본 연구의 목적은 쌀소득보전직불제가 농가소득 변동성에 미친 영향을 분석하는 것이다. 분석에는 2013~2017년 '농가경제조사'와 '농축산물 생산비 조사'에서 추출한 375개 농가 패널 자료가 사용되었다. 분석방법은 변동계수 비교, 분산분해분석, 그리고 로버스터 회귀모형을 이용하였다. 직불금 여부에 따른 농가소득 변동성 차이를 분석한 결과, 직불금은 농가소득의 변동성을 유의하게 감소시킨 것으로 확인되었다. 분산분해분석을 통해 농업소득의 분산은 총수입(변동직불금 제외)의 분산으로 75%, 농업비용의 분산으로 19.8%, 변동직불금의 분산으로 6.0% 설명될 수 있음을 확인하였다. 회귀분석 결과 쌀재배면적이 클수록 소득안정화 효과는 커지는 것으로 나타났다.
우리 사회는 1960년대 산업화 이후 경제, 정치 등 다양한 영역에서 급속한 근대화와 압축 성장을 이루었다. 하지만 이러한 성장 속에서 계층 간 소득 격차와 양극화가 심화되는 등 여러 문제가 발생했고, 이는 국토 전체적으로는 물론 도시 내에서도 지역 간 불균형 발전을 야기했다. 본 연구는 소득 수준이 지역 간 불균형 발전에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위해 가구별 연평균 소득과 인프라 접근성 간 관계를 실증적으로 분석한다. 연구에서는 서울시 소득 수준 데이터와 인프라 데이터를 사용하여 소득 수준과 인프라 접근성 간 관계를 다중회귀분석을 사용해 분석하였다. 연구의 공간적 범위는 서울시이며, 시간적 범위는 2017년으로 설정했다. 인프라 시설은 교육, 교통, 문화・여가, 보건, 체육 관련 시설로 구분했으며, 소득 수준과 함께 인구 밀도, 인구 수, 중심업무지구 여부 등이 접근성에 미치는 영향을 분석했다. 분석 결과 소득 수준에 따라 인프라 접근성에 차이가 나타난 것을 확인했고, 교통 인프라를 제외한 모든 분야에서 비교적 높은 상관관계가 도출되었다. 또한, 소득 수준 변화에 민감하게 반응하는 분야와 소득 수준에 따라 나타나는 인프라 접근성의 차이를 확인할 수 있었다.
This study employed the Gini coefficient decomposition analysis to classify and examine fishery household income inequality according to income sources. The raw data from the Fisheries Economic Survey by the National Statistical Office were used for the analysis after equalization according to the recommended method of the OECD. In particular, the Gini coefficient was decomposed by classifying with and without public subsidies, and the contribution, correlation, and marginal effect by income source were presented.As a result of the analysis, the inequality of fishing income and non-fishing income of fishermen was worsening, and the inequality of transfer income was continuously easing. Among them, fisheries subsidies have been analyzed to have the greatest contribution to the Gini coefficient of gross income and the highest relative marginal effect, although distribution inequality has been alleviated. On the other hand, other subsidies, including public pensions, were found to have the opposite contribution, correlation, and marginal effect to fisheries subsidies. The results of this analysis showed that even within public subsidies, the contribution to income redistribution might differ depending on the nature of the subsidy. In addition, in the case of other public subsidies, it can be seen that the transition from selective welfare to universal welfare occurs.
