This report analyzed the types of damage occurring in small scale safety vulnerable buildings inspected in 2012, by both structural types and elapsed time. The results of the analysis show that more than 70% of damage on finishing or usability by non-structural elements is recoverable for its intended performance. Facilities over 20 years from compleetion have more than a 30% structure damage ratio, than can be dangerous for structural safety, and requires periodic check-ups and repair/reinforcement work to recover its performance.

The importance on maintaining the facility has been recently increased. In the meantime, a female students whose major is architectural engineering has difficulty in getting a job. In this study, one of the WISET the programs that is designed to enhance the capability of female students in their major area of study is introduced to provide a possible approach to increase the hiring rate of female students. The suggested method is to expand the job application of female students to the maintenance of the existing facility. For this purpose, each department should make an effort to correlate WISET program and the program that facilitates the hiring rate and corporation with the industry.

The systematization of construction information is required over whole life cycle of facilities to improve productivity of construction industry. BIM has been actively suggested as one of alternatives. However, it may be currently concentrated on the large-scale facilities while the small and medium-scale facilities based on BIM are slightly treated in indifference. This study has been performed to set up information management system based on BIM considering characteristics of small and medium-scale facilities. PLIB of ISO and construction information classification system of by MLTM in Korea are used in this study.

This study introduces the hysteretic behavior of RC column retrofitted with SRF(Super Reinforcement with Flexibility) method, which was developed for the purpose of enhancing the deformability of shear critical RC members. Hysteresis model of the retrofitted RC column is proposed to reproduce the experimental results showing strength deterioration and reascending branch in its hysteretic behavior.

Quality of injection sealer for water leakage maintenance be being managed by KS and ISO. However,the test result of bonding performance on the wet surface of concrete have some errors by an experimenter. Therefore this revision standard of test method is proposed by that the new tester is manufactured for solving this errors in this study.

Recently, retrofits by using fiber reinforced polymer (FRP) have been widely performed for strengthening of reinforced concrete structure. However, in spite of the weakness of FRP for fire, the research result of it is not enough for practical use. In korea, fire is most frequent disaster which occurs in building. This means the improved structural capacity of building by a retrofit with FRP may be lost by fire if the FRP was not properly protected from it. This paper present a fire test of concrete block reinforced by FRP. From the test, it was found that the bond capacity of FRP attached to concrete decreased from temperature loading of 65℃.

In this paper, a fire analysis result is presented for the evaluation of damage of reinforced concrete member enhanced by FRP. As a result, the loss of strength of RC member is able to be predicted by using FE analysis with proper material properties for temperature variation.

In this study, conducted an experiment for fire-resistance of silicone/inorganic flame retardant composites as fire resistant materials. Thermal characteristic analysis were performed by TGA(Thermogravimetric analysis) and Fire-resistance analysis performed by flame test. Through this study, we realized that the silicone/inorganic flame retardant composites have fire resistance and potential as Fire resistant materials.

This study is to evaluate structural strengthening performance of lightly reinforced concrete frame retrofitted with infill wall experimentally. In order to evaluate the performance concrete and SFRC infill walls. The weariable is presence of fiber and the wall panel is 1/3 scale models. In this study, the case of the seismic evaluation and retrofit for domestic masonry building, which are applied to the house for the aged in Busan city, was introduced. Seismic evaluation can be decided by comparing the seismic capacity index(Is) with the seismic protection index(Iso). According to the seismic evaluation, the seismic retrofit using metal lath and steel plate retrofit method was applied to the case of the lack of the seismic capacity. As a result of the retrofit, the seismic capacity was improved.

This present study proposes a practical strengthening technique for enhancing the in-plane shear strength and ductility of unreinforced masonry walls using the unbonded prestressed wire ropes. Four full-scale masonry walls were tested under constant axial load and cyclic lateral loads. To apply the NSM technique extensively, reasonable strengthening parameters, like flexural strengthening ratio, need to be evaluated. In this study, Monte Carlo Simulation(MCS) technique was applied to suggest reasonable values of strength ratio and uncertainties in material and geometry. Finally, flexural strengthening ratio for CFRP plate was determined by using the limit state function with the target reliability index.

Concrete has been widely used due to its high performance per price ratio. However, its durability is highly depended on the temperature, so it requires reinforcement on concrete structures. In this study, a long-term behavior analysis was conducted on a concrete strengthened by FRP tested on the freeze-thawing time increases, freeze-thaw evaluation.
