The packed cell volume(PCV) of Korean native goat, volume percentage of red blood cell in whole blood, was reshuffled of 20%, 40% and 60% using autoplasma, and erythrocyte sedimentation rate was measured in Westergren tubes at room temperature () and low temperature (). The sedimentation rates of red blood cell obtained are summarized as follows. The erythrocyte sedimentation rates of Korean native goat are accelerated more at high temperature than low temperature. The erythrocyte sedimentation rates of reshuffled Korean native goat upon time are almost linear for several hours. The erythrocyte sedimentation rates of Korean native goat are settled faster at low PCV than higher PCV, i. e., there is a reverse relationshif between the erythrocyte sedimentation rate and packed cell volume.
This research was conducted to investigate the interrelationship among methods of injection of PMSG-hCG to the number of ovulated eggs, percentage of matured oocytes and in vitro fertilization using out-bred ICR mice. The results obtained are as follows, 1) The optimurn dose was 5 IU for both PMSG and hCG, while the number of ovulated eggs was 428, percentage of M II was 73% and in vitro fertilization rate was 81 %. 2) The optimum injection interval of PMSG-hCG was 48 hours, while the number of ovulated eggs was 48 8, percentage of M II was 80% and in vitro fertilization rate was 81%. 3) The optimum time for collecting eggs was between 16 and 18 hours after hCG injection, while the numbers of ovulated eggs were 448, 427 and 437 in 14,16 and 18 hours after hCG injection respectively, and percentages of M II were 79 and 81 %, and in vitro fertilization rates were 81 and 80% in 16 and 18 hours after hCG injection, respectively. 4) The repeat of superovulation decreased with the number of ovulated eggs, percentage of M II and in vitro fertilization rate, than in control. But it was recovered by increasing the repeat interval.

We present recent data of absolute measurements of flux emmitted in the visible continua of some galactic Wolf-Rayet stars, carried out by means of a two-channel scanner built up cooperatively by the Observatoire de Lyon and the Laboratoire d'Astronomie Spatiale. Our measurements lead to the determination of stellar angular diameters which enable us to compute log L∗/L⊙ L∗/L⊙ and to locate the WR stars in the HR diagram: The WR stars are cooler than the zero age main sequence (ZAMS) and the WN7, WN8 types appear more luminous than other subclasses. The stellar wind terminal velocities, V∞ V∞ , deduced from the empirical relation of the effective temperatures by Underhil1(1983) and V∞ V∞ adopted from the work of Willis(1982) show about 2,000km/s. We derived the rate of mass loss for the program stars from the formula, ˙ M=ε(Teff)L/V∞⋅c M˙=ε(Teff)L/V∞⋅c by using the obtained effective temperatures, luminosities and V∞ V∞ in this work. Their values range from ˙ M=1.4×10−5 M˙=1.4×10−5 to ˙ M=5.8×10−5 ˙ M⊙/yr M˙=5.8×10−5M˙⊙/yr .
Eight Korean native black goats were used, of blood was collected from the Jugular vein into heparinized tubes a week interval. The heparinized blood was centrifuged for separation to blood plasma and corpuscles. The hematocrit, per centage of blood that is red blood cells, was reschuffuled of 10 %, 20 %, 30 %, 40 % and 50 % using blood plasma, 0.9 % NaCl solution and 5.4 % dextrose solution. The sedimentation rates of red blood cell obtained at and are summarized as follows. 1) The sedimentation rates of red blood cell were more increased by lower PCV%, i.e. there was a reverse relationship between the sedimentation rates and PCV% at any condition of these experiments. 2) The RBC were sedimented the most quickly in the NaCl solution and slower in the plasma compare with the dextrose solution at the same PCV%. 3) There was no temperature effect on the sedimentation rates between the two groups of and (at PCV 20% and 10%), even though the temperature difference is .
This study was carried out to investigate the inte actions between recipients and embryos to compare pregnancy rates in bovine embryo transfer, such as synchrony and stage of embryos, synchrony and quality of embryos, synchrony and side of uterine horn, and preservation time and stage of embryos. Fifty-two embryos were transferred by surgically to 42 Holstein heifers, 3 Holstein cows and 7 Korean native heifers from Feb., 1985 to June, 1986. The results were as follows: 1. In the trial of interactions between synchrony and embryo stage, recipients synchronired from- hours to + 12 hours in synchrony and embryos from morulac stage to advanced blastoctyst stages showed reason able pregnancy rate. 2. Excellant (A) and good (B) grade embryos showed good pregnancy rate, 81.8% and 73.3% respectively, but fair (C) grade embryos showed poor, 25% only at the same boundary of recipient synchrony. 3. More recipients had corpus luteum on the right ovary than the left, and also had better pregnancy rate (26/32 vs 13/20,81.3% vs 65%). 4. A good pregnancy rates (over 60%) were obtained with the embryo transferred 17hrs after flush at room temperature or field condition in culture medium.
