This study addresses the influence of corruption on firm innovation in Chinese market. Using both the logit model and a fuzzy-set analytical approaches based on a new official sample of 2700 privately-owned and 148 state-owned firms over the period of 2011 to 2013, the study add further evidence to growing methodological consideration regarding complexity theory. The results show a significant negative effect of corruption on firm innovation, additional, firm sale and education and market have a positive bearing on innovation activity. However, the government ownership firms have a negative and significant effect on innovation. The findings have important implication for theory, practitioners and policy-making and shed light on a new perspective to focus on the long run effect of corruption.
The management of the New Service Development (NSD) process remains a key research priority for service organizations. As a diverse mix of team members with different skills, perspectives and backgrounds participate in development teams and close collaboration is required among them, conflicts are likely to arise among team members. Different team members perceive conflict episodes in a different way and often embrace different conflict management behaviours and orientations (e.g. competing, avoiding) to deal with them. This study recognises NSD team as a complex system, through which individual members’ conflict management style choices enable team developmental dynamics, which sequentially lead to intragroup conflict resolution. Although a lot of work exists around the role of individual members’ conflict management styles, little research scrutiny is attracted on how teams solve intragroup conflicts and even limited empirical evidence is available regarding the linkages between individual and team factors can contribute to resolve intragroup conflicts. The present study taking under consideration the causal complexity, asymmetry and idiosyncratic nature of NSD conflict resolution, utilizes Complexity theory and leverages the advantages of fs/QCA in order to shed light on the NSD intragroup conflict resolution. Data was collected from employees in several service industries such as advertising, financial, insurance, consulting, IT services and telecommunications providers. The results confirm the major tenets of Complexity theory highlighting that any attempt to examine complex phenomena, such as NSD conflict resolution, as simple ones, based on symmetrical methodological approaches, may lead to simplistic and distorted explanations. In fact, the results demonstrate that there is not a ‘one fits all’ solution in order to solve NSD conflicts. Different facets for both the conflict-management styles and team dynamics act in various combinations in order to predict high scores in NSD conflict resolution.
The importance of interaction between surface water and groundwater has been increased for the understanding and analyzing hydrological cycle in natural stream system. In this study, the interaction between surface water and groundwater is qualitatively analyzed by using a field measurement of water level and temperature in Guamcheon stream, South Korea. The results show that temperature measurement is necessary to assess the interaction between surface water and ground water not only water level. The interactions between surface water and groundwater in short stream can be analyzed by using this method and the accuracy of stream-groundwater interactions can be enhanced in the concept of hydrological analysis by adding the temperature variation data. Consequently, this method based on field measurement can be expected as a basic procedure for qualitative study on stream-groundwater interactions.
고속도로의 터널구간은 일반구간과는 다른 주행특성(속도, 교통량, 밀도 등)을 가지게 되고 이에 따라 고속도로 일반부에서 터널진입 전과 후에 운전자 행태가 변하는데, 가장 대표적인 예가 속도의 감소 현상이라 할 수 있다. 하지만, 이러한 다양한 요인들 중 현재까지 연구의 진행 추세는 도로의 용량, 속도감소 측면의 정량적인 부분에 초점을 맞춘 연구들 위주로 진행되고 있는 것이 현실이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 터널의 다양한 여건을 고려할 수 있는 구간을 대상으로 설문조사와 설문결과 분석을 통해서 터널구간 속도감소에 영향을 미치는 정성적 요인들을 알아 보았다. 분석 결과 최근 증가 추세인 장대터널과 관련된 터널 자체의 형상(차로폭, 갓길폭, 터널길이)에 대한 요인이 터널 내부 속도감소에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 터널입구 보임여부와 같은 시각적 환경이 속도감소의 영향요인으로 나타났으며 터널 내부의 조명밝기에 따라 속도변화가 나타나는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구결과를 활용하여 고속도로 터널부 설계관련 기술개발 및 서비스개선을 위해 지속적인 투자가 이루어질 것이라 판단된다.
The research shows misuse cases of quantitative regression analysis used in QC circle activity and six sigma movement which presents guidelines of correct use for quality practitioners. Additionally, the qualitative regression analysis that responses nonconforming ratio of variable y, is reviewed based on misuse cases for proper use by practitioners in the field. In most cases, there are frequent errors that involve the correlation analysis or ANOVA, regardless of using quantitative regression analysis. In addition, qualitative regression analysis for the nonconforming ratio that has dependent variable of discrete and categorical data, is often applied with quantitative regression and result in ineffective quality improvement.

