앵커채널은 건축 외장재 등을 쉽고 안정적으로 고정하는데 적합하여 철근콘크리트 구조물의 연결 구성요소에 적용되고 있다. 선설치 앵커채널은 천공 중 콘크리트 보강재를 손상시키지 않으며, 현장용접 등에 의한 손상을 최소화 하는 장점이 있다. 본 연구에서는 원형앵커와 I형 앵커를 적용한 앵커채널의 인장 및 전단 거동을 실험적으로 평가하였다. 연단거리 및 피복철 근 및 앵커형상에 따른 앵커채널의 인장 및 전단강도 평가를 위하여 인장 및 전단실험을 실시하였다. 시험 결과, 원형앵커의 인장강도는 I형 앵커보다 증가하는 경향이 나타났다. 그리고 콘크리트에 매립된 앵커의 기하학적 형상, 피복철근 유무 및 연단거 리에 따라 비교한 결과, I형 앵커의 전단강도가 원형앵커보다 약 55% 낮은 것을 알 수 있었다.

경주지진과 포항지진으로 수도관 파열과 상수도관 누수가 보고되었다. 따라서 상수도 시설의 지진안전성 확보는 지속적이고 안정적인 물공급을 위하여 중요한 이슈이다. 상수도관은 주로 도로 하부나 일반 성토지반에 매설되어있기 때문에 지진파에 의한 변형뿐만 아니라, 지반의 영구변형, 사면의 불안정성 및 지반 액상화 등에 의한 배관의 굽힘 변형이 발생하게 된다. 이러한 배관의 굽힘 변형이 과도하게 발생 되면 배관 이음부 변위허용량을 초과하여 손상 및 누수로 이어지게 된다. 따라 서, 상수도관 이음부의 허용 변형각이 산출되어야 지진으로 인한 지반의 변형에 대하여 상수도관의 지진안전성을 정확하게 평가할 수 있다. 상수도 시스템은 현장 상황과 설치 여건에 따라 다양한 종류의 상수도관을 이용하고 있다. 그중 주철 상수도관은 오랜 기간 사용되고 개선되어 일반적으로 널리 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국주철관공업(주)에서 제작한 EZ-LOK 조인트가 적용된 주철 상수도관에 대하여 4점 굽힘시험을 수행하였으며, 매설된 주철 상수도관의 내진 및 내침하 설계기준인을 참조하여 지진안전성을 평가하였다.

본 연구는 안티노미가 내용과 형식 양면에서 ｢초자연의 노래｣전체 작 품을 관류함을 논술한다. 시인은 이 연작시에서 성의 문제를 자연계를 넘어 초자연적 영혼의 세계로 확대하였다. 가시적 대응구조인 남자와 여자의 결합에 천상의 합일을 대척점에 놓아 섹슈얼리티의 안티노미 구도를 갖춘 것이다. 예이츠가 제시한 종교적 안티노미는 이미 넓고 깊이 인식된 기독교 정신과 교리를 전혀 새롭게 사색하게 하는 일종의 도발이다. 그는 남성 위주의 성 삼위일체가 아닌 남녀와 자식으로 구성되는 양 성적 삼위일체를 주장하고, 사랑이 아닌 증오가 천국으로 인도할 것이라고 말한다. 문 명의 대립구도는 서양의 긴 문명사를 동양의 은자가 일갈해서 허무는 데 압축돼 있다. 성산 메루의 은둔자는 종교적, 철학적, 문명사적 혜안으로 모든 서양 문명의 쇠락을 설파한다.

The early works of W. B. Yeats are mainly rose poems influenced by the symbolist movement and his other works reflect the poet’s consciousness absorbed in occultism and mysticism. And some of them are filled with confessions and revelations of love expressed in somewhat dreamlike and vague longing. These tendencies generally show unrefined sentimental contents and loosely woven poetic patterns. But, nevertheless, his early love lyrics effectively appeal to our emotion and have been popular and widely accepted. Those early erotic verses, especially based on the traditional Western culture of courtly love, attain the beloved’s love in literature as it is not achievable in reality. The tradition of the courtly love lyrics has passed down from Dante through Rossetti to Yeats. Following the poetic tradition, Yeats often implies that the beloved is absent, unattainable, or even dead. Therefore, Yeats’s early love lyrics generate their own love out of such absence and death. Love and death are mingled together in Yeats’s early love lyrics.

