        Spent nuclear fuel is a very complex material because various elements such as fission products, transuranium elements and activation products are produced from initial fresh UO2 fuel after irradiation. These elements exist in UO2 with various forms and can change the structure and of physicochemical properties of UO2. These changes could provide the surface activation site that could enhance chemical reactions and corrosion processes, and would significantly affect the storage environment for long-term disposal of spent nuclear fuel. Therefore, it can be important to understand the characteristics of spent nuclear fuel to design reliable and safe geological repositories. However, it is too hard to study the characteristics of spent nuclear fuel, because it is a very complex material by itself and not easy to handle due to its radioactivity, and it is also difficult to independently understand the effects of each element. Therefore, a simulated spent nuclear fuel containing an element that forms a solid solution and epsilon particle was manufactured to understand the change in characteristics of each element. Most of the elements that form solid solutions are lanthanides or actinides and can change the structure of the UO2 lattice itself. The epsilon particles exist as metals at the grain boundaries of UO2. In this study, structural changes were measured using XRD, SEM, and Raman spectroscopy, and physical and chemical properties were also identified by measuring electrical conductivity and electrochemical properties. The results were summarized, and the effects of solid solution elements and epsilon particles on the structure and properties of UO2 matrix were compared and discussed.

        The baculovirus-insect cell expression system has been widely used method for the recombinant protein expression. The present study has several limitation. In this study, we constructed vectors consisting of transcriptional enhanced factor and promoter that improve the expression level. To confirm the usefulness of these vector system, Human papillomavirus (HPV) VLPs have been expressed by baculovirus hyper expression system. HPV VLPs were purified using a CaptoTM Core 700 (GE Healthcare Life Sciences) chromatography approach. Baculovirus hyper expression system production efficiency was influenced by the HPV VLPs production. HPV VLPs vaccination to BALB/c mice induced the generation of antibody confirmed by ELISA. This study could provide improvements on the vaccine production for the development of VLP vaccines high expression of useful heterologous proteins.

        The magnetic alloys of Cu-Fe () were prepared by a mechanical alloying method and their structural and magnetic behaviors were examined by X-ray diffraction and Mossbauer spectra. The magnetization curves did not distinctly show the saturation at 70 kOe for the concentrated alloys of . The Mossbauer spectrum of at room temperature shows one Lorentzian line of the paramagnetic phase, whereas the Mossbauer spectrum of consists of sextet Lorentzian line at room temperature and a centered doublet line. The Mossbauer spectra of measured in the temperature ranges from 13 to 295 K, implies that to consists of two magnetic phases. One superimposed sextet corresponds to the ferromagnetic iron in Cu and the other one indicates the superparamagnetic iron rich phase.

        The paper presents the possibilities of obtaining new composite materials based on sintered porous ceramics with particles and fibre of infiltrated by aluminum alloy. The EN AC - AlSi12 alloy features the matrix material, whereas the RF50AX-301 preform, of Saffil Automotive, was used as the reinforcement. Examinations of ceramics preforms permeability were made. Metallographic examination of composite materials made on light microscope and in scanning electron microscope show that aluminum alloys fill micropores in the matrix. New composite materials show twice higher value of hardness in comparison with matrix. Results indicate that it is possible to infiltrate porous ceramic with liquid aluminum alloy to obtain new composite materials were advantageous properties of each component are connected.

        When we closely look into Korean particle usage of Korean learners, we can find many misuses in Japanese language learners even if Japanese language has similar word order and particles structure as well as English Korean language learners whose language is different to Korean in language order and no particles structure. The purpose of this study is to find out the actual condition, how the Korean particles education for Korean language learner is being processed to make clear how various type of misuses in particles usage of Korean language learner are resulted from the Korean language education locale, the correlation between manifold particles misuse and korean language learning contents in language learning locale. To bring these actual Korean particles education condition, firstly we are going to examine the frequent Korean particles misuse of Korean language learners, and then compare the Korean education locale for particles. These comparison will be helpful to suggest the efficient method of Korean particles education to prevent misuse in Korean particles of learners and make good material for the meaningful learner centered education for Korean particles.