이 연구에서는 기존의 야외 지질 학습 사례를 분석 종합하여 통합 문제 제시 단계 -답사 개괄 단계 -현장 집중지도 단계 -탐색 단계 -1차 결론 발표 단계 -재탐색 단계 -조별 토론 단계 -정리 단계 -답사 요약 단계의 새로운 야외 지질 답사 수업 모형을 제안하였다. 그리고 이 수업 모형을 적용한 후 학생들의 반응을 질적 분석하여 야외 지질 학습을 실시하려는 지구과학 교사들을 위한 구체적인 지도 방안을 찾아보았다. 학생들은 통합 문제와 답사 개괄을 통해 지질 답사의 방향과 전체적인 주제를 미리 알고 야외 지질 답사에 참여하게 된 것을 매우 높이 평가하였다. 또한, 지질학적 지식이 부족하고, 야외 지질 답사의 경험이 적은 까닭에 현장 집중 지도 내용이 답사 활동에 많은 도움이 되었다. 그리고 관찰 내용 요약 후 그 내용을 근거로 1차 결론을 발표하는 과정을 참신하게 생각하였으며 ,조별 토론을 통해 서로 다른 의견을 나누며 최종 결론을 도출하는 과정을 긍정적으로 평가하였다. 지도 교사는 조별 모임을 통해 통합 문제 제시와 답사 개괄을 충분히 실시하여 서로 친숙한 분위기를 형성할 수 있도록 도와주어야 한다. 또한 충분한 현장 집중 지도 내용과 전달 방식을 준비하고, 사전 연구 과정에서 통합 문제를 해결하려는 관점에서 상세한 노두별 지도 지침을 마련해 두어야 한다. 그리고 결론 도출 과정을 세밀히 파악하여 추측에 의한 결론이 나오지 않게 지도해야 하며, 토론을 올바른 방향으로 이끌어 갈 수 있도록 지질 현상에 대한 학생들의 오개념을 사전에 숙지하고있어야 한다.

본 연구의 목적은 1.5 T와 3.0 T 비 인두 MRI 검사 후 SNR과 CNR을 평가하여 최적의 Tesla를 알아보고자 하였다. 총 30명의 PACS로 전송된 Nasopharynx MRI검사 환자를 무작위로 선택하여 본 연구에 적용하였다. 데이터 분석에 사용된 장비로는 1.5 T, 3.0 T MRI 장비를 이용하였다. 분석 방법으로 T1 WI과 T1 지방 소거 영상에서 각 Tongue, Spinal Cord, Masseter Muscle, Fat, Parotid Gland, Tumor의 조직에 대하여 일정한 관심영역을 설정하고 SNR와 CNR을 평가하였다. 6가지의 조직에 대하여 정량적 분석으로 SNR과 CNR을 평가하였고, 정성적 분석으로 균일한 지방소거, 자화 감수성 인공물에 대한 영상의 질을 4점 척도로 측정 하였다. 본 데이터 분석의 통계적 유의성은 독립표본 T검증과 Wilcoxon Signed Ranks사용하였으며, p 값이 0.05이하일 때 유의성을 두었다. 본 실험에 대한 정량적 평가 결과 T1 WI 과 T1 지방소거를 1.5 T와 3.0 T 를 비교했을 때 T1 WI에 대한 3.0 T가 평균 SNR(124.75±), CNR(118.91±)로 정량적 분석에서 SNR과 CNR값이 1.5 T평균 SNR(73.15±), CNR(60.59±)에 비해 높게 나타났다. 또한 T1 지방소거에서 3.0 T가 평균 SNR(10 1.10±), CNR(81.24±)로 1.5 T의 평균 SNR(78.47±), CNR(65.70±)에 비해 높게 나타났다. 정성적 분석으로 균일한 지방소거, 자화 감수성 인공물에 대하여 4등급으로 평가했을 때 1.5 T 장비가 높은 점수를 얻었다(p <0.05). 결론적으로 두 기기에 대한 데이터 분석 결과 정량적 평가부분에서는 3.0 T 장비가 높게 나타났고 정성적 평가 부분에서는 1.5 T가 높게 나타났다. 따라서 각 장비에 대한 장단점을 고려할 때 상호보완적으로 장비를 선택하여 환자에게 적용한다면 최적의 정보를 제공할 것이라고 사료된다.
The quality control of natural products is principal key to guarantee the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Clinical Practices (GCP) for the functional food, pharmaceuticals and cosmeceuticals in the industry. In this study, we examined the quantitative analysis of berberine as marker substance of Coptidis Rhizoma by high performance liquid chromatography-photodiode array detector (HPLC-DAD). The HPLC method was validated and met all the requirements for the quality control analysis recommended by FDA and ICH. The berberine was separated on a Xterra C18 column (5 ㎛, 4.6 × 250 ㎜) using mobile phase consisting of distilled water and acetonitrile with KH2PO4 (3.4 g) and Na2SO4 (1.7 g). Calibration curve of berberine has been estimated (y = 42293.47x-41589 with the correlation coefficient 0.9999). The amount of berberine was calculated as 4.25%. And berberastine, palmatine, columbamine, jatrorrhizine, epiberberine, berberine and coptisine in the Coptidis Rhizoma were identified by high performance liquid chromatography - electrospray ionization-mass spectrometer (HPLC-ESI-MS) method.
