이 논문은 연구자의 시각에 비추어 이상 시에 대한 선행연구를 고찰하고 그 의미를 정리한 뒤 ‘감각’을 중심으로 향후 과제가 무엇인지 밝히는 데 목적을 두었다. 이상 시 연구를 가로질렀던 논점은 두 가지다. 첫째는 ‘천재 예술가 이상’이라는 항목이고, 둘째는 ‘다양한 의미의 스펙트럼을 가진 텍스트로서의 이상 시’라는 항목이다. 전자에서는 김해경이 어떻게 텍스트의 주체가 되었는가를 묻는 데 주력하는 반면 후자에서는 이상의 시가 해석학적 보고(寶庫)로서 다채로운 해석의 가능성을 보유한 텍스트로 변신한다. 최근에는 학문의 경계와 거대 담론의 벽을 넘어 텍스트의 상호매체성과 내적 원리에 천착하는 연구가 늘어나고 있는 추세다. 그의 천재성과 내면성, 근대성을 존중하며 텍스트의 표층에 피상적으로 다가서는 연구들이 대세를 이루었던 과거에 비해 텍스트의 심층을 다각적으로 파고드는 연구가 많아지고 있는 것이다. 그 와중에 우리는 파격과 혁신의 아이콘으로 불렸던 이상에 대한 당대적 실감을 잊어버리고 말았다. 이 충격의 첫 장면에 ‘감각’의 문제가 놓여 있는데도 말이다. 물론 많은 연구자들이 이상의 감각에 각별한 관심을 보였다. 하지만 이들은 그것을 모더니즘의 언어이자 데카르트적 주체인 ‘나’의 오감(五感)과 감수성이 세계와 어우러져 빚어내는 지적이고 인식론적인 경험에 한정시켜 거론한 듯하다. 그러나 감각이 주체와 객체를 나눌 수 있는 성질을 지닌 것도 아니고 이성의 미학을 실현시키는 매개로써 단일감각의 수준에만 머물러 있는 것도 아님을 기억할 때 이제는 감각을 존재론적 위상과 사건성이라는 차원에서 바라볼 필요가 있다. 총체적인 층위에서 감각의 동태 態)와 본질에 대한 논의가 요구된다는 얘기다. 바로 거기에 ‘문학병’ 환자였던 그의 믿음과 윤리적 스타일이 내포되어 있을 뿐 아니라 질병에 드리워진 낭만적 수사학과 거리를 두고 탕진과 소멸의 생산성을 온전히 직시(直視)할 수 있는 좋은 참조점이 숨어 있기 때문이다.

This study intends to consider advanced research on Lee-sang's poem reflecting on the image changed by researchers' sight, and arrange the meaning thereof, and investigate future task mainly with ‘sense’ which is judged to include the trend of research relatively at some length.The points that traversed research on Lee-sang's poem meanwhile can be compressed as two kinds. One is ‘a genius artist, Lee-sang’, another is ‘Lee-sang's poem which is a text that has a spectrum of various meanings.’ If we start from the former, we usually concentrate on the question asking that how Kim, hae-kyung became the subject of the text. The writing in the form of impressionist criticism and critical biography that are included in biographical approach are included here. On the other hand, if we pay attention to the latter, Lee-sang's poem transforms to a text that has possibility of various interpretation as an analytical treasure house. That is, to unfold various semantic wrinkles along with the prospect that the analyst stands and cuts the text open. Roughly psychoanalytical approach, structuralism, and approach of comparative literature, etc. can be pointed out, this study forms the synthesis thereof in the research that asserts rhetoric, modernity, etc. as key words. Recently the research tends to increase, which inquires into intermediality and inner principle of Lee-sang's text above the boundary of study and the barrier of deconstruction of discourse. In comparison to the past researches that mainly approached the surface layer of text with one aspect and superficial approach respecting his genius, internality and modernity, researches inquiring into the depth of text itself with total and multidirectional approach is more increasing.However, meanwhile we almost forgot the present age realization in Lee-sang, who was called as the icon of innovation by contemporary people. Despite the matter of ‘sense’ is put on the first scene of this shock. Of course, Lee-sang's keen and strange sense has already received special attention from many researchers. However, they seemed to generally mention his sense restricted in the category of intellectual and epistemic experience which is created by being in harmony with the world which ‘me’, the language of modernism and cartesian subject, and whose five senses and sensitivity face.However, primarily, when remembering that sense is not a thing which has a characteristic to divide subject and object clearly, neither which can remain at the level of a single sense as a kind of the medium that realizes the esthetics of the superiority of rationality, now it is necessary to watch sense in the dimension of its ontologistic status and case and controversy.That means, it is time that requires discussion on its movements and essence over the level of holistic layer of sense.Here, his belief and ethical style, which he didn’t hesitate to be a patient of ‘literature disease’, is implied. That is, he accused solid world sharply and keenly more than any other proclamation by destroying oneself and collapsing by being a strategically voluntary outsider in order to protect his literature. That is the result of rather carrying out aesthetic adventure which detects a clue to come close to pure truth in that abnormal rupture, distortion, and disturbance, without quarreling with the proposition that ‘there is nothing beautiful and harmonious.’ This can be a good reference point to entirely face the productivity which waste and extinction possesses keeping its distance with romantic rhetoric which lies in the disease.
