        This study has attempted to verify the methods of analyzing green space by selecting real space and by applying a new index to classify green space type according to the published results (Song, 1998). Most of studies that have been done so far had biased points of views by focusing on the utilizing aspects of green space, by quantifying the surface amount of green space, and by lacking the distinction between bare space and green covered space. Thus, this study tried to establish a new index for green space by taking the presence or absence of green covered space and the characteristics of human utilization into consideration. The new index that classified green space into three categories such as green space for existence, green space for utility, and green space for both existence and utility was applied for analyses in combination with the ratio of green space, the ratio of green covered surface, and the amount of green volume. And it was verified as an useful index to understand the environment of green space. The results showed that higher ratio of green space was not corresponding to higher ratio of green covered space for a given green space located at a primary school site. In addition, green space area and green covered area was not proportional with the amount of green volume. These results showed that green space panning should be combined with afforestation plan to secure more pleasant environment of green space. It was expected that these results would effectively contribute to the stereoscopic analysis in the environment of green space and the demand of requiring various green spaces in a limited land.

        수종간 독립성 검정결과 상수리-산초나무 외에는 지역별로 유의한 종간 상관이 서로 다르게 나타남으로써 수종간 생태적 지위의 공유관계는 수종간의 친화력뿐만 아니라 생육환경에 의한 영향도 큰 것으로 해석된다. 환경요인을 독립변수로 한 군집분석결과 물푸레나무는 화살나무, 노간주나무, 떡갈나무, 산초나무, 개옻나무 등과 같은 집단(물푸레나무-개옻나무 그룹)으로 분류되었으며, 음나무는 느릅나무, 당단풍, 병꽃나무, 물갬나무 등(음나무-느릅나무 그룹)과, 고로쇠나무는 두릅나무, 거제수나무, 서어나무 등과 같은 집단(고로쇠나무-거제수나무 그룹)으로 분류되었다. 환경요인과 군집간의 상관분석결과 지형, 해발고, 사면방향, 경사, 출현종수 등의 환경요인 중 지형과 해발고에 따른 영향을 많이 받는 것으로 분석되었다. 고로쇠나무-거제수나무 그룹은 해발고가 높은 계곡부~사면하부에 주로 분포하는 것으로 나타났으며, 음나무-느릅나무 그룹과 물푸레나무-개옻나무 그룹 수종들은 지형적인 적응력이 높아 넓은 면적에 산발적으로 분포하는 것으로 분석되었다.

        실 세계 공간에 가상 물체를 사실적으로 합성하기 위해서는 공간 내에 존재하는 조명정보 등을 분석해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 카메라에 대한 사전 교정(calibration)없이 카메라 및 조명의 위치 등을 추정하는 새로운 조명공간 재구성 방법이 제안된다. 먼저, 어안렌즈(fisheye lens)로부터 얻어진 전방향(omni-directional) 다중 노출 영상을 이용해 HDR (High Dynamic Range) 래디언스 맵(radiance map)을 생성한다. 그리고 다수의 대응점으로부터 카메라의 위치를 추정한 다음, 방향벡터를 이용해 조명의 위치를 재구성한다. 또한 대상 공간 내 많은 영향을 미치는 전역 조명과 일부 지역에 국한되어 영향을 주는 방향성을 갖는 지역 조명으로 분류하여 조명 환경을 재구성한다. 재구성된 조명환경 내에서 분산광선추적(distributed ray tracing) 방법으로 렌더링한 결과로부터 사실적인 합성영상이 얻어짐을 확인하였다. 제안된 방법은 카메라의 사전 교정 등이 필요하지 않으며 조명공간을 자동으로 재구성할 수 있는 장점이 있다.

