The questionnaire survey was carried out to collect basic data to identify the cause of the risk that did not appear in the current data provided by the fishermen’s occupational accidents of the National Federation of Fisheries Cooperative (NFFC) to the onsite specialist, such as a fishing master, chief engineer and fisher in stow net fishing vessel from June to July 2018. The results are as follows. A total of 134 cases were surveyed, including 53 cases in Yeosu, 44 cases in Mokpo, 30 cases in Boryeong and 7 cases in Gunsan. Approximately 60% of the respondents on board the stow net fishing vessel were more than 20 years old, and the boarding experience was seasoned and suitable for the respondents. In the 4M analysis by safety accident factor during fishing work, the mechanical factors included 51 cases (25.0%) of decrepit equipment or poor maintenance and 49 cases (24.0%) of systemic error of fishing equipment. The environmental factors exhibited 71 cases (33.5%) of poor communication by mixed manning of foreign fishermen and 63 cases (29.7%) of poor environment such as heavy weather etc. The human factors showed 78 cases (37.3%) of personnel’s carelessness and 45 cases (21.5%) of unskillfulness of operating net and haulers. The management factors exhibited 59 cases (32.1%) of work practice of poor safety precautions and 56 cases (30.4%) of inadequacy of education on hazard factor. The results are expected to contribute to the creation of a safe operating environment for stow net fishery, such as a fisher boarding a stow net fishing vessel, enabling the analysis of major causes of working safety accidents by cause.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of risk awareness on injury experience in quick delivery service workers. Risk awareness has complicate characteristics such as its level of worker and worker's decision about the level of other's risk perception. Data were collected by interview survey with structured questionnaire about injury experience, risk perception, work characteristics, and socio-demographic characteristics of quick delivery service workers by cross sectional survey design in 2012. The sample size was 120 respondent of quick delivery service workers. Statistical method for this study was hierarchical logistic regression method with 3 different models using socio-demographic characteristics and work characteristics and risk perception, etc. The difference between the level of risk perception of quick delivery service and other’s was statistically significant effect on the experience of injury. Especially the higher the level of risk perception of quick delivery service workers is than other’s, the lower the injury experience of quick delivery service worker is. The limitation of this study can be found in survey design. The future study for investigation of mechanism of the combined effect of risk perception of quick delivery service workers and others on injury experience.
This study was conducted in order to assist with infusing safety consciousness and resolving insensitivity towards safety for industrial accident in workers, managers and executives of chemical companies. Among many industrial accident prevention methods, Korea has been mostly taking an engineering approach of preventing industrial accidents by replacing old machines with risks of an accident and through new facilities and equipments. Through an attitude survey of workers in large scale chemical companies, this study wished to examine the fact that the biggest reason why the accident rate for the past 10 years has not decreased is because safety consciousness has not been established yet.
본 연구의 목적은 항만기업 종사자들의 정보보안인식정도와 지각된 정보보안위험 정도에 영향을 미치는 요인들이 어떤 것들이 있는지를 실증 분석하는 것이다. 특히, 지각된 정보보안위험에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하기 위하여 위험분석방법론을 토대로 자산, 위협, 취약성과의 관계를 분석하였다. 252개의 유효설문을 대상으로 AMOS를 이용한 구조방정식 모형 분석을 하였다. 연구결과를 보면, 첫째, 항만기업 종사자의 경우 정보자산은 지각된 정보보안위험에 유의하지 않은 결과로 분석되었다. 둘째, 위협, 취약성은 지각된 정보보안위험에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 정보보안인식과 정보보안교육, 정보보안인식과 정보보안의도와의 관계는 유의하게 분석되었다. 그러나 정보보안관심도는 정보보안인식에 유의하지 않은 것으로 분석되었다.
