Logistics companies distinguish between medium-sized business and small business according to the size of enterprises. Of course, conglomerates are called global corporations. In this study, mid-sized companies over a certain size or more and those below are classified and decide the priorities among important factors to secure competitiveness in logistics companies are determined through AHP technique. Mid-sized companies are companies that can provide more than two logistics services. For example, they provide warehousing and transportation services in the same time. small companies are companies that can mostly provide one functional service. Warehousing, transportation, manpower, and information are listed as factors in this study. As a result of the study, medium-sized companies emphasized on the importance of transportation. When it comes to small companies, warehousing was emphasized as an important factor. Due to the simultaneous and contemporary service of warehousing and transportation in small-sized company, the reliable image of the company will be underestimated in case of delays in transportation. Competitiveness will also be weakened. Global corporations or conglomerates will start to consider relocating warehousing areas to others except for the central storage hub. They won’t plan to invest directly, either. Therefore, it will be possible to secure competitiveness by providing the function of warehousing and to signed easily partnership

As companies were concerned with developing green logistics and environment, most logistics concerned functions like packaging, loading, storage, transportation and IT studies are active in study. Even if active in research studies, companies still recognized that logistics cost increases as green concepts are applied. For the efficient execution of green logistics management, it is absolutely necessary but difficult to build an optimal logistics system where each function is smoothly interacted through the proper integration and the link of various logistics functions and partners. This study aims to development of green logistics through integration of supply chain functions and partners. With this aim of study, case studies with analysis of embodiment, planning and operations for supply chain of companies are carried out.

This study investigates the role of logistics capability and logistics outsourcing on the performance of manufacturing companies in Pakistan. It examines how logistics capability affects firm’s performance, why outsourcing is essential and how firms benefited if they outsource the service rather than establishing their own logistics capability. This research is based on a survey using structured a questionnaire to collect the primary data. The target population is logistics specialists of manufacturing companies in Pakistan with head offices based on Karachi, that have their own logistics or outsource their logistics. The questionnaire has been distributed to 500 respondents in 113 manufacturing companies in Pakistan. Confirmatory factor analysis has been used as statistical techniques to check the factor loading of the components, and SEM (Structural Equation Model) is used to check the impact of logistics capability on firm’s performance as well as the role of logistics outsourcing as a mediator. The findings of the research suggest logistics capability has positive impact on the performance of the manufacturing companies in Pakistan, and logistics capability has also an impact on logistics outsourcing. On the other hand, the study found that logistics outsourcing has no significant impact on the manufacturing companies in Pakistan.

본 연구는 항만 물류배후단지에 입주하여 운영하는 입주업체들의 효율성을 분석하는 것을 연구의 목적으로 하였다. 인천항과 부산신항 항만 물류배후단지 13개 입주기업을 효율성 분석대상으로 하였으며, 투입변수는 투자액, 면적, 종업원 수를 사용하였고, 산출변수 는 물동량과 매출액을 선정하였다. 효율성 분석방법으로는 전통적인 CCR 모형과 BCC 모형을 적용하고 이들의 한계점을 극복하기 위해 초효율성 모형과 Super-SBM 모형을 적용하였다. 초효율성 모형의 분석결과, 평균값은 0.777, 표준편차는 0.541로 나타나 각 기업 간 효율 성 점수 차이는 33% 정도 존재하는 것으로 분석되었다. Super-SBM 모형의 분석결과, 평균값은 0.649, 표준편차는 0.489로 초효율성 모형 에서 여분을 고려할 경우 기업 간 효율성 점수 평균이 약 13% 정도 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 감소의 의미는 비방사형 여분이 존재 하는 DMU의 효율성 점수하락이 평균 13% 정도 됨을 의미한다. 투입요소의 비효율성 분석결과 면적 -33%, 투자액 -33%에 비해 종업원 수의 비효율성이 -45%로 가장 큰 것으로 분석되었다.

역량을 집중시키고 기업 비용절감을 도모하고 고객에 대한 서비스 의 질을 향상 시키는 등의 노력을 하여야 한다. 그중에서 기업들 은 자사의 역량을 핵심 분야에 집중시키고 나머지 부분들은 아웃 소싱을 통해 기업비용 절감을 실현시키는 방법에 관심을 기울이고 있고 특히 물류 부문의 아웃소싱에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 이러한 이유는 우리나라 기업물류비가 선진국에 비해 월등히 높다 는 것 때문이다. 이와 같은 높은 물류비는 대외적으로 수출상품의 가격경쟁력 약화와 무역수지 악화를 초래하고, 대내적으로는 물가 상승 요인으로 작용하여 우리경제에 큰 부담이 되고 있어 국가 경 쟁력 강화를 위해 물류비 절감이 절실히 요구 되고 있다. 이러한 상황의 해결책으로 대두되고 있는 것이 바로 제3자 물류기업으로 의 아웃소싱이다. 이에 따라 현재는 전문물류업체 등장과 함께 많 은 기업들이 자사물류에서 제3자 물류로 전환하고 있다. 하지만 화주기업들이 제3자 물류기업들에게 통합적인 물류서비스를 위탁 하는 경우는 많지 않다. 이에 본 연구에서는 국내 제3자 물류기업 현황과 문제점을 분석하고 프랜차이즈 기업 본 아이에프의 제3자 물류 활성화에 대한 사례를 통하여 향후 발전방안을 제시하였다.