이 논문은 욕망의 생성 혹은 욕망함과 욕망의 승화와 정화 그리고 이로 인한 내면적 갈등의 시화(詩化)에 초점을 둔다. 오직 상상으로 가능한 예이츠의 비잔티움은 영원하고 완전한 성도이고 속세의 현실로부터 안전한 안식처이다. 예이츠의 정신적 영원성을 상징하는 황금새는 현실의 모든 세속적 속성들을 거부하는 인공적 피조물이다. 그러므로 이 조형물은 오직 시인의 비전속에서만 존재한다. 영적 순례와 환생의 열망이 강해질수록 시인의 안타까운 욕망은 전복되고 단절된다. 비잔티움은 오직 시인이 욕망을 실현한 이상향으로만 상상되고 가정된다. 결국 비잔티움의 재현은 그 곳으로의 정신적 항해의 실현이 불가능함을 인식하고 있음을 함의한다. 그래서 역설적으로 욕망이 충족되지 않는 상황만 계속 발생한다. 비잔티움의 미적 재현은 예이츠의 전복된 욕망을 의미할 뿐이다.

예이츠는 서로 맞물려 순환하는 이중의 회전원추로 이천년 주기로 반복되는 문명의 부침을 보여준다. 융성하는 문명의 중심에 서 쇠락이 시작되고 몰락의 꼭짓점은 번영의 정점인 밑변과 맞닿아 있다. 한 주기가 그 종말에 이르면 새로운 신격이 출현하는 수태고지가 있다. 예이츠에게 수태고지는 신적 존재가 인간 역사의 순환에 현현하는 것이며, 신화와 종교뿐만이 아니라 예언 된 미래에 대한 선험적 인식이 융합된 광대한 시적 세계의 창작을 의미한다. 시인은 ｢레다와 백조｣,｢신의 어머니｣그리고 ｢재림｣에서 자신이『비전』에서 표명한 역사 주기와 수태고지를 원대한 상상력으 로 연결시키고 있다. 시인은 역사를 통찰해 문명의 흥망성쇠를 예술적으로 승화된 신인합일의 한 순간에 응집시키는 혜안을 드러낸다. 그러므로 이러한 예이츠 시 세계의 독해는 인류 문명사의 주기적 순환원리라는 거대담론에 대한 이해와 함께 사랑 과 탄생과 죽음으로 반복되는 소우주적 삶의 원리를 새로이 일깨워준다.

Somewhat comically-described everyday lives before the Rising have no direct connection with the event itself. Behind the images from superficial meetings with sham courtesy of characters follow violent associations of death implying diverse layers of change in the realms of history, politics, Irishness and individual lives. Yeats enumerates personal characteristics of revolutionary leaders in order to hint these characteristics alone can’t transfigure historical realities. He shows us that those acquaintances whom he occasionally came across before the uprising are not directly related to the heroic act. On the other hand, he also reveals that the underlying causes of the upheaval are the very simple everyday relationship. Above all, “Easter 1916” solves well the problem how a piece of poem acquires an impartial public voice out of secular opinions. This work is not embellished with symbolic abstruseness and therefore can be paraphrased into a comparatively easy prose writing. However, even its format change, if at all, doesn't quell its life force. The poet effectively evades a direct interpretation of the Rising that can help change the fate of the nation and so, he reconstructs the symbolic significance and context of the event into a literary masterpiece. In its form, the use of refrain emphasizing change shows directness and simplicity to conclude the verse. Moreover, Yeats frankly confesses that he was wrong in judging the victims’ heroic capability in the political aspect, but he doesn't make them appear pathetic poetic personae. The poem extols the heroic acts of the dead in the compressed verse and at the same time reproaches their decision to cast away their own precious lives. The refrain implies changes in the world caused by the Rising, political shifts in the international relationship closely linked with independence and colonial management, and the severance of lives of people with whom the poet meet routinely everyday. That is to say, it refers to the mythological transformation of the leaders before Irish people’s eyes as well as to the historical fact that British authority made them into corpses. ‘Change’ in the refrain evokes not only the tragic death of leaders in the uprising but the significance obtained through their death as well. In this context, a completeness of change out of the glorious sacrifice is also inferred. Thus, ‘change’ indicates the tragic stasis the leaders gained through the victimization of their own lives and reveals a poetic movement from this world to eternity. The poem sublimates the leaders as national icons permanently nesting in the bosom of their compatriots even though they lost their worldly lives. In this way, Yeats elegizes the victims by blending all the matters of history, politics and the nation together into a commemorative poem. This stream of thoughts triggered by the national tragedy creates a pivotal group elegy connoting deep insight into the universal death.

