        지진해일에 의해 건축물에 작용하는 하중은 물의 흐름 및 부유물에 따라 정수역학에 의한 하중, 부력에 의한 하중, 유체역학에 의한 하중, 충격에 의한 하중 등으로 구분된다. 정수역학에 의한 하중(정수압)은 유속이 느리고 정체되어있을 때의 침수단계에서의 건축물에 작용하는 삼각형 분포의 하중, 부력에 의한 하중은 건축물 내부에 공기층이 형성되어 수직으로 작용하는 하중, 유체역학에 의한 하중은 해일이 내습하는 초기단계에서의 유속에 의해 작용하는 하중(동수압)으로 유속에 따라 파력의 크기가 달라진다. 충격에 의한 하중은 해일 내습시 부유물이 건축물에 충돌할 때 발생하는 하중으로 부유물의 무게 및 크기에 따라 달라진다. 이상과 같이 건축물에 영향을 미치는 해일하중은 유속 및 침수심 깊이, 하중을 받는 건축물의 입면면적 및 형태에 따라 달라진다. 그러나 해일 내습시의 유속은 계측이 불가능하므로 일반적으로 건축물에 작용하는 해일하중 산정시에는 동수압을 침수심계수를 사용하여 정수압으로 환산하여 산정한다. 본 연구에서는 이상과 같이 건축물에 작용하는 해일하중 평가시 중요한 척도가 되는 침수심 계수의 산정방법 및 크기에 따라 건축물에 작용하는 하중의 변화량에 대해서 검토하고자 한다.

        건축물들의 화재와 안전사고 등의 철저한 관리와 불특정 다수인들의 피해를 예방하기 위하여 주요 시설물에 대한 점검, 유지, 관리교육 등 기존 건축시설물의 관리현황들을 조사ㆍ분석하였다. 그 결과는 1. 조직적인 측면에서 시설관리자들의 자발적인 재난예방과 재난수습의 원활한 추진을 위해서는 높은 통솔력과 지휘감독권이 절실히 요구된다. 그것은 시설관리자에게 실질적인 예산의 편성 및 운용을 할 수 있는 권한을 주고 또한 실무자에게도 맡은 부분에 관하여 책임과 권한을 주는 제도적 장치도 필요하다. 2. 인력적 측면에서 시설물의 관리자 대부분은 30대와 40대가 대다수를 차지하고 있고, 실무자는 30대(48%)에서 40대(24%)로 가면서 절반으로 줄어들었다. 관리자 및 실무자의 경력에 있어서도 7~10년 미만과 15~20년 미만의 분포가 낮은 것은 건축물의 시설관리의 전문 인력이 부족한 현상으로 실무자들이 현장에 남아서 정년을 맞을 수 있는 대책이 필요하다. 3. 시설관리자 및 실무자들의 근무 조건에서 시설관리자나 실무자 대다수는 근무형태가 불규칙한 근로 조건(71%)에서 근무하고, 급여의 조건도 미비하며 근무환경 역시 열악하였다. 따라서 이의 개선이 필요하며 현실적인 급여 등의 개선도 중요할 것이다. 4. 시설관리의 측면에서 시설물 관리자의 74%가 두 가지 이상의 시설관리업무를 수행하고 있고, 또한 넓은 관리면적을 담당하고 있었다. 이렇듯 시설물의 안전이나 충실한 관리 점검을 위해서도 관리자나 실무자들의 잡무 등은 줄여야 할 것으로 사료된다. 5. 교육의 측면에서 시설관리자들은 법정교육에 대해 89%가 상당한 도움이 된다고 하였다. 그러나 교육의 내용을 살펴보면 이론위주의 교육이 83%로 대부분을 차지하며, 시설관리현장에 바로 적용할 수 있는 실무위주의 교육은 17%밖에 되지 않아 아쉽다고 하였다. 이렇듯 실무교육시간의 확대가 필요하다.

        For the seismic performance assessment of a building, a lot of time and manpower are needed. In this paper, alternative procedure based on modeling transformation for the effective seismic performance assessment of the buildings is suggested. The suggested procedure is applied for the seismic performance assessment of an apartment building consisted of the ordinary reinforced concrete shear walls as the example model and its effectiveness is reviewed

        This is preliminary study for development of specialized seismic performance evaluation and reinforce guidelines for piloti-type buildings. A residential Building with Pilotis was selected and the seismic performance evaluation was performed. The vulnerable parts of the piloti-type building for earthquake and the risks are verified. Finally, the necessity of evaluation and reinforce guidelines for the building with pilotis is presented.

        In this study, based on the Building Register, status and existing structural criteria of small-scale steel-frame building is reviewed. As a result, the accumulated small-scale buildings account for about 85% of cumulative entire building. Furthermore, since 2000, the small-scale steel-frame buildings account for about 55% of the small-scale buildings. In other words, the proportion of small-scale steel-frame buildings has been increased. However, the structural criteria is not only insufficient but also structure for some small-scale steel-frame buildings does not have a reference.

        Nonlinear seismic evaluation of RC building usually needs much time and man power, In this study, several computational modules were applied for evaluation of existing RC buildings. To investigate the effect of applied modules on time, seismic performance evaluation of example building was performed and the man power input was compared with conventional process.

        The natural period is generally used for monitoring the change in structural dynamic characteristics. It is legally obligated in Korea that seismic acceleration measurement system is installed in structures and measured data are transmitted. However there are some difficulties that the natural period is automatically analyzed by the structural acceleration analysis system. First, structural characteristics is changed by various factor such as plan shape, foundation type, structure type, size, and so on. Second, there are many factors ― machinery(basement), conditioning equipment(roof) ― causing noises near the measurement system installation point. Lastly, there are only sent some interval data by earthquake except ambient vibration to the analysis system. In this study to estimate the natural period, systemic approach is developed using simple evaluation formula from Korean Building Code-2009(KBC-2009).

        The purpose of this study is to identify the relation between predominant period of earthquake and acceleration characteristics of domestic high-rise buildings. First, we gathered and classified the real earthquake waves through response spectrum method. Second, we performed seismic response analysis and analyzed the result. The conclusion is as follows. In the case of predominant period range from 1.0 to 4.0 which has relatively less probability, the damage can be concentrated on buildings from 20 to 60 story.

        This paper deals with the response analysis of a floating building structure subject to both wind and wave loads. The hydrodynamic analysis is performed with sets of wind and wave loads selected from the 100-year return period concept to assess the effect of extreme ocean environmental loads on a floating building. From hydrodynamic analysis in time-domain analysis, it is shown that the responses obtained from the analysis in consideration of both wind and wave loads are far greater than those of wave load only.

        In this Study, lateral load resistance system is proposed to apply 12 story modular buildings to which X and inverted-V bracing is applied. The purposed system is analytically evaluated to determine the feasibility. As results, the inverted-V bracing is best suited for core system of 12 story modular building.

        This paper deals with steel braced frame as increasing the lateral strength and ductility in order to seismic retrofit of existing buildings. However, There is a problem in utilizing this method. It is the approach to provide an adequate connection between the existing RC frame and the installed steel braced frame. So, the designer must be confirmed if it satisfies the required performance or not.

        A mobile application to support field survey on earthquake damage buildings and to shorten the surveying time. The results from the mobile are transmitted to a data managing program. And it displays a surveyed-place and result and suggests statics. This system is expected to support local governments to effectively responds to earthquake disaster.
