한국산 짓딧물 중기생 금좀벌 9종을 보고한다. 이중 Ardiles convexa (Walker, 1833)와 Asaphes vulgris Walker, 1834의 기록은 의문시 된다.

한국산 말매미충류를 분류한 결과, 모두 5족 14속 41종으로 밝혀졌다. 그 중에서 2신속 Diodontophorus gen. nov. 및 Koreotettix gen. nov. 그리고 Koreotettix parvus gen. et sp. nov. Pagaronia chejuensis sp. nov. P. naejangsana sp. nov. P. pallida sp. nov. P. similis sp. nov. P. taeamsana sp. nov. P. umbratica sp. nov. P. bifurcata sp. nov. P. diversa sp. nov. P. elegans sp. nov., and P. maculipennis sp. nov. 등 11신종을 새로 추가하였다. 또한 Bathysmatophorus koreanus와 B. japonicus는 신속 Diodontophorus gen. nov. 로 변경 처리되었으며, 지금까지 오동정되어 왔던 Bathysmatophorus schabliovskii는 북한에 실제로 분포하고 있음이 확인되었다. 분류군마다 검색표를 작성하였고, 각종의 분포 및 기주식물을 정리하였으며, 생물지리학적 특성을 분석하였다.

한국산 꼭지파리류를 분류 동정한 결과, Nemopoda pectinulata Loew, 1873(산꼭지파리)와 Themira nigricornis Meigen, 1826(가시꼭지파리) 등 한국미기록 2속 2종을 새로 발견하였으며, 모두 8속 12종이 분포하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 또한 각 분류군의 검색표, 채집지 및 분포 등을 정리하였다.

농업기술연구소, 임업연구원, 강원대학교 곤충계통분류연구센터, 경상대학교 생물과에 소장된 밤나방과 표본을 공정한 결과 확인된 "Quadrifinaee" (Euteliinae, Sarrothripinae, Chloephorinae, Plusiinae, Catocalinae, Ophiderinae, Hypenodinae, Rivulinae and Hypeninae)에 속하는 한국 미기록종을 24종을 보고한다. 이중 12종은 일본에서만 기록이 있우나, 아시아 내륙에서는 처음 기록된다.

농업기술연구소, 임업연구원, 강원대학교 곤충계통분류연구센터, 경상대학교 생물과에 소장된 밤나방과 표본을 공정한 결과 확인된 "Trifinae" (Acronictinae, Noctuinae, Heliothinae, Hadeninas, Cuculliina and Amphipyrinae)에 속하는 59종의 한국 미기록종을 보고한다. 이중 12종은 일본에서만 기록이 있을뿐 아시아 내륙에서는 처음 기록되는 종들이다. 또한 Brithys crini, Apamea hampsoni, Kumasia kumaso, Callopistria japonobia 등 4종은 현재까지 제주도에서만 분포가 알려지는 종들이며, Euxoa lidia, Spaolotis deplorata, Xestia (Anomogyana) albuncula, Lacanobia dentata, Apamea rubrirena, Psudocosmia maculata 등 6종은 북한지역에서만 채집된 종들이다.

한국산 Dichomeris속은 18종으로 정리되며 각 종의 외부형태, 분포 및 생활사에 관한 전반적인 내용을 정리, 보고한다. 이중 7종을 신종으로 기재하며, 3종은 우리나라에서 처음으로 보고되는 미기록종들이었다. 신종으로 기재되는 7종은 lespedezae Park, mitteri Park, strictella Park, polystigma Park, fareasta Park, cuspis Park, minutia Park 등이며 한국미기록종은 quercicola Meyrick, horoglypta Meyrick, litoxyla Meyrick 등 3종이었다. 금번연구를 통해 MNHN에 소장되어 있는 모식표본을 기준으로 D. harmonias Meyrick의 신모식표본(lectotype)을 지정하였다. 또한 각 종에 대한 검색표를 작성하였으며 새로이 보고되는 종들의 암수생식기를 각각 도해하였다.

