        본 연구는 생리적, 환경적 변화에 따른 명태 Gadus chalcogrammus 피부계의 변화 연구를 위 한 기초 연구로서 피부계의 구조, 구성 세포 종류 및 조직화학적 특징을 기재하였다. 측선은 전반부가 완만한 곡선형이었으며, 중반부터 후반부까지는 직선으로 나타났다. 피부는 상피층과 진피층으로 구성되며, 상피층은 다층으로 상피세포, 점액세포, 곤봉세포로 이루어져 있다. 상피 세포는 표면층의 편평형 세포, 중간층의 입방형 세포, 기저층의 원주형 세포로 구성된다. 상피 층의 두께는 122.9 μm, 체장에 대한 상피층의 두께 비율은 0.03%였다. 단세포선인 점액세포와 곤봉세포는 주로 상피층의 표면층과 중간층에 분포하며, 점액세포는 산성 당단백질의 점액물 질을 함유하고 있었다. 상피층에서 점액세포와 곤봉세포의 분포비율은 각각 21.3 (± 7.0.)%와 4.0 (± 1.0)%였다. 진피층은 치밀결합조직으로 주로 콜라겐 섬유로 구성되며, 섬유세포, 혈관, 색소포, 비늘이 관찰되었다.

        연구는 갈치 Trichiurus lepturus의 성 성숙과 생식생물학적 기초 정보를 제공하기 위해 수행하 였다. 난자형성과정 동안 난모세포와 핵의 크기는 증가하였으나 핵에 대한 인의 비율은 감소 하였다. H-E 염색 결과, 세포질의 염색성은 호염기성에서 호산성으로 변하였다. 난황형성개시 기 난모세포의 난경은 약 63.2 (±12.7) μm였다. 세포질에서는 호산성의 난황핵이 관찰되었다. 성숙기 난모세포의 난경은 216.6 (±24.7) μm였으며, GVBD (germinal vesicle breakdown)가 관 찰되었다. 완숙기 난모세포의 난경은 317.9 (±80.9) μm였으며, 방사대의 두께는 4.2 (±1.7) μm 였다. 난모세포의 발달형태는 난군동기발달형에 속하며, 난황 축적은 대부분의 경골어류와 마 찬가지로 외재적 방법과 내재적 방법에 의한 것으로 판단되었다.

        연구는 기름가자미의 성비, 군성숙도 및 주 산란기에 관한 정보를 얻기 위해 수행하였다. 성비 (암:수)는 1:0.54 (n=189:103, 암컷 64.7%)였으며, 전장이 증가함에 따라 암컷의 비율이 높아지 는 경향을 보였다. 난모세포 발달패턴은 동일 난소 내에서 여러 단계의 난모세포군이 확인되 는 난군동기발달형이었다. 로지스틱 회귀모델에 의해 분석된 50% 성숙 전장은 암, 수 각각 28.51 cm과 30.49 cm였다. GSI는 암, 수 각각 4월과 3월에 가장 높았으며, 주 산란기는 4-5월 로 분석되었다.

        The spotted wing drosophila(Drosophila suzukii)is one of the serious fruit pest that has a wide range of fruit crops like blueberries, cherries and grapes. It came up the larvae cause dagmage by feeding on the pulp inside fruits and berries and spotted wing drosophila also has a adversely affect export to Austrailia and New zealand as a quarantine pest. This study conduct to survey occurrence of drosophila spp. from 2016 to 2018 on harvest period of grapevine in vinyard of Okcheon ,Yeongdong and fruit packing place for export to New zealand and USA. Vinegar and wine mixture was used to attract fruits flies. We also investigated to what color is the best stimulus to catch a vinegar flies. Our result shows that significant differences were observed in total flies trapped in red and black colors. This study will contribute to future research for monitoring and control drosophilid flies.

        This study was evaluated individual growth and hematological changes of young starry flounder, using hyperpigmentation marks on the blind side of body after feeding extruded pellet (EP) and moisture pellet (MP) for 45 days. As a result, the fish grew up to 220.1±47.8 g in the EP treatment and 224.7±42.4 g in the MP treatment, so the weight gain was significantly higher in the MP treatment (74.6±17.3%) than in the EP treatment (63.7±16.9%) (P<0.05). Osmolalities of flounder after 45 days culture were similar between the treatments (P>0.05), showing values of 359.8±4.2 mOsm kg-1 in the EP treatment and 358.5±6.2 mOsm kg-1 in the MP treatment. Similarly, other blood chemistry indicators such as sodium, chloride, total protein, albumin, glucose, total cholesterol, BUN, creatinine, ammonia, triglyceride, cortisol, GOT, GPT and hematocrit showed no differences between the treatments. However, the free fatty acid concentration was significantly higher in the MP treatment than in the EP treatment (P<0.05).

        The silkworm (Bombyx mori), as an industrial insect, possesses a high economic value. Casual discrimination and accumulated genetic information of silkworm varieties are essential ground for the practical utilization and long-term conservation. In this study, nine available microsatellite loci were successfully genotyped from ~50 silkworm strains preserved in Korea. According to genotyping analysis, we obtained 3 ~ 16 alleles per locus, with an average of 7.4, the observed heterozygosity ranging from 0.04 to 0.98, and the polymorphic information content (PIC) ranging from 0.06 to 0.88, revealing that some loci are highly variable. Among 54 strains 13 strains were casually identified by the presence of 17 strain-specific apomorphic alleles. Furthermore, 30 among remaining strains contained strain-specific allele combinations that are also apomorphic to each strain, allowing us to discriminate each of these from other strains by genotyping of multiple loci. These results collectively suggest that the silkworm microsatellite DNA is actually and potentially important molecular marker for the discrimination of the silkworm strains that are preserved as hundreds in Korea, as more loci are genotyped.

        Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) is a key neuropeptide regulating reproduction in humans and other vertebrates. Here, we evaluated the reproductive control system mediated by GnRH in the Pacific abalone Haliotis discus hannai. We cloned a prepro-GnRH cDNA (Hdh-GnRH) from the pleural-pedal ganglion (PPG) in H. discus hannai, and analyzed its spatiotemporal gene expression pattern. The open reading frame of Hdh-GnRH encodes a protein of 101 amino acids, consisting of a signal peptide, a GnRH dodecapeptide, a cleavage site, and a GnRH-associated peptide. This structure and sequence are highly similar to GnRH-like peptides reported for mollusks and other invertebrates. Quantitative polymerase chain reaction demonstrated that Hdh-GnRH mRNA was more strongly expressed in the ganglions (PPG and cerebral ganglion [CG]) than in other tissues (gonads, gills, intestine, hemocytes, muscle, and mantle) in both sexes. In females, the expression levels of Hdh-GnRH mRNA in the PPG and branchial ganglion (BG) were significantly higher at the ripe and partial spent stages than at the early and late active stages. In males, Hdh-GnRH mRNA levels in the BG showed a significant increase in the partial spent stage. Unexpectedly, Hdh-GnRH levels in the CG were not significantly different among the examined stages in both sexes. These results suggest that Hdh-GnRH mRNA expression profiles in the BG and possibly the PPG are tightly correlated with abalone reproductive activities.
