In this paper, we present the result of investigations pertaining to the elastic buckling of simply supported columns with various cross-sectional dimensions but the same length and volume. In the investigations the accuracy of the analysis methods is studied and it was found that the result obtained by the successive approximations technique is the most accurate. In addition, the elastic buckling loads of columns with variable cross-section dimensions are obtained by the theoretical and numerical methods. From the results, it was found that the buckling loads obtained by the numerical methods are close to the buckling loads obtained by the successive approximations technique for the practical standpoints. Moreover, the buckling load of column with convexity in its middle is the highest while the buckling load of the tapered column is the lowest as expected.

이 연구는 자유단에 경사 종동력을 받는 변단면 기하 비선형 캔틸레버 기둥의 수치해석에 관한 연구이다. 기둥의 단면은 휨 강성이 부재축을 따라 함수적으로 변화하는 변단면으로 선택하였다. 이러한 기둥의 정확탄성곡선을 지배하는 미분방정식을 대변형 이론을 이용하여 유도하였다. 이 미분방정식은 자유단 수직변위, 수평변위 및 회전각의 3개의 미지변수를 갖는다. 이 미분방정식을 반복법으로 수치해석하여 기둥의 미지변수와 정확탄성곡선을 산정하였다. 이 연구의 이론을 검증하기 위하여 실험실 규모의 실험을 실행하였다.

이 논문은 일단고정 타단스프링으로 지지된 변단면 Beck 기둥의 임계하중에 관한 연구이다. 기둥의 변단면을 중실 직사각형 단면을 갖는 선형 변단면으로 채택하고, Bernoulli-Euler보 이론을 이용하여 경사종동력이 작용하는 소위 Beck 기둥의 자유진동을 지배하는 상미분방정식과 경계조건을 유도하였다. 이 미분방정식을 수치해석하여 하중-고유진동수 곡선을 얻고 이로부터 발산임계하중 및 동요임계하중을 산출하였다. 수치해석의 결과로부터 변단면 형태, 경사변수 및 스프링 강성이 임계하중에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다

일정체적의 원형단면을 갖는 변단면 보-기둥의 자유진동 및 좌굴하중을 지배하는 미분방정식을 유도하고 이를 수치해석하였다. 미분방정식에는 축하중효과를 고려하였다. 원형단면의 반경변화는 포물선식을 채택하였고, 고정-고정, 고정-회전 및 회전-회전 보-기둥의 고유진동수 및 좌굴하중을 산출하였다. 수치해석의 결과로 무차원 고유진동수와 무차원 변수들 사이의 관계 및 무차원 좌굴하중과 단면비 사이의 관계를 그림에 나타내었고, 최강기둥의 단면비와 좌굴하중을 구하였다.

In the both overlap connection and connection with tapered threaded splices of seismic test results, the good agreement of seismic capacity are shown. Therefore the proposed tapered threaded splices can be applied to the RC structure to replace the overlap connection of rebar.

In the both loading test results and analytical results of specimens with tapered threaded splices, the good agreement of load-carrying capacity are shown. Therefore the proposed model for tapered threaded splices can be applied to the analysis of structure with tapered threaded splices.