토종닭의 중요성은 대부분의 농업인 단체에서 자원이 부족한 농업인들을 위한 중요한 사업으로 인식되면서 수년에 걸쳐 증가하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 사업은 낮은 수익률과 비경제적인 문제에 직면 해 있다. 케냐 농축산 연구기구(KALRO) 의 이전 기구이었던 케냐 케냐농업연구기구(KARI)는 토종 닭의 생산성 향상을위한 연구에 앞장서 왔다. KARI의 개량 닭 사양관리 기술은 생산성 저하 문제를 줄이기 위한 연구를 수행 하였다. KALRO는 KOPIA 프로젝트를 통해 지난 5년 동안 Machakos와 Kiambu County의 두 모델 마을에서 기술 이전을 추진 하였다. 본 연구는 KARI의 개량 닭이 식량과 가구 소득에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위해 수행되었다. 두 카운티 모두 입식률이 2008년 2%에서 증가했으며, 2016년 Machakos County의 시범마을 참여 농업인의 59%와 Kiambu 에서 39%가 입식 한 최고치를 기록하였다. 그러나 병아리 입식은 2017년에 감소하다 다시 2018년에 증가하기 시작하였다. 두 카운티에서 2018 년에 판매 된 계란의 수는 Kiambu카운티에 서 230% 증가하였고, Machakos카운티 시범마을에서는 한 달에 가장 높은 963% 증가를 기록하면서 크게 증가하였다. 이는 주로 연간 180~250개의 알을 낳는 KALRO 개량 닭의 도입에 기인하였다. 이것은 계란 생산과 판매로 식량 및 가구 소득 증가로 이어졌습니다. 이 결과는 KARI 개량 닭이 가정의 식량과 소득 안정에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤음을 보여주었다.
The purpose of this study was to evaluate dietary habit and nutritional status by household income in female adults, using data from the 4th Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2007~2009). Subjects were 8,356 women over the age of 20 years. The subjects were classified into 4 groups by household income level. Dietary data from 24 hr recall methods were used to analyze nutritional status. The obesity rate of the low income group was significantly higher than the rates of other income groups. Additionally, the nutritional status of the low income group was worse than those of other groups. The percentage of carbohydrate in total energy intake was higher and food security status was lower in the low income group than in other groups. Awareness and adherence to dietary guidelines were also lower in the low income group. Adherence to a dietary guideline of ‘avoiding salty foods and trying to eat foods with bland taste’ and ‘eating a variety of foods from each food group’ were lower than those of other groups. However, the frequency of skipping breakfast among the low income group was lower than that of others. Therefore, this study suggested that low income women should decrease the percentage of carbohydrate in total energy intake and adhere to dietary guidelines, especially those of avoiding salty foods and eating a variety of food groups, in order to improve their nutritional status.
This study examines trends in the overall income inequality of fishery household from 2003 to 2012 with the panel data of the Fishery Household Economy Survey. To investigate the potential determinants of income inequality, we decomposes the Gini coefficients into five income sources, fishery income, nonfishery income(non-fishery business income, non-business income), transfer income, irregular income and calculate the impact of each income sources on total income inequality. An evident trend toward increasing inequality of household income was found. Also, we find rising fishery income and non-fishery income play important role in the rapid increase of income inequality. Only transfer income appear to reduce total income inequality.
This study introduced income mobility analysis using pseudo-longitudinal panel data from Family Income and Expenditure Survey (FIES) to consider the dynamic process of individual’s well-being through time. Since there is no comprehensive measurement of income mobility because of its dynamic process, various income mobility indices such as Chi-square, Average Jump Index, Atkinson et al. Mobility Ratio, and Shorrocks’ Mobility Index were used. These indices revealed that Filipino households’ income movements are more mobile than expected, and their income status improved from 2000 to 2015. As income mobility takes place, income inequality is reduced by 91.80 percent (91.80%). Furthermore, the growth effect is the main factor of income mobility. This indicates that households took the economic opportunities from economic growth to earn more. However, income mobility due to transfer effect (transfer of income from one household to another through lottery winning and borrowing) increased when the economy is not good. The higher income mobility due to growth effect compared to transfer effect, whether the economy is good or bad, means that households learned how to use their income in savings, investments, and entrepreneurship. This is the result of a successful financial literacy program of the government wherein households realized financial stability and security.
The objective of the this study is to find a way to increase fm household income through investigating their computer applications. We utilized the 2000 Korea Agricultural Survey data and applied a Heckman Selection Model to correct a selection bias. The present study found the following results. First, determinant of income among fm households by the level of computer applications has significant statistical differences based on their choices of computer applications. Accordingly, the application of general linear regression about fm income without adjusting these choices may cause statistical fallacy. Second, it has been reported that increasing the member of household is not directly related to increasing the fm income. In case of computer-own farm household, the effect of decrease in income according to increasing in age was predicted. However, in the fm household not possessing computer, it shows negative relationship. It shows that an agricultural career of farm owner and educational attainment of all farm household members have positive relationship regardless of computer possession. The income of the farm household those main field is not agriculture is also found to be lower than that of farm household whose major earnings come from agriculture.
