Dipalmitoyl phosphatidyl choline and p-nitrophenyl palmitate were directly sonicated in acidic water for 6 minutes to give clear stock solutions. The catalytic hydrolysis of p-nitrophenyl palmitate was studied at 30-50℃ in the presence of unilamellar vesicle and mixture of unilamellar and multilamellar aggregates. The difference of reaction rate between unilamellar and multilamellar was observed. The rate of unilamellar reaction compared to the rate of mixture reaction showed more catalytic effect. The phase transition temperature of vesicle was measured at 37-44℃.

The distribution of light in a randomly scattering medium can represent problems found in many area. Particularly, in the clinical application of lasers for Photodynamic therapy(PDT) or in the fluorescence spectroscopy for biological tissue, turbidity plays a very important role. The influences of fluorophor, scatterer, and absorber in turbid material by light scattering were interpreted for the scattered fluorescence intensity and wavelength. The molecular properties have been studied by laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy in scattering medium as tissue. It has been found that the effects of optical properties in scattering media could be investigated by the optical parameters(μs, μa ,μt). Experimental and Monte Carlo simulation method for modelling light transport in tissue was applied. The experimental results using a randomly distributed scattering medium were discussed and compared with those obtained through Monte Carlo simulation. It'll be also important in designing the best model for oil chemistry, medicine and application of medical engineering.

Metachromatic properties of admixture of methylene blue(MB) and thionine in aqueous solution has been studied by fluorescence spectroscopy. In spite of nonfluorescence character has been MB itself, mixing MB to monomeric concentration of thionine, new coaggregation band has been formed in shorter wave length than fluorescence of thionine because of MB was redistributed to thionine aggregate. It suggested that coaggregate of MB and thionine were more tightly formed than the each dye aggregate.

It is the problem point of stability for this study to produce cosmetics and to occur in the circulation process, and specially in a case of alcoholic toilet water the precipitation materials to float on content materials has study on the solubility of perfume, and it has practiced in order to examine the problem point whether the raw materials of plastic vessel is or not harmful in content materials. In testing result, A study on stability of alcoholic toilet water is above all the precipitation materials which floats in content materials, and It is appeared by combination ratio to the raw materials of perfume, ethanol, solubilizer and refining water etcs, and in second the alkali degree which has gushed out of glass vessel can understand the thing that the change of PH is largely increased following to the passage of time, and in third the harmful component of content materials out of raw material in plastics vessel must certainly consider a stability and a safety in quality control of products.

Thermograms of methylene blue(MB) in L-α-lecithin vesicle and incorporated purple membrane vesicle(InPM) systems have been studied by photochemical reaction differential scanning calorimetry at 25~55℃. Phase transition temperatures of lecithin vesicle, purple membrane(PM), and InPM were found to be independent of illumination of light(436nm) at 39~40℃, but endothermic phase transition was found in InPM vesicle. In MB-InPM system, endothermic phase transition was found on unillumination of light at 40~42℃, but exothermic phase transition was found on steady illumination of light at 48~52℃. It was estimated that the light energy absorbed from MB on vesicular surface was transferred to PM, and the transferred energy was redistributed to hydrophobic site of membrane. Therefore, the exothermic phase transition was measured at high temperature because of the increased hydrophobicity of acyl chain.

The excess volumes of mixing of benzyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, halothane, and procaine in vesicle and suspensions of several lipids have been determined at 25℃ using a excess volume dilatometer. The potency of general anesthetics has long been known to be correlated with lipid solubility. Denaturations of the bacteriorhodopsin, which is a sole membrane protein in the purple membrane of Halobacteriun Halobium, were studied by UV/Vis absorption changes. The excess volumes of mixing of benzyl alcohol and procaine in egg lecithin were all found to be negative and this result was confirmed as Miller's supposition.

Metachromatic properties of admixture of thionine and methylene blue(MB) in aqueous solution and phospholipid bilayer membrane have been studied by absorption spectroscopy. When thionine and MB were mixed, new coaggregate has been formed because of MB was redistributed to thionine aggregate. In phosphlipid bilayer membrane system, the highly concentrated thionine was easily formed the coaggregation with MB moiety independent of MB concentration, and absorption band of admixture were more transferred to short wavelength than aqueous system. In monomeric thionine concentration, the coaggregation band was observed at the middle wavelength between the site of monomeric thionine and the site of dimeric MB in the presence of lipid bilayer membrane.
