        돌기해삼 Apostichopus japonicus는 주요 양식 대상 무척추동물로서 우리나라 연안 해역에 서 식하고 있다. 본 연구는 방류 방법에 따른 단기간의 생리학적 스트레스 정도를 평가하기 위하 여 heat shock protein 90 (HSP90) 유전자의 발현 변화를 실시간 정량적 중합효소연쇄반응법 으로 조사하였다. 어린 돌기해삼을 비닐봉지에 산소 포장하여 30분간 수송하거나 방류 해역의 간조기에 1시간 공기 중에 노출된 실험군의 HSP90 유전자 발현은 대조군의 HSP90 유전자 발현에 비하여 통계학적으로 유의미하게 증가하였다(수송 후 실험군 p=0.001; 간조기 실험군 p=0.032). 어린 돌기해삼을 방류 후 6시간까지 분석한 결과, 선상에서 씨뿌림 방식으로 방류된 6시간째의 개체 및 호스를 통과하여 수중으로 방류된 2~6시간째의 HSP90 유전자 발현율은 대 조군에 비하여 약간 감소하는 경향을 보였다(씨뿌림 실험군 p=0.069; 호스 방류군 p=0.093). 한 편, 잠수부에 의해 수중에서 방류된 어린 돌기해삼은 방류 후 시간이 경과할수록 HSP90 유전 자 발현율은 증가하는 패턴이 관찰되었다(p=0.061). 이상의 결과는 방류된 어린 돌기해삼의 단기간 스트레스 반응 연구와 효과적인 방류 방법의 개발에 HSP90 유전자 발현이 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 시사한다.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of guided reading on learners’ self-regulated reading ability. Guided reading is a teaching method that gives learners the opportunity to practice their own reading strategies. Eventually, learners become able to generate their self-regulated reading strategies. Guided reading is based on the gradual release of responsibility model (GRRM), which is closely related to the process of gaining an apprenticeship in constructivism. In order to study the effects of guided reading on learners’ self-regulated reading ability, two classes of 5th graders in a primary school in Seoul participated in this study. One class received guided reading instruction to practice their English reading strategies and the other class received English reading instruction according to the seventh English curriculum in Korea. The results of this study showed that the experimental group who received guided reading instruction based on GRRM achieved a higher score in the post test than the control group who did not receive guided reading instruction. They also showed more confidence in reading English.

        In this paper, the wind tunnel test was carried to investigate the behavior of buffer layer in turbulent boundary layer with variation of surface temperature and roughness. The results were as follows; 1. The velocity in turbulent boundary layer was increased when the roughness height within viscous sublayer thickness was increased. 2. When the surface temperature was increased, the density of air was decreased and the velocity in turbulent boundary layer was increased. Thus, the thickness of turbulent boundary layer was decreased. 3. When the roughness height and surface temperature was increased simultaneously, the thickness of turbulent boundary layer was decreased. 4. The decrement of the thickness of turbulent boundary layer was more effected by the increment of the roughness height rather than the increment of surface temperature. 5. In this study, it was found that the condition of the highest velocity n turbulent boundary layer was the temperature 333K and roughness #100.

        Purpose - This work analyzes, in detail, the specification of vector error correction model (VECM) and thus examines the relationships and impact among seven economic variables for USA - balance on current account (BCA), index of stock (STOCK), gross domestic product (GDP), housing price indices (HOUSING), a measure of the money supply that includes total currency as well as large time deposits, institutional money market funds, short-term repurchase agreements and other larger liquid assets (M3), real rate of interest (IR_REAL) and household credits (LOAN). In particular, we search for the main explanatory variables that have an effect on stock and real estate market, respectively and investigate the causal and dynamic associations between them. Research design, data, and methodology – We perform the time series vector error correction model to infer the dynamic relationships among seven variables above. This work employs the conventional augmented Dickey-Fuller (ADF) and Phillips-Perron (PP) unit root techniques to test for stationarity among seven variables under consideration, and Johansen cointegration test to specify the order or the number of cointegration relationship. Granger causality test is exploited to inspect for causal relationship and, at the same time, impulse response function and variance decomposition analysis are checked for both short-run and long-run association among the seven variables by EViews 9.0. The underlying model was analyzed by using 108 realizations from Q1 1990 to Q4 2016 for USA. Results – The results show that all the seven variables for USA have one unit root and they are cointegrated with at most five and three cointegrating equation for USA. The vector error correction model expresses a long-run relationship among variables. Both IR_REAL and M3 may influence real estate market, and GDP does stock market in USA. On the other hand, GDP, IR_REAL, M3, STOCK and LOAN may be considered as causal factors to affect real estate market. Conclusions – The findings indicate that both stock market and real estate market can be modelled as vector error correction specification for USA. In addition, we can detect causal relationships among variables and compare dynamic differences between countries in terms of stock market and real estate market.

        본 연구는 모바일의 장점이 영어어휘 학습에 새로운 환경을 제공해 줄 수 있을 것으로 보고 초등영어학습자들을 위한 모바일 게임용 영어어휘 학습 목록과 함께 그 적용 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해서, 첫째, 영어교육 과정의 초등 필수 어휘목록, 초등 영어교과서 어휘, 그리고 초등 영어단어집으로부터 초등학교 5, 6학년 학습자들의 어휘학습에 적합한 기본 어휘목록을 선정하였다. 둘째, 기존에 상용화 중인 모바일 게임을 분석하여 영어어휘 학습용 게임으로 적합한 것을 선정하였다. 마지막으로, 선정된 게임에 구축된 어휘목록을 적용해 개발하였다.

        본 연구는 온라인 MMOPRG가 지니고 있는 다양한 언어적 환경을 살펴보고, 이를 영어 교수 활동에 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 교수방법을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 위해, 지금까지 외국어교육에서 활용되어 왔던 다양한 CALL(Computer Assisted Language Learning) 어플리케이션의 특징을 고찰하고 MMORPG가 기존의 CALL 기술의 흐름에서 어떤 위치를 차지하고 있는지 살펴보았다. 이후, ‘군주 글로벌’을 대상으로 MMORPG가 가지고 있는 언어적 환경을 살펴보았다. 그리고 영어교육에서 활용되는 교수방법인 협동학습, 과제중심학습, 문제해결학습을 중심으로 이 특성들을 어떻게 활용될 수 있는지 살펴보았다.

        The purpose of the study is to explore whether input enhancement as a subtype of FonF can be proven feasible and productive as part of normal classroom work and whether it can assist in learners` long-term progress in English. 80 freshmen who enrolled general English at a Korean university were divided into an experimental group and a control group and read the text in one of two conditions: no enhancement, relative-clause enhancement. The results demonstrated the translation task scores obviously showed the effect of input enhancement. The enhanced text of relative-clause led to learning relative-clause as a target linguistic structure. Second, the effect of relative-clause enhancement text was significant on reading comprehension test as well as on translation task. The interesting result was that the effects on relative-clause learning and reading comprehension were retained in the follow-up posttest conducted four weeks later. The study proposed that learners` linguistic developmental system have been affected by the enhanced relative-clause text generated by learners` need and that their interlanguage system be reconstructed.
