        There has been a recent increase in the interest towards founding companies and in line with the South Korean Government’s policy on start-up support, discussions are rife about the effect of entrepreneurship on the management and performances of these companies. To enhance the competitiveness of SMEs, it is expedient to acquire and deploy consistent entrepreneurship, differentiate corporate resources, ensure the appropriate utilization of resources and the integration of such factors in response to the changing environment. This research examines relationships among entrepreneurship, three components of corporate capabilities, dynamic capability and technical performance based on resource-based view and the dynamic capability theory. The authors also investigate the moderating role of corporate life cycle. To test the hypothesis, we conducted a survey on 352 technologies –innovative SMEs located in South Korea via professional research institutes. The findings confirm the hypothesis that SMEs’ entrepreneurship has a positive effect on three kinds of corporate capabilities (e.g., marketing, R&D, operations capability), and it had a positive effect on dynamic capability, whiles dynamic capability also had an influence on technical performances. The findings also confirmed the hypothesis that corporate life cycle moderates the relationship between dynamic capability and technical performances respectively. The research implications for both practitioners and academicians are discussed.

        The cultural industry is treated as the sunrise industry in modern society. It has taken an increasing role in promoting the economic growth. Due to this, this paper attempts to explore the dynamic relationship between cultural industry and the economic growth. On the grounds of Cobb-Douglas production function, the cultural industry is regarded as a determinant such as the labor input and the capital input to impact the economic growth. Meanwhile, the quarterly datum form 2000-Q1 to 2017-Q4 are employed to perform an empirical analysis via the vector error correction model. The GDP is treated as an independent variable. The input of capital, the input of labor and the total input of cultural industry are treated as dependent variables. Furthermore, a menu of statistical approaches such as the co-integration test and the impulse response function will be used to testify the dynamic relationship between cultural industry and economic growth. Via the Johansen co-integration test, the results report that the cultural industry has a obviously positive effect on economic growth. Through the vector error correction estimation, the results also report that the cultural industry also has a significantly positive effect on economic growth, but less than that of the Johansen co-integration test. This paper provides a view that the cultural industry is a kind of a determinant to promote the economic growth. Therefore, the China’s government should pay much attention to the cultural industry construction.

        교량 구조물 거동의 건전성 평가는 하중재하-처짐의 정적특성과 충격계수와 고유진동수 등의 동적특성으로 평가하는 것이 일반적이며, 이를 수치해석적 방법으로 비교 분석하는 것이 합리적인 방법이라 할 수 있다. 사용하중에 대한 거동은 탄성영역에서 이루어지므로 실물 구조체와 수치해석의 결과는 일체성을 보이지만, 동적특성의 경우 특히, 진동학적 분석에 있어서는 구조물의 기하형상과 사용재료의 이질성 에 기인하여 실물 구조체의 결과와 다소 차이를 보인다. 이러한 오차를 수렴시키기 위하여 본 연구는 실물 모형체의 실험결과를 바탕으로 다양한 수치해석적 모델을 제시하고 그 예민도를 분석함으로써, 교량 구조물 평가를 위한 실용적인 모델링 기법을 도출하여 안정적인 예비 해석 결과를 제공하는데 그 목적이 있다. 프리스트레스트 콘크리트 구조물의 긴장재를 환산단면으로 치환한 모델을 기반으로 긴장재의 탄성적 특성을 반영한 모델과 수정된 탄성계수를 적용한 모델의 고유진동수가 실물 모형체의 그것과 가장 유사한 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.

        In this study, vibrational characteristics of upright breakwater under wave condition is numerically analyzed. Firstly, finite element model of upright breakwater which composed by structure-foundation system is established. Dynamic behavior of the upright breakwater’s structure-foundation system is analyzed. Secondly, numerical model for wave field is created. Wave pressure is extracted to apply for the upright breakwater model as the excitation force. Both of design wave and small wave are considered. Thirdly, the vibrational responses are extracted from the upright breakwater model and there model parameters are extracted. Finally, the effect of the wave condition on vibration characteristics of upright breakwater is examined.

        An advanced lumped-mass stick (LMS) model is developed to improve the dynamic response accuracy of the conventional LMS model. In order to display the performance of the advanced LMS model, a four-story frame structure is prepared and performed a shaking table test using several earthquake ground motions. The frame structure consists of stainless steel and mass plates. The horizontal natural frequencies of first to fourth mode are 1.86Hz to 48.83Hz. In this paper, the seismic responses resulted from the advanced LMS model of the structure are compared with the results of the shaking table test.