Recalling images from the past is one of Yeats's favorite poetic activities, especially in his old age. Many of his later poems are created on the basis of this technique, providing considerable information on his contemporary characters, events and other factors. In a sense, this kind of versification appears to mythify prominent historic figures in turbulent modern Irish history. In the poem "Municipal Gallery Revisited", Yeats sees his poetic personae as 'permanent or impermanent images', but ironically, they will be remembered permanently because of this work. They will also illuminate individual and national history dealt with in the poetic stanzas. Yeats's creative strategy is to enumerate a series of intense scenes that are worth remembering. To grasp a specific image in a particular moment is intended to reveal an absolute feature of a given character or a historical as well as cultural event. Through their own images, these people depicted in the poem are turned into symbolic characters. Greatness is impressed with a single scene and genuine perpetuity is uncovered with an instant reflection. In other words, a briefly described image is not just a section randomly isolated from a particular person's life. Rather, the image implicitly sums up and typically project an individual's complex personality in the poem, and in turn, on the reader's mind. The poet-narrator walks through the gallery, appreciating the portraits and other paintings on display and opens up his own creative world. Political characters in the beginning, then Hugh Lane and other Gregory people as a cultural stepping stone and finally the portraits of John Synge and Lady Gregory appear in sequence through the poetic work. Such a climactic approach stresses what the poet has in his own mind. Artistic ideals and literary colleagues who shared them with the poet are remembered and in the end, he himself go beyond the grave and sees his own self as an image already dead in an elegiac imagination. What he wants to record in a literary epitaph is gradually expressed along the long gallery of the museum. Eventually, the scenes composing this verse create a visionary gallery to light up the poet's real self.

One of Yeats’s distinguished later poems, “Lapis Lazuli”, which was inspired by a Chinese lapis lazuli carving he received as a gift from a young man of letters, declares the values of artistic activities as a creator as well as preserver of civilizations. In the poem, the poet as a poetic persona constructs vivid vision beyond the real world, breathes in the invisible fragrance that doesn’t really exist and appreciates the unheard melodies from the still object of art. The old ascetics imagined out of the carved still-life meditate upon the tragic scenes beneath their feet from the mountain they ascend towards. Fictitious creatures in a created world of sculpture stare on the real world with old wisdom transfiguring dread. Yeats had not presented all the significant experiences as successfully as he illustrated in this poem. He made the real fictional and in turns, turned the fanciful ideas into real things. The old glittering eyes of those Chinamen in the last stanza are more authentic than the hysterical women who complain with wrong, shrill and cracking voices in the first stanza. The roles of the poet also become mythic as the Chinese do who are distant, old, wise and gay in the hard stone. The poet penetrates into the domain of art work silently and looks back on a poor play of life from the gaiety of his own art. The description of the last stanza in a form of sonnet is much like the controlled carving of a sculptor. And it eternalizes artistic performances by transforming a visual art into a linguistic imagination, and thus by re-creating the scene depicted in the stone in a pleasant manner. As the artist imagines scent and music and movements in the given poetic object, the sculpture attains values stimulating observers’ perception permanently. The Chinese art work with two ascetics and one pupil carrying a musical instrument will continue to mutate in the mind of readers as it receives multiple senses through the poem.

우리나라의 연평균 지진발생 횟수는 꾸준히 증가하는 추세이다. 최근경주와 포항에서 규모 5를 초과하는 지진이 발생하여 상수도관의 피해가 다수 보고된 바 있다. 따라서 국내에서도 상수도관의 지진에 대한 대비가 필요 할 것으로 판단된다. 상수도관은 상수도 공급시스템에 있어 혈관과도 같은 중요한 시설로서 다양한 규격과 재질의 배관으로 구성된다. 그러므로 지진에 의한 상수도관의 손상은 식수공급, 화 재진압 등의 문제를 일으키게 되며, 인명 및 재산피해를 유발하게 된다. 하지만 국내에서는 시험 검증 및 경험에 의해 매립상수도관의 내진 성능이 평가된 예를 찾아보기 어렵다. 지진에 의한 상수도관의 손상은 액상화와 단층과 같은 지반의 변위지배적인 거동으로 인하여 발생한다. 지진에 의한 상수도관의 주된 파손은 배관 이음부에 집중되며 특히 직경 200mm 이하 배관이 위험한 것으로 조사되었다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 호칭 150mm의 클램프로 고정된 이음을 가지는 iPVC 매립 상수도관에 대하여 시험적인 접근으로 내진 성능 및 내침하 성능을 평가 하였다.

2009년 개소한 부산대학교 지진방재연구센터는 국내 최대 규모의 진동대 연구장비 보유기관으로 지진방재분야의 다양한 실험연구, 내진기술과 제품에 대한 공인시험 및 검증평가를 지원하고 있으며, 내진시험 방법의 표준화 연구 등 국가연구개발 과제의 수행, 민간기업 연구개발 지원과 컨설팅, 교육사업 등을 수행하고 있다. 연구역량 강화를 위해 국내 내진연구 분야 기관 및 전문가그룹과 협력체계를 구축하고 있으며, 일본의 E-Defense(NIED), 대만의 NCREE, 유럽의 JRC, 미국의 EERC 등 국외 연구기관과도 국제공동연구 네트워크를 구축하고 있다.

