In this research, I compared and analyzed the ‘factors of style’ that expresses and visualizes the ‘characteristics of characters’ and the characters from three movies each that was filmed with Kang Ho Song and Keong Ku Seol who acted in many movies both. As the result, for the factors for actors’ makeup design, since they have limited choices of textures, colors, and the range of changes, changing the tone of skin to light to dark implied the images of characteristics. Somewhat dark skin tone that was like tanned skin expressed the life style of the character who works for an active profession not for an intellectual position. For the factors of hair style, medium sized wavy hair that goes straight down forehead expressed the character’s familiar and informal personality while short cut sized all back style hair expressed confidence, sociality, and logical personality of the character. The actors’ costume was important to express the characteristics of characters such as changes of their mind, especially the costumes delivered symbolic meanings of the role of their social class, profession, and their financial state. In addition, there were common factors to create and design a character in terms of the changes of the actors’ body shape; when the actor acted the character who has conflicts inside and sarcastic personality, they lost weight on purpose while they gained weight and made a barrel shaped body to act the character who is positive in every occasion and does not realize the real world or who is greed.

Black has been the most important color of all since the ancient times when the recognition of black roused, as well as during most of the eras; and can especially be said as the main color which controlled the chronicles of fashion. The purpose of the study was to broaden the application of black color image make-up by inquiring into make-up design elemental characteristics of lines and textures, after classifying magazine illustrations and advertisement make-up images using black. The photos which made effective use of black among fashion illustrations, magazine advertisements after 2001 were classified in to each type, and make-up expression method and characteristics according to design element of each image type was analyzed. The conclusion of such study was the following. 'Erotic image' showed contrast effect between eye make-up and lip color by using pale tone or red color. 'Mannish image' emphasized form and texture of eyebrow by restraining the colors of eyelids with natural brown tone eye make-up; 'Modern image' expressed vague eyebrow to bring the sensation of the direction of eye shadow on eyelids and eye line as well as slant line to relief. 'Kitsch image' showed free and light imagery by creating unique hair style with various colors; expressing lips mostly with colors similar to skin tone or by restraining colors on lips. 'Decadence image' showed messy and foul sensation with unstandardized eye make-up and matt skin of shimmer, glossy and pale tone, also with black colored lips; 'Retro image' expressed reinterpretation of images from 1920～1960 to contemporary styles.

자외선 노출 증가로 인한 자외선의 유해성을 방지하기 위해 자외선차단제의 사용이 보편화되었다. 이러한 추세에 맞게 화장품 업계에서는 서로 다른 성분을 혼합하거나 천연물에서 유효성분을 추출하는 연구를 활발하게 진행하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 황금에서 추출한 천연성분인 황금추출물을 함유하는 자외선차단제품의 자외선 차단효과를 확인해보고자 하였다. 총 10명의 지원자를 대상으로 각 제품의 최소홍반량을 측정하였고 자외선 차단지수를 구하였다. 그 결과 황금추출물을 함유하는 자외선차단제품과 함유하지 않는 자외선차단제품의 자외선차단지수는 각각 34.52 ± 2.13, 32.67 ± 1.44였다. 두 제품 간의 자외선차단지수 차이는 통계적으로 유의하지는 않았지만, 인체를 대상으로 천연물 자외선차단제의 임상적 효과를 평가하였고 제품도포로 인한 이상반응이 없었다는 점에서 의미 있는 시도였다고 생각된다.