        There are several techniques to build the lumped-mass stick model, which are tributary-area based conventional model, frequency adaptive model, and advanced model combining the conventional and frequency adaptive models. The present study is to compare the seismic response accuracy of the models including FE model. The target structure is a nuclear containment structure and 45 earthquake ground motions are considered for the seismic analysis. The results show that the advanced lumped-mass model provides similar and more consistent responses to the FE model, compared to other models.

        This study examined the validity of the level of the earthquake load defined in the Korea specification for the tower crane which utilized the equivalent static load. The specification on the structure and performance of tower crane defined that the earthquake load should be considered as a horizontal load corresponding to 15 % of a crane self weight. However, this definition did not reflect the vibration characteristic including frequencies of the tower crane. Thus, it is necessary to carry out a study on the earthquake behavior of tower cranes that reflected the dynamic characteristic of earthquake loads and tower cranes. it was thought that the level of earthquake load defined in equivalent static analysis for the tower crane did not reflect the structural behavior of the tower crane correctly by overestimating the response from tower crane.

        이 논문은 압축강도 수준(100, 140, 180 MPa급)에 따른 HPFRCC의 동적충격 인장강도를 평가하였다. 먼저 100, 140, 180 MPa급 HPFRCC의 압축응력-변형률 관계를 분석한 결과 압축강도는 각각 112, 150, 202 MPa로 나타났으며, 압축강도가 높아짐에 따라 탄성계수도 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 100, 140, 180 MPa급 HPFRCC의 정적 인장강도는 각각 10.7, 11.5, 16.5 MPa로 나타났으며, 압축강도가 높아질 수록 인장강도도 증가하는 경향을 나타내었다. 반면 100 및 140 MPa급 HPFRCC에서의 인장강도 및 에너지 흡수능력은 압축강도 수준에 따라 큰 차이를 보이지 않았다. 이는 시험체의 규격 및 강섬유의 배열에 영향을 받은 것으로 판단된다. HPFRCC의 동적충격 인장강도를 평가한 결과, 변형률 속도가 10-1/s에서 150/s로 증가할수록 모든 HPFRCC의 인장강도와 동적증가계수는 증가하는 경향을 보였다. 한편 동일한 범위의 변형률 속도에서 HPFRCC의 압축강도가 낮을수록 인장강도에 대한 DIF가 높게 측정되어 효율적인 측면에서는 100 MPa급 HPFRCC가 가장 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 높은 수준의 인장성능이 요구되는 경우 높은 압축강도를 가지는 HPFRCC를 사용하는 것이 유리하며, 폭발과 같은 고속변형률 속도에서 보다 효율적인 접근을 위해서는 목표 압축강도에 근접한 HPFRCC를 사용하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 판단된다.

        In this study, the static and dynamic displacement responses due to vehicle loadings were measured by Video Gauge System(VGS) technique. The displacement response data were compared with data obtained from laser displacement sensors(PSM)&electronic distance measurement device(EDM) so that the static and dynamic behavior of the bridge under vehicle loadings was examined. The static and dynamic loading test for an earth-anchored suspension bridge, Nam-hae Bridge&Gwang-an Bridge, was performed using vehicles. The accuracy of the deflection measurement using the VGS in the load of the actual bridge was verified.

        Nuclear power plants in operation are composed of many electrical equipment, and various types of safety related components are installed in the electrical equipment. These internal components are repeatedly replaced due to aging and their performance improvements during the operation of nuclear power plants. Replacement of safety-related shall demonstrate that no malfunction occurs even under amplified seismic load at the level where the components are mounted on the electrical equipment. Therefore, it is necessary to derive the accurate seismic load from the level where the target components are mounted on electrical equipment through the equipment seismic analysis. To perform seismic analysis of electrical equipment, dynamic characteristics should be extracted through in-situ test and utilize to improve the electrical equipment seismic analysis model. In this study, in-situ test of typical NPP’s electrical equipment is performed to derive a natural frequency and mode shapes in the horizontal direction.

        An advanced lumped-mass stick (LMS) model introduced in this paper is to overcome the disadvantages of the conventional lumped mass stick model, such as frequency error and low accuracy of dynamic responses. In order to show the performance of the advanced lumped-mass stick model, the experimental test using shaking table is conducted, considering a scaled four-story frame structure. The material of the frame model is stainless and the total mass of the model is about 39kg. The displacement and acceleration responses resulted from the advanced LMS model are compared with those of experimental results, including the response results of the conventional LMS model of the frame model.

