        The objectives of this study was to examine experimentally the microexplosion phenomena of single droplet W/O(water-in-oil) type emulsified fuel. Also, measured the combustion characteristics of single droplet emulsified fuel for microexplosion phenomena in atmospheric pressure condition. The larger quantity of adding water makes microexplosion phenomenon with higher intensity of sound level, because larger water droplet has better coalescence for emulsified fuel. The small quantity of adding water makes puffing with lower sound level intensity. In latter period of extinction, large size droplet of the emulsified fuel breaks down rapidly to small size droplet, and microexplosion phenomenon occurs with multi step combustion.

        We estimated on the stability of W/O type emulsified fuel using by capacitance sensor, so it concluded the following conclusions. For the first 24 hours, prepared emulsified fuel reveals phase separation ratio of 5%, maintains stable status which verifies the stability of emulsified fuel. Adding more water increases the phase separation ratio rapidly, and adding more surfactant displays stable emulsification. Adding water causes larger size of water droplet diameter, and adding surfactant mixture causes smaller size of water droplet diameter. In conclusion, the size of W/O type emulsified fuel water droplet diameter is directly related to the volume of surfactant, and density of water droplet diameter changes thedistribution according to water contents.

        We designed capacitance sensor in order to examine characteristics of W/O type emulsified fuel, so it concluded the following conclusions. The capacitance value of emulsified fuel, using with capacitance sensor, increases as water content increases due to the coalescence. When surfactant increases, the capacitance value decreases, the condition of W/O type emulsified fuel was maintained stably. There was revealed the capacitance value difference of W/O type emulsified fuel in in according to water content. We checked the phase separation of emulsified fuel with the capacitance value difference. The surfactant(HLB=5.4) had better stable condition than surfactant(HLB=4.3). Also, we confirmed that two mixture surfactants were better than one surfactant.

        크루즈 관광 산업은 모든 관광 산업 중 세계적으로 가장 빠르게 성장하고 있는 관광산업임에도 불구하고, 지금까지 합리적 크루즈 경영의사결정에 관한 학술적 연구가 매우 미진한 상황이다. 이 논문은 크루즈 경영에 관한 기초적인 전략적 의사결정이라고 할 수 있는 크루즈 운항일정계획을 다루고 있다. 이전에 개발된 한척의 크루즈선박에 관한 모형의 제한점을 극복하여, 여러 척의 크루즈선박으로 구성된 크루즈 선대를 일반적으로 다룰 수 있는 최적화 의사결정계획 모형을 개발하였다. 후보운항일정계획들 간의 복잡성을 체계화하기 위해 선박별 후보운항일정계획 네트워크를 제안하였으며, 후보운항일정계획 네트워크 전체를 통합하는 정수계획모형을 개발하였다. 공개된 크루즈 운항일정 자료들에 바탕을 둔 가상 사례를 활용하여 개발된 모형을 실험하였다.

        본 연구에서는 지역적 문화적으로 특색을 달리하는 크루즈 모델 개발의 한 방안으로서 미래지향적 주거개념의 크루즈선 설계모델을 제시하였다. 크루즈선 설계를 위해서는 조선공학, 건축디자인, 경영경제학 등의 복합지식이 요청되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 선박의 하부구조 결정을 통해 초기 선형을 도출한 후 기본설계에 들어가는 기존의 조선설계 방법과는 반대로 상부구조의 건축디자인 작업이 먼저 착수되는 Top-Down 방식의 접근방법을 채택하였다.

        This paper presents a decision making model for the cruise ship management. A network based optimization model has been developed for a single cruise ship operation. It gives optimal itinerary patterns over the planning period for the cruise ship managers wanting to maximize profit from the cruise ship operation. A network solution method to find the optimal solution is also developed. This network model can be equivalently transformed into a linear programming model, which makes the implementation of the model quite practical however complicated the given set of possible itineraries may be. The ship scheduling network developed in this study can also be used as a general framework to describe all possible cruise ship itineraries the cruise ship manager can figure out.

        In the transportation literature, many useful decision making models for ship routing and ship scheduling have been studied. But the majority of these studies are on industrial carriers, bulk carriers, or tankers. It is quite recent that a few optimization models have been developed for liner fleet routing and scheduling problems. However there have been few academic studies on decision making models for the routing or scheduling problems of passenger ships in spite of their economic importance in the entire shipping industry. The purpose of this study is to develop analytic decision making models for ship routing and scheduling for the passenger ship fleet. This study gives two optimization models, one is a linear programming model and the other a goal programming model. These two models are solved easy by commercial linear programming softwares and suggest optimal ship routing plans and many other useful implications for passenger ship fleet managers.