해양에서의 크기 5mm미만인 미세플라스틱은 선박・어업에 사용하는 도료, 타이어, 어망 등에서 발생한다. 이렇게 발생된 미세플라스틱은 우리나라 서남해안에 발달된 개펄에 침적할 것이며, 개펄에 침적된 미세플라스틱은 개펄 생태계에 영향을 미칠 것으로 사료된다. 본 연구에서는 김 양식장과 낙지 채취 개펄을 대상으로 깊이별로 미세플라스틱의 정성・정량 분석을 실시하였다. Table 1은 검출된 미세플라스틱의 결과이다. 김 양식장 인근의 개펄에 비해 낙지 채취 개펄에서 섬유상물질이 다량 검출되었고, 낙지 채취 개펄에 비해 김 양식장 인근의 개펄에서 비교적 많은 양의 타이어 분진이 검출되었다. 이와 같은 결과는 김 양식장과 낙지 채취 개펄에서의 생산활동의 차이에서 유래된 것으로 사료된다.
Plastic accounts for 60 ~ 80% of all marine litter. Microplastics are plastic pieces that are 5 mm or less in diameter. They can be classified into primary and secondary microplastics. Primary microplastics arise from the manufacturing, and secondary microplastics arise from plastic decomposition by various factors. Both types of microplastics are not only widely distributed in the oceans, but also can adsorb persistent organic pollutants (POPs) and metals. They can be mistaken for food by marine organisms, and the resulting bioaccumulation can have a significant impact on additional ecosystems. In this study, quantitative and qualitative analysis methods for microplastics from the literature were compared and summarized.
Background : Dibenzocyclooctadiene lignans are secondary metabolites present abundantly in the fruits belonging to the genus Schisandra. According to previous studies, Schisandra lignans exhibit anti-inflammatory, anti-cancer and anti-diabetic properties, as well as an inhibitory effect on platelet aggregation. Therefore, establishing the Korean “Omija” (Schisandra chinensis) as a lignanrich source, in addition to identifying and quantifying the lignans, is extremely valuable.
Methods and Results : Dibenzocyclooctadiene lignans were analyzed with liquid chromatography using diode array detection/ mass spectrometry, from methanol extracts subsequently identified by a constructed chemical library of 50 lignans. A total of 27 components of lignan including gomisin S were identified, of which schisandrin, gomisin A, gomisin N, deoxyschisandrin, γ- schisandrin, and schisandrin C were identified as the major components in the Korean Omija, Schisandra chinensis. These compounds were divided into two groups, S-biphenyl and R-biphenyl based on the configurations of the stereoisomers structures with contents of 661.7 and 1350.1㎎ per 100 g dry weight, respectively. The total lignan content averaged 2011.4㎎ per 100 g dry weight, of which schisandrin and gomisin N comprised the majority (771.8 and 420.5㎎ per 100 g dry weight respectively).
Conclusions : Lignans which are present in high quantities in the ripe fruit of Schisandra chinensis are important functional compounds that play a major role in the prevention and treatment of human diseases.
To evaluate expression level of HMW-GS protein qualitatively and quantitatively, we separated glutenin fractions and conducted two-dimensional electrophoresis (2DE) in 32 cultivars of Korean wheat for the use of as the basis of wheat breeding. The average spot number of HMW-GS in all Korean wheat cultivars was 11.78 which included 1.31, 5.53 and 4.94 to Glu-A1, Glu-B1 and Glu-D1 loci, respectively. Cultivars harboring 1, 2* subunits had many spots more than ones harboring null allele in Glu-A1 loci because there is no difference of spots between Glu-B1 and Glu-D1 loci. In total spot number of HMW-GS, the highest one was Jokyung as 18 and Dahong the lowest as 7. When the Korean wheat cultivars were compared with the Chinese spring in the average relative expression level, Korean one’s were lower as 0.44. Especially, Gobun was the highest as 1.11 and Eunpa was the lowest as 0.24. Also we investigated phylogenetic relationship based on both frequency of HMW-GS spots and quantification value of each spot to all HMW-GS spots. As a result, Korean the varieties of Korean wheat could be classified into six groups.
LMW-GSs represent approximately 1/3 of the total wheat gluten fraction, which have not been widely studied, even though they are important in the context of wheat end-use quality. In this study, we report on the qualitative and quantitative analysis of LMW-GS in korean wheat cultivars by 2DE in 32 cultivars of Korean wheat for the use of the basis of wheat breeding. We firstly identified spots corresponding each of Glu-3 alleles. The 2DE results for each cultivar will be used as reference map or protein marker discriminating wheat cultivars, wheat and rice, imported and Korean flour. Unexpectedly, five LMW-GS spots were found to be expressed at a common position in hexaploid wheat cultivars, and these spots might play something in glutenin biosynthesis. Total spot numbers were expressed variously between 20 and 10, and average spot number was shown 17.12. The average number of spots in Glu-A3, Glu-B3 and Glu-D3 were 3.0, 4.56 and 2.96 respectively. When the Korean wheat cultivars were compared with the Chinese spring (1.0) in the average relative expression level, Korean one’s were lower as 0.67. Especially, Gobun was the highest as 1.32 and Baekjoong was the lowest as 0.24. Also we investigated phylogenetic relationship based on frequency of HMW-GS spots and quantification value of each spot to all LMW-GS spots. As a result, the varieties of Korean wheat could be classified into five groups.