        본 논문에서는 시간에 따라 연속적으로 변하는 3 × 3 행렬의 회전 성분을 효율적으로 추출하는 실용적인 방법을 제안한다. 이는 물리기반 동적 변형을 위하여 널리 사용되는 공회전 유한요소법이나 형상 맞춤 변형에서 매우 중요한 기술이다. 최근 극분해를 사용하는 시간 독립적인기존 방법들과 달리 회전행렬 추출을 물리적으로 공식화한 후, 점진적 회전 표현법을 이용하는반복법이 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 점진적 회전 벡터의 최대 회전각을 π/2 이내로 제한함으로써 반복 횟수를 줄이는 최적화 기법을 개발한다. 사실적인 동적 변형 시뮬레이션에서는 충분히 작은 시간 간격을 사용하기 때문에 이러한 제한은 실용적으로 문제가 되지 않는다. 다양한실험을 통해 제안된 방법의 효율성 및 실용성을 보인다.

        2016년 경주지진 이후로 국내에서도 본격적으로 건축물의 지진대책 강구가 시급한 시점에서 국내에 널리 보급되어 있는 R/C 건축 물의 효율적인 내진성능 평가 및 내진보강을 포함한 내진대책을 위한 기초적인 자료를 얻고자, 2016년 경주지진에서 지진피해를 받은 R/C 저 층 학교건축물(M학교)을 대상으로 지진피해도구분판정법을 이용하여 잔존내진성능과 지진피해정도를 평가함과 동시에, 부재수준의 비선형 동적해석을 수행하여 지진피해정도와의 상관관계를 검토하였다. 지진피해도구분판정에 의한 손상도-I로 분류된 기둥은 2개, 손상도-Ⅱ가 1 개, 손상도-III으로 분류된 기둥이 3개로 각각 평가되어, 최종적으로 평가한 내진성능잔존율(R)은 88.2%로 피해분류는 소규모 피해로 판정되 었으며, 또한 비선형동적해석 결과 1층 X방향의 최대응답을 나타낸 기둥의 휨변위는 0.7 mm, 전단변위는 6 mm로 전단균열은 발생하였지만, 전단파괴는 발생하지 않았다. 경주지진에서 지진피해를 입은 M학교의 지진피해가 1층의 X방향에 집중되어 있다는 사실, 휨균열보다는 전단 균열이 발생하였다는 사실을 고려한다면 본 연구에서 수행한 비선형동적해석 결과는 2016년 경주지진에서 지진피해를 받은 M학교의 지진피 해상황을 잘 반영하고 있다고 사료되며, 국내 기존 저층 R/C 건축물의 효율적인 내진성능 평가 및 내진보강을 포함한 내진대책을 위한 기초적 인 자료로서 활용가능하다고 사료된다.

        본 논문에서는 수중운동체 중 하나인 잠수함의 코닝타워(Conning tower) 위치 및 제어판 형태에 따라 4가지 타입별로 나누어 회 전팔 시험(Rotating arm test)을 실시하였다. 또한 본 RA 시험을 통하여 유체력 미계수를 추정하였으며 수평면 운동에 대한 동적 안정성 (Dynamic stability)을 평가하였다. 특히, 자유수면의 영향으로부터 자유로운 심도비(Depth ratio) 6.0에서 힘과 모멘트를 측정한 후, 다중회귀 분석을 이용하여 유체력 미계수를 추정하였다. 최종적으로 선형유체력 미계수를 이용한 수평면 동적 안정성 지수를 산정함으로써 잠수함 타 입별 특성이 동적 안정성에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다.

        The purpose of this study is to get a more precise frequency of hollow core slabs by comparing the observed values from the actual free vibration tests and the predicted values based on the analysis model. The actual free vibration tests were carried out in the construction field using Ω shaped hollow core slabs. Modal analysis is conducted based on the analysis model that takes into account the differences in section properties due to void parts of slab. The differences between the predicted values based on the modal analysis with analysis model and the measured data from the actual tests range from 2~7%. This study demonstrates that the analysis model that incorporates void parts of slab could be used in evaluating serviceability of hollow core slabs with reasonable accuracies.