        디지털 TV 방송은 기존 아날로그 방송에 비해 해상도나 음질 등이 매우 뛰어나고 홈쇼핑, 홈뱅킹, 인터넷 검색, 재택근무 및 VOD(video on demand) 등의 멀티미디어 기능을 제공할 수 있는 등 많은 장전을 가지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 디지털 TV 서비스 전에 본질적인 지역적 전파환경의 분석이 필요하며, ETRI 모델을 적용하여 부산지역에 대한 전파모델을 적용하여 그 제한성을 분석하고자 한다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 디지털 TV 신호가 고품질을 유지할 수 있도록 하기 위하여 산악지역과 고층빌딩이 많은 부산지역의 전계강도를 측정하였다. 본 논문에서는 TV 전파모델을 기준으로 전반적으로 기준모델에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과보다. 낮은 결과를 갖지만 분포 패턴은 비슷하게 나타남을 알 수 있었다. 이론치와 실측치를 비교한 결과 평탄한 지형에 대해서는 비슷한 결과를 가지지만 도심 밀집지역 및 산악 지형에 대해서는 상당한 차이를 가지는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 ETRI 전파모델 및 자유공간에 대한 전파전파의 이론적 모델링이 부산 지역에 대해서는 적합하지 않는 것으로 판단되었다.

        In this study, the actual states and cases utilizing lake dykes were investigated focusing on large-scale reclamation project in domestic and instances in advanced foreign countries. The attitudes investigation concerning lake dykes utilization was performed to residents in-and-around Saemangeum. According to the research result, in domestic the utilization of lake dyke have not attracted attention because maximizing land use, which was the primary purpose of reclamation project at the early stage, has been emphasized so far. The advanced foreign countries, however, not only make use of farmland, but also develop activities employing lake dykes. According to the result of an analysis for local residents' attitudes, they want to be used Saemangeum lake dykes as a multifunctionality facilities performing a role of environment friendly equipment as well as a breakwater. They also require further investigation and to be introduced new system far utilizing as a multifunctionality facilities. Recently, green tourism is getting attention more and more owing to laying stress on balanced development of country and improvement on life quality of rural residents and launching five days in duty. It is believed that on this favorable trend lake dykes an be employed as a primary tourism resource if its utilization is developed actively.

        The objective of this study is to propose the whole idealistical process for ecological area zoning based on the natural environment analysis. In order to draw out the ecological zoning, this study used the remote sensing, GIS method and field survey. As a result of this study showed that it was helpful in establishing development direction of Midong Mountain, minimizing the impact on environment by drawing out a development suitable land based on the objective standards and data and also preventing the misconduct development in advance.

        This study was carried out for reading the change of local meteorological environment according to dam construction of Nakdong-river using meteorological data analysis, and modeling. The meteorological data analysised are mean temperature, foggy day, precipittion day and sunshine time. As the result of analyzing meteorological data of before and after the construction of dam in Andong and Hapchon, some discrepancy were observed by month because the lakes have different effect on the region as wind field. The common phenomenons that are revealed after dam construction are increase of foggy day and decrease of sunshine time.

        Sustainable development has been the key concept, both in economic policies and in environmental management. On the basis of an systems ecology perspective, this study suggests the sustainable development of Korea's natural environment and economic activity using the EMERGY evaluation. The total EMERGY use(7,730 E20sej/yr) in Korea is 81 percent from imported sources, fuels and goods and services. The ratio of outside investment to attracting natural resources is already large, like other industrialized countries. Continued availability of purchased inputs at a favorable balance of EMERGY trade, currently about 2.85 to 1 net EMERGY, is the basis for present economic activity and must decrease as the net EMERGY of purchased inputs including fossil fuels goes down. EMERGY yield ratio and environmental loading ratio were 1.23 and 20.30, respectively. The population level is already in excess of carrying capacity. Its carrying capacity for steady state on its renewable sources is only 2.2 million people, compared to 45.9 million in 1997. EMERGY sustainability index is therefore less than one, which is indicative of highly developed consumer oriented economies. Until now the development of a country has been achieved by the economic growth, but it can be sustained in the long run by the use of renewable resource systems, the efficiency of energy usage, and the transformation of the social-economic structure based on an ecological-recycling concept.

        Today the pedestrian-related problems a key subject requiring the attention of the traffic engineers for improving the transportation system. Particularly in urban and CBD locations, the pedestrian presents an element of sharp conflict with vehicular traffic. Therefore pedestrian movements must be studied for the purpose of providing guideline for the design and operation of walking transportation systems. This paper is to address the characteristics of walking transportation in a big city. Especially the focuses are emphasized on the ratio occupied by pedestrian traffic among the whole unlinked trips in a city and walking time. The data for analysis are collected in Seoul metropolitan city through sampling 1,006 citizens. Compared with other similar research works this paper utilized diversified tools to acquire more useful results. Finally, policy directions for pedestrian environment improvement were suggested.
