자아성찰과 객관적 시각추구는 자아와 공동체를 개선하기 위해 필요한 정신이다. 그런데 히니는 시를 쓰는 목적에서, 종교 및 인종 갈등을 겪는 북아일랜드 사태를 해결하려는 자세에서, 종교와 정치 구속으로부터 벗어나 순수예술을 창조하려 는 의지에서, 자신의 시와 국수적인 국가를 엄격하게 비판하려는 태도 및 영혼의 세계 와 죽음을 고찰하는 태도 등에서 다른 시인보다 훨씬 깊은 자아 성찰적 태도와 객관적 시각을 드러내고 있다고 생각된다. 혼돈과 부조화와 단절을 찬미하는 시인과 달리 히니는 자신과 공동체를 객관적으로 보고 개선하려는 시인이다.

음양의 관념은 자연적 속성을 가리키는 것에서 추상적 사유로 그 개념 이 확장되어 하나의 사상으로 성숙하였다. 동서양의 사상적 장벽을 초월하여 고대인들은 그들 자신을 둘러싼 모든 환경을 상대적으로 생각하거나 상보적인 관점으로 해석 하는 데 익숙했다. 따라서 음양의 관념이 중국인들에 의해 사상적으로 정립되었지만 동서양을 막론한 인류의 보편적 세계관이라고 볼 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 음양의 특징인 상호대립성, 상호의존성, 소장평형성, 상호전화성, 그리고 상호조화성 등을 고찰하 고 예이츠의 문학과 철학 그리고 삶에 그것을 접목시켜 해석한다. 이 논문의 목적은 예이츠의 시가 초기, 중기, 후기를 거처 존재의 통일인 음양합덕에 도달하는 과정을 그의 자아발견의 여정과 접목시켜 고찰하는 것이다.

This study investigated multidimensional body image, self-esteem, clothing benefits sought, and Body Image After Breast Cancer (BIABC) within surgical subgroups among breast cancer survivors. The study applied the questionnaire survey method and the main research was conducted through an online survey. The respondents included 207 breast cancer survivors between the ages of 30 and 59, each of whom received the Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire (MBSRQ). Self-esteem, clothing benefits sought, examination, and demographic variables were measured using a 5-point Likert scale. The main results of this study are outlined below. For clothing benefit sought, six factors were formulated—pursuit of self-expression/social approval, function/health, compensation, femininity, fashion, and camouflage—and BIABC was defined by the four factors of body stigma/vulnerability, transparency, limitation and cancer concern. While MBSRQ and self-esteem did not show a statistically significant difference between groups differentiated by the surgical methods experienced, those who underwent mastectomies scored slightly lower than members of the other groups. Moreover, the reconstruction after mastectomy group showed the highest mean on self-expression/social approval, compensation, femininity and entire clothing benefits sought, followed by the lumpectomy group and mastectomy group. The lumpectomy group was found to have more positive BIABC than the mastectomy group. In particular, the mastectomy group showed a lower body stigma/vulnerability mean than the other groups. This study is meaningful in that it improves our understanding of the body image of breast cancer survivors and provides basic knowledge for developing products and marketing strategies for breast cancer survivors as consumers.

Every artist tries to attempt to search for ‘self’ through his own medium. It is the same with a writer, especially a poet. W.B.Yeats, a poet and poetic dramatist, had also tried to achieve ‘Unity of Being’ through his poems and poetic dramas. But in the case of Yeats, the development process of his ideas and theories is said to have played an important part in his search for self, that is, Unity of Being. The purpose of this paper is to examine and define the search for self through the development process of his ideas and thoeries. Yeats's dissatisfaction with science, materialism and empiricism led him to join the Dublin Hermetic Society in 1886 in which he acquired “the doctrine of reincarnation”, “the theory of correspondences,” and the idea that “all existences are arranged cyclically” from Madame Blavatsky, the leader of the Society. Turning against the Society's asceticism and Blavatsky's dogmas, Yeats took part in the so-called “the Order of Golden Dawn” led by MacGregor Mathers. Yeats was initiated into Mathers' Kabbalism, European Rosicrucianism. So he came to believe that there exists the symbolic system in the process of human soul. He also studied William Blake and was interested in Blake's ideas of “the four Zoas” and “the four-fold vision.” He developed Blake's ideas into his own theory of “Quarternity” as well as into his idea of four Faculties (Will, Mask, Craetive Mind, and Body of Fate). In 1925, he compiled the ideas and theories which he learned from various sources into a systematic organization in A Vision, in which he described his vision chiefly in terms of the idea of the “Great Wheel”. Yeats's vision of cyclical progress of human soul revealed in the idea of the “Great Wheel” is thus not only the ground of his understanding of human life and national history but a part of his search for self, his Unity of Being.

본 연구에서는 게임 이용자들이 게임에 과몰입하게 되는 심리적 욕구나 욕망을 보다 정교한 방식으로 탐색하고자 하였다. 기존 게임 과몰입의 영향 변수들과 더불어 치유적 카타르시스와 자아 효능감 이론을 적용하여 온라인 게임 이용자 489명을 대상으로 그 효과를 검증한 결과 치유적 카타르시스와 게임 자아 효능감 요인이 게임의 중독적 현상을 심화시키는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 게임 이용자들이 현실이 야기한 결핍과 불충족된 욕구에 대한 방어기제를 작동시키면서 암묵적인 자아 치유를 위해 게임에 더욱 과몰입 하고 있음을 시사한다. 본 연구는 게임 이용이 게임 과몰입으로 이어지는 내면의 심리를 파악하는데 유용한 근거로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
