 주제로서, 학습 효율을 높이기 쉽지 않다. 본 연구에서는 게임을 교육 콘텐츠로 접목하 는 효율적 학습 방식으로 게임의 순기능을 활용하는 방식을 연구하였다. 아이들은 게임을 통해 서 다양한 법질서 상황을 만나면서 다양한 생각과 판단을 하도록 게임을 설계하였다. 법과 질 서 교육에 아이의 가장 훌륭한 멘토인 부모가 참석하여 적절한 역할 밸런스를 담당하도록 게임 콘텐츠를 설계하였다. 프로토타입으로 제작한 게임 체험과 설문을 통해서 부모와 아이가 함께 하는 교육 게임의 효율성을 테스트하였다. 본 연구를 통해 향후에도 아이들의 교육에 게임이라 는 콘텐츠가 좋은 학습 도구가 될 수 있다는 점을 보이는데 기여하고자 한다.

최근 의료영상기술에서 유방암 엑스선 진단기술의 주요 이슈는 정확한 조기암 진단과 환자의 피폭선량의 감소에 있다. 엑스선 영상대비도를 높이고 피폭선량을 줄이는 기술 중 하나로써 다층박막거울을 이용한 단색 엑스선을 획득하는 연구가 선행되어 왔다. 그러나 기존의 Uniform 다층박막거울은 거울면의 일부 반사영역에서만 원하는 파장대역의 단색 엑스선을 얻을 수 있어서 엑스선 영상기술 응용에 한계가 있다. 본 연구에서는 다층박막거울의 전 영역에 걸쳐 동일한 단색엑스선을 얻기 위해 거울에 입사하는 백색 엑스선의 입사각에 상응하는 선형적 기울기의 박막두께를 갖는 Graded 다층박막거울을 설계하였고, 기존 이온빔 스퍼터링 장치에 마스크 제어 장치를 추가 제작하여 100×100mm2 크기로 제작하였다. 제작된 Graded 다층박막거울은 17.5keV의 단색엑스선을 획득할 수 있도록 설계하였으며 박막두께주기는 2.88nm~4.62nm(Center 3.87nm)이다. 엑스선 반사율은 60% 이상이며, 단색 엑스선의 FWHM은 1.4keV 이하이고 엑스선 빔 폭은 3mm정도이다. 유방촬영에 적합한 몰리브덴 특성엑스선에 해당하는 17.5keV의 단색 엑스선을 얻음으로써 저선량·고감도 유방암 진단장치 개발에 응용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

CdTe 멀티에너지 X선 영상센서와 ROIC를 패키징 하기 위한 flip chip bump bonding, Au wire bonding 및 encapsulation 공정조건을 개발하였으며 성공적으로 모듈화 하였다. 최적 flip chip bonding 공정 조건은 접합온도 CdTe 센서 150℃, ROIC 270℃, 접합압력 24.5N, 접합시간 30s일 때이다. ROIC에 형성된 SnAg bump의 bonding이 용이하도록 CdTe 센서에 비하여 상대적으로 높은 접합온도를 설정하였으며, CdTe센서가 실리콘 센서에 비하여 쉽게 파손되는 것을 고려하여 접합압력을 최소화하였다. 패키징 완료된 CdTe 멀티에너지 X선 모듈의 각각 픽셀들은 단락이나 합선 등의 전기적인 문제점이 없는 것을 X선 3D computed tomography를 통해 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 Flip chip bump bonding후 전단력은 2.45kgf/mm2 로 측정되었으며, 이는 기준치인 2kgf/mm2 이상으로 충분한 접합강도를 가짐을 확인하였다.

After percutaneous endoscopic lumbar discectomy (PELD), postoperative radiating leg pain could persist and become a common problem. This symptom provides important information for use in deciding on performance of reoperation for remnant disc or recurrent disc herniation. Of 225 patients who underwent PELD, 51 patients had persistent radicular pain. Steroid injection to epidural space resulted in pain reduction of at least 50 % in 15 (30.3 %) of these patients. Thirty five cases showed a bad outcome after steroid injection, indicating high sensitivity for detection of a remnant or disc herniation in follow up Magnetic Resonance images (25 cases, 71.4%). Twenty one patients were treated by reoperation. Steroid injection has a diagnostic value with a high sensitivity for mechanical compression of the nerve root as remaining or recurrent disc herniation in MRI for the necessity of a re-operation.

The principle of treatment of type 2, 3 odontoid process fracture is controversial. The debate is in regard to which is effective between conservative treatment and surgery. We enrolled 41 patients with type 2, 3 odontoid process fracture from January 2007 to December 2011 at Chosun University Hospital. Patients in Group I (GI) received a halo vest and those in Group II (GII) underwent surgery by ant. screw fixation. The bone fusion was classified according to stable bone union, fibrous union, and unstable non-union. Patients in GI received halo vest for a mean period of 4.9 months and those in GII received a neck collar for a mean period of 3.8 months. Tweleve patients in GI and 17 patients in GII had stable bone union. Three patients in GI and two patients in GII had fibrous union. Five patients in GI and two patients in GII had non-union. The halo vest was a good conservative treatment for type 2, 3 odontoid process fracture : however, low bone fusion rate is a problem in particularly old age. However, ant. screw fixation is a better treatment in regard to short surgical time, short fusion time, and high bone fusion rate.