        In the case of fluid storage structure, hydrostatic pressure acts on the structure due to fluid surge during an earthquake. At this time, hydrodynamic pressure of the fluid charge not only by the strength of the earthquake but also by the sloshing height of the fluid. Factors affecting the change of load include the size, width and height of the fluid storage structure and height of fluid, time-history shape, etc. This paper wanted to identify the relationship between the earthquake shape and fluid free surface shape. The sloshing height measured the height of the fluid by applying earthquake to a tank whose width 500mm and comparison of the experiment and analysis. In addition, the shape of the fluid free surface was measured while varying the shape of earthquake and effective of the shape of earthquake of the fluid was analyzed.

        The tracking filter plays a key role in accurate estimation and prediction of maneuvering the vessel’s position and velocity. Different methods are used for tracking. However, the most commonly used method is the Kalman filter and its modifications. The α- β - γ filter is one of the special cases of the general solution provided by the Kalman filter. It is a third order filter that computes the smoothed estimates of position, velocity, and acceleration for the nth observation, and predicts the next position and velocity. Although found to track a maneuvering target with good accuracy than the constant velocity α - β filter, the α - β - γ filter does not perform impressively under high maneuvers, such as when the target is undergoing changing accelerations. This study aims to track a highly maneuvering target experiencing jerky motions due to changing accelerations. The α - β - γ filter is extended to include the fourth state that is, constant jerk to correct the sudden change of acceleration to improve the filter’s performance. Results obtained from simulations of the input model of the target dynamics under consideration indicate an improvement in performance of the jerky model, α - β - γ - η algorithm as compared to the constant acceleration model, α - β - γ in terms of error reduction and stability of the filter during target maneuver.

        The Formal Safety Assessment (FSA) is a structured and systematic methodology developed by the IMO, aimed at assessing the risk of vessels and recommending the method to control intolerable risks, thereby enhancing maritime safety, including protection of life, health, the marine environment and property, by using risk analysis and cost-benefit assessment. While the FSA has mostly been applied to merchant vessels, it has rarely been applied to a DP vessel, which is one of the special purpose vessels in the offshore industry. Furthermore, most of the FSA has been conducted so far by using the Fault Tree Analysis tool, even though there are many other risk analysis tools. This study carried out the FSA for safe operation of DP vessels by using the Bayesian network, under which conditional probability was examined. This study determined the frequency and severity of DP LOP incidents reported to the IMCA from 2001 to 2010, and obtained the Risk Index by applying the Bayesian network. Then, the Risk Control Options (RCOs) were identified through an expert brainstorming and DP vessel simulations. This study recommends duplication of PRS, regardless of the DP class and PRS type and DP system specific training. Finally, this study verified that the Bayesian network and DP simulator can also serve as an effective tool for FSA implementation.

        “Tracking” here refers to the estimation of a moving object with some degree of accuracy where at least one measurement is given. The measurement, which is the sensor-obtained output, contains systemic errors and errors that are due to the surrounding environment. Tracking filters play the key role of the target-state estimation after the updating of the tracking system; therefore, the type of filter that is used for the conduction of the estimations is crucial in the determining of the reliability of the updated value, and this is especially true since the performances of different filters vary when they are subjected to different environmental and initial conditions. The purpose of this paper is the conduction of a comparison between the performances of the α-β-γ filter and the Kalman filter regarding an ARPA-system tracking module that is used on board high-dynamic warships. The comparison is based on the capability of each filter to reduce noise and maintain a stable response. The residual error is computed from the difference between the true and predicted positions and the true and estimated positions for the given sample. The results indicate that the tracking accuracy of the Kalman filter is higher compared with that of the optimal α-β-γ filter; however, the response of the optimal α-β-γ filter is more stable.

        Formal Safety Assessment (FSA) has been mostly implemented on the hardware aspects of vessels. Although there are guidelines regarding human error FSAs, there have not been many assessments in such areas. To this end, this study seeks to use precedent studies for the safe operation of DP vessels, conducting an FSA regarding human error of DP LOP (Loss of Position) incidents. For this, the study referred to precedent studies for the frequency of DP LOP incidents caused by human errors, adding the severity of LOP incidents, and then applying them to the Bayesian network. As a result, the study was able to confirm that among DP LOP incidents caused by human errors, the drive-off from skill-based errors was 74.3% and the drive-off from unsafe supervision was 50.5%. Based on such results, RCOs (Risk Control Options) were devised through a brainstorming session with experts coming up with proposals including providing mandatory DPO training, installing DP simulator on the vessels, drawing up measures to understanding the procedures for safe operation of DP vessels. Moreover, it was found that mandatory DPO training is reasonable in terms of cost benefits and that while installing a DP simulator is not suitable in terms of cost benefits, it can significantly reduce risks when operating DP vessels.