건축물의 보수 및 리모델링시 시공의 유연성과 용이성으로 후설치 앵커를 적용하고 있으나, 시공시간이 많이 걸리며 설계 자료가 없는 세트앵커를 적용하고 있다. 국내의 콘크리트 구조설계기준은 ACI 318을 준용하고 있어 동적 전단하중을 받는 앵커는 정적강도의 75%로 규정하며, 균열 및 비균열 콘크리트의 정적 전단강도는 동일하게 적용하고 있는 실정이다. 또한 미국(ACI 355.2), 유럽(ETAG 001)의 동적하중에 대한 전단강도는 지진모의 실험을 통하여 산출하고 있다.

세계적으로 지진과 같은 자연재해로 인한 대규모 피해가 증가하고 있다. 다양한 연구를 통하여 건물에 대한 내진성능은 확보되었으나, 비구조요소의 내진성능 확보 미흡으로 인하여 인명 피해 및 경제적 손실이 발생하고 있다. 비구조요소는 구조물에 설치되는 위치가 다양하고, 구조물의 위치에 따라 발생하는 진동특성이 다르므로 구조물의 위치별 응답스펙트럼이 필요하다. 또한 구조물의 형식과 구조물이 설치되는 위치에 따라 구조물에 발생하는 응답스펙트럼이 다르게 발생한다. 따라서 응답스펙트럼의 선정이 중요하므로 비구조요소에 작용하는 응답스펙트럼을 도출할 수 있는 명확한 방법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 응답스펙트럼을 도출하는 방법을 제안하였으며, 제안한 방법으로 국내에서 발생 가능한 지반응답스펙트럼과 구조시스템을 선정하여 구조해석을 수행하였다. 또한, 간단한 수식으로 응답스펙트럼을 도출하는 방법을 제안함으로서, 비구조요소의 내진시험에 필요한 응답스펙트럼을 생성할 수 있도록 하였다.

This study measured the in-plane and out-of-plane deflections of a beam using image processing technology. The deflections and rotation obtained from the vision-based measurement were compared with those from the traditional, current measurement method using three wired potentiometers. The results of this study indicated that the proposed vision-based measurement system was successfully applied to evaluating the out-of-plane deflections of a beam including the vertical in-plane deflection.

우리나라 정부는 글로벌 보안 추세와 전쟁 및 테러리즘에 대처하기 위해 컨테이너 보안조치(CSI, 24시간 규칙 포함), 종합인증 우수 업체(AEO) 등 다양한 보안 제도 및 보안 조치를 도입했다. 하지만 수출입 과정의 다양한 구성원들은 CSI, 24시간 규칙, AEO의 목적과 기능에 여전히 부정적이다. 이것은 보안 리스크를 수출입 과정의 장애나 방해 요인으로 여기고 있기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 이러한 리스 크를 규명, 측정, 평가하고 적절한 관리 방안을 제시함에 있다. 이를 위한 리스크규명과 리스크관리에 따른 성과 측정을 위해 선행연구 및 현장 조사를 바탕으로 설문조사를 진행했다. 설문조사를 통해 대상 리스크를 상대적인 값을 구분하여 Key Risk, Major Risk, Minor Risk로 나눌 수 있었으며 각 리스크를 대상으로 분산분석을 실시하여 집단별 관리정도의 차이를 알아낼 수 있었다. 마지막으로 회귀분석을 통해 리스크관리 정 도별 물류성과 검증을 실시하여 CSI 리스크관리가 물류 재무적 성과에 유의미한 영향을 미치며, CSI 리스크관리와 AEO 인증 리스크관리는 물 류 서비스 성과에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것을 알아낼 수 있었다.

Chelidonium majus (CM) contains several isoquinoline alkaloids that have been reported to have various biological activities such as anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antioxidant, immune-modulatory, and antitumoral. It has been reported that the extract of CM had an antioxidant potential, however the mechanism has not been verified. In this study, we found that CM extract activated FOXO3a. FOXO3a is a transcription factor that involved in various biological processes such as cell cycle arrest, apoptosis, DNA repair, and ROS detoxification. Transcriptional activities of FOXO3a were regulated by post-translational modifications including phosphorylation, acetylation, and ubiquitination. Protein level of FOXO3a was increased by CM extract. Promoter activities of FOXO-transcriptional target genes such as MnSOD, p27 and GADD45 were activated by CM extract in a dose dependent manner. In addition, protein level of MnSOD, major antioxidant enzyme, was increased by CM extract. Thereby ROS level was decreased by CM in old HEF cells. These results suggest that CM extract has an antioxidant activity through FOXO activation.
