        본 연구에서는 연령별 수분함유량, 유분함유량 및 경표피수분함유량에 대한 데이터를 비교 분석함으로써연령별 피부 특성 차이를 규명하여 향후 화장품 산업개발에 도움을 줄 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다.피험자 남녀 총 638명을 대상으로 볼 부위의 수분함유량, 코 끝 부위의 유분함유량, 볼과 전박부위의 경표피수분손실량을 측정하였으며, Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (version 19.00; SPSS Inc.,Chicago, IL, USA) 프로그램을 사용하여 분석하였고 피험자에 대한 정보뿐 아니라 피부 수분함유량, 유분함유량, 경표피수분손실량의 피부 측정치 결과를 평균 ± 표준편차로 나타내었다. 그 결과 볼 부위의 수분함유량은여성이 남성보다 높았으며, 연령이 높아질수록 수분함유량이 증가하였다. 또한 코 부위의 유분함유량은 남성이여성보다 높았으며 연령이 낮아질수록 유분함유량이 증가하였다. 볼 부위의 경표피손실량은 여성이 남성보다높은 반면, 전박 부위의 경표피손실량은 남성이 여성보다 높았다. 이상의 연구 결과로 추후 화장품 산업에서 연령별, 성별 기초화장품 개발 등에 도움을 줄 수 있는 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이라 사료된다.

        본 연구는 재중(在中) 한국인 유치원 교사들이 교직생활에서 경험한 교육과정 운영, 유아들의 생활을 질적으로 탐구하고 분석하는데 목적이 있다. 이에 따라 본 연구는 중국 산동성 칭다오(靑島)시 C한국학교 병설유치원 교사 3명과 K한국국제학교 부설유치원 교사 1명의 면담, 교사저널, 연구자의 약기, 기타 자료를 수집하여 질적으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 재중 한국인 유치원 교사들이 경험한 교육과정 운영은 본국과 연계된 교육과정으로 가르치기, 전문성 개선의 한계를 느끼는 외로운 타국살이, 타국에서 한국의 새싹들을 가르치는 교사이면서 애국자로 나타났다. 재중 한국인 유치원 교사들이 경험한 유아들의 생활은 유아들에게서 느껴지는 자연스러운 이중문화, 변해가는 유아들에 대한 안타까움, 유아들에게 정체성 확립시켜 주기로 나타났다. 또한 재중 한국인 유치원 교사들이 경험한 학부모와의 관계는 학부모들과 함께 소통하기, 때로 어려운 가정과의 연계, 학부모들에게 받은 감사 그리고 응원으로 나타났다.

        This paper has a aim at comparison of ways of thinking between Korean and Chinese through analysing especially deictic words in two languages.Deictic words are appropriate materials for comparison of way of thinking, because they are extremely context-sensitive and reflect well human life. They were divided into 3 categories in this study, which are personal deixis, time deixis and place deixis. After this study we can say that there are more consideration for hearer in Korean than in Chinese. That characteristic is a important evidence to understand Korean and Korean's way of life.

        This study explores the way in which Korean parents involve in the development of their children's English language while they stay in the U.S. to improve the children's English abilities. 10 parents participated in this study through free discussion, E-interview, E-journal, and in-depth interview. The research finds that the parents play three roles involved with their children's English language development. First, the parents, as helpers, participate in their children's English study in direct or indirect ways. Second, they, as mediators, help their children build the relationship with their peers and teachers. Lastly, they place an emphasis not only on second language learning, but on their mother tongue to preserve their children's identities and to help their children continue to study in their own country, Korea. When they are ready to return to Korea, the parents are concerned about their children's continuous practice in English. The results of the study will offer pedagogical implications to parents who have children planning to study abroad and teachers to instruct students who finish studying abroad.

        Recent studies on sentence processing show that late learners of a second or foreign language, those who begin learning after puberty, differ from native speakers (and early L2 learners) as to how they comprehend complex sentences in real time. One construction in which this difference has been discovered is in the processing of non-local dependencies where constituents are displaced, such as in sentences containing wh-dependencies: The nurse who the doctor argued that the rude patient had angered ___ is refusing to work late. This paper presents a brief overview of recent findings investigating this issue. To this end, differences and similarities between L1 and L2 speakers in employing lexical and syntactic information to resolve these types of dependencies are discussed. In particular, the L2 learners appear to associate the fronted wh-phrase directly with its lexical subcategoriser, without postulating an intermediate gap position. Our result is argued to render support to the hypothesis that L2 learners under-use syntactic information in L2 processing, which causes them difficulty in processing the L2 input in a native-like fashion.

        The purpose of the present study is to examine the use of cohesive devices, especially conjunctions, in oral narratives spoken by adult Korean EFL learners and compare the results with those by English native speakers in the same experimental setting. The data consist of a total of 83 narratives spoken by 43 Korean EFL learners and 40 English native speakers, who were each asked to tell a brief story based on a sequence of 12 pictures in accordance with a given title. Our hypothesis is that learners will have difficulty in using cohesive devices such as conjunctions appropriately; More specifically, learners will underuse and misuse conjunctions in discourse due to the lack of their language proficiency. The results show that except for differences in some of the conjunctions, the learners were strikingly similar to the native speakers in the inventory and distribution of conjunctions they used, although there were some misused errors. The learners had a great tendency to overuse coordinate conjunctions, especially but and so, whereas they tended to underuse temporal subordinate conjunctions such as while and as. However, the overuse of initial subordinate clauses by the learners suggests that they haven not quite acquired the uses of conjunctions in discourse.