한국산 씀바귀(Lactuca dentata Makino)의 ethylacetate 추출물에서 6 종류의 flavonoid 성분이 TLC에 의해서 검출 되었으며, 이들은 극성에 따라서 A에서 F가지 명명되었다. 그들 중 주성분으로 생각되는 물질 E를 column chromatography을 이용하여 분리정제 하였다. 물질 E의 녹는 점은 249.5℃-251℃ 로 나타났으며, 그 구조를 밝히기 위하여, 물질 E와 이를 가수분해한 genin에 대한 여러가지 shift reagent에서 UV와 IR분석을 하고 또한 물질 E와 그의 acetyl 유도체에 대한 NMR 분석을 하였으며 물질 E에 결합된 당은 TLC에 의하여 확인하였다. 이와같은 분석 결과에서 물질 E는 luteolin 모핵에 glucose가 결합된 luteolin-7-0-β-D-glucoside로서 확인되었다.

In a survey of mites associated with ornamental trees in 1992 and 1993m five Tarsonemus species unrecorded inKorea were identified. The present study was carried out in atheroscleorotic New Zealend white(NZW) rabbits. to evaluate the effect of dietary supplementation with Korean pinenut oil, on plasma total fatty acid composition. In study I, NZW rabbits were fed 10 weeks on a commercial chow diet supplemented with 5% of energy as fats(soybean oil or pinenut oil) or 10% of energy as fats(soybean oil or pinenut oil) with the addition of 1% cholesterol to the diet. Nineteen fatty acids ranged from myristic acid (14:0) to cervonic acid (22:6 Ω3) were identified in all the samples. The c5, c9, c12~18 : 3 acid was not reported in the fatty acid methyl ester profiles of each group because it was included in the linoleic acid peak. The major constitutent fatty acids in the chow diet group were linoleic acid, oleic acid, palmitic acid and α-linolenic acid. In the cholesterol group, oleic acid, linoleic acid and palmitic acid were the major fatty acids. In plasma of cholesterol-fed animals, the levels of 16:1 Ω 7 and 18:1 1 Ω 9 were increased. Linoleic acid was the major fatty acid in soybean oil/cholesterol and pinenut oil/cholesterol groups. Plasma linoleic acid levels were significantly incresed from 4 to 6% by the supplementation of 5% soybean or 5% pinenut oil in the cholesterol diet for 5 weeks, compared to cholesterol group. Plasma 16 : 1 Ω 7 levels in animals fed with 5 or 10% pinenut oils were significantly lower than in those fed cholesterol for 5 weeks. After 10 weeks on the soybean oil and pinenut oil diet there were no significant differences in the fatty acid composition. In study II, the fatty acid composition was not affected by the types or levels of oils supplemented for 5 weeks. After 10 weeks on the oil diets 16:1 Ω 7 and 18:1 Ω 9 were decreased in 10% soybean in oil/cholesterol and 10% pinenut oil/cholesterol groups, compared to cholesterol group.

멧누에나방(Bombyx mandarina) 난각유전자의 형질발현기구를 규명하기 위한 연구의 일환으로 각형성과정에 있어서 난각단백질의 합성과정을 분석하였다. 난각단백질의 합성과정을 여포세포의 기난관배양에 의한 in vitro합성계에 의하여 분석한 결과, 합성과정은 8단계로 나눌 수 있었으며 SDS-PAGE 분석에 의해 17개 이상의 단백질 band로 분리되었다. 멧누에 난각단백질은 합성시기에 따라 3단계로 구분되며 초기에는 비교적 고분자 성분이, 합성의 중후기에는 비교적 저분자성분이 합성되는 등 난각단백질의 합성은 시기특이적으로 조절되었다.

벼멸구 생태형 1, 2, 3의 형태의 차이를 구별하고자 장시형과 단시형 암수를 대상으로 형태적 변화를 관찰하였다. 암컷은 생식 부위인 Abdominal lateral lobes의 좌우 부위를 비교 조사하였다. 수컷은 앞다리, 가운데 다리, 뒷다리 부절의 Unguitractor plate를 조사하였다. 생태형 2의 단시형 암컷은 Abdominal lateral lobes의 기부가 잘라진 것으로 생태형 1과 3보다 많았다. Unguitractor plate의 경우 생태형 2는 장단시형 암 수 모두 부절 안쪽으로 함입되어 있었다.

본 연구에서는 한국산 이리응애과 - 2아과, 3속 5아속, 27종 - 을 정리하여, 종의 기재와 검색표를 작성하였다. 이 중 신종, 밤이리응애(신칭), Phytoseius crenatus sp. nov.를 기재하며, 알락이리응애(신칭), Amblyseius makuwa Ehara는 한국에서 처음으로 보고한다.
