        목적 : 본 연구는 전반적 발달장애아를 대상으로 아동기자폐증평정척도를 실시하여 자폐성향 및 자폐정도를 확인하고, 단축감각프로파일을 실시하여 자폐성향 및 자폐정도에 따라 감각처리의 차이가 나타나는지를 살펴보고자 하였다. 연구방법 : 만 3세부터 10세 사이의 전반적 발달장애아 139명을 대상으로 하였다. 빈도 분석을 통해 일반적 특성을 알아 보았으며, 자폐성향 및 자폐정도에 따른 감각처리의 차이를 알아보기 위해 t검증을 실시하였다. 또한 자폐정도와 감각처리간의 상관관계를 알아보기 위해 상관분석을 실시하였다. 결과 : 전반적 발달장애아의 자폐성향에 따라 모든 감각영역에서 감각처리상의 차이가 나타났으며, 자폐정도에 따라 촉각민감성, 맛/냄새 민감성, 과소반응/특정자극 찾는 행동, 청각여과하기, 총점에서 감각처리상의 차이가 나타났다. 또 한 자폐점수와 감각처리간의 부적상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 자폐정도가 심할수록 총점을 비롯하여 촉각 민감 성, 과소반응/특정자극 찾는 행동, 청각여과하기 영역에서 감각처리상의 어려움을 보이는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 결론 : 전반적 발달장애아의 경우 자폐성향 및 자폐정도를 확인해야하며, 자폐성향이 나타나는 아동의 경우 촉각 민감성, 맛/냄새 민감성, 과소반응/특정자극 찾는 행동, 청각 여과하기 영역의 감각처리에 대한 주의 깊은 관찰 및 심화평가가 필요함을 확인할 수 있었다.

        목적 : 본 연구는 발달 장애아 아버지의 양육 참여도와 어머니의 양육 효능감의 정도를 알아보고, 양 육 효능감에 영 향을 미치는 요인을 어머니 변인(연령, 교육수준, 종교, 취업유무), 자녀 변인(연령, 성, 장애유형, 장애정도, 자녀 수), 아버지 변인(연령, 교육수준, 종교, 직업, 수입, 양육 참여정도)을 중심으로 탐색해 보고자 수행 되었다. 연구방법 : 연구 대상은 서울과 경기도에 위치한 장애인 복지관, 사설 기관, 병원 등 특수치료 관련기 관 11곳에서 치료를 받고 있는 장애아의 어머니 190명이었다. 발달장애아 아버지의 자녀 양육 참여도를 측정하기 위하여 ‘Paternal Involvement in Child Care Index(PICCI)’를 사용하였고 발달 장애아 어머니의 양육 효능 감을 측정하 기 위하여‘Parenting Sense of Competence(PSOC) Scale’를 사용하였다. 결과 : 발달장애아 어머니의 양육 효능감과 아버지의 양육 참여도는 각 측정 도구의 중간 점수보다 약간 높게 나타 났고 발달 장애아 어머니의 양육 효능감을 유의하게 설명하는 변인은 자녀의 장애 정도와 아버지의 양육 참여도 였다. 결론 : 발달 장애아 어머니의 양육 효능감은 아버지의 양육 참여도와 자녀의 장애 정도와 관련이 있다는 것을 확인 하게 되었다. 따라서 장애 자녀발달을 위한 치료와 교육의 중요성을 재인식하게 되었으며, 장애아 아 버지의 참여를 유도할 수 있는 교육 프로그램과 장애아 가족을 위한 다양한 제도의 필요성을 재확인하는 계기가 되었다는 점에서 의의를 갖는다.

        Purpose : This study is for investigating the factors influencing on treatment effect of devel-opmental disability children under 6-year-old.Methods : This study was investigated March, 2003 from January, 2003 to child fewer than 6 ages and parent each 43 people who is undergoing medical diagnosis from occupational ther-apy of K university hospital, S hospital, C hospital.Results : Obstacle type of 43 disabled children handicap by 50% and language impairment, mental retardation, sight obstacle, difficulties. It is 25.6% that there is no family member that can give help for disabled children’s treatment, is that 1 person is more 69.8%, and that have 3 people 4.7%, and in 25 points full marks that stew of family more than 21 points by 79.1% lazi-ness or family of stew that in general by high thing appear. Disabled children was using aver-age 4.16 places’ treatment institution during a week. Total number of treatment during a week is 5.19 times of treatment per average one child patient. While child’s treatment adaptation degree is that 32.6% well regardless of sentiment or hygienic condition, 37.2% when sentiment or hygienic condition is good well, and 18.6% is usual, 2.3% is different according to sentiment or hygienic condition therapist or treatment institution, and 9.3% is not well in most case. Comparing coefficient of correlation with adaptation degree and cura-tive effect when treat and treatment actual conditions of family’s support, home treatment num-ber of times, medical fee, treatment equipment utilization number of times, treatment number of times etc. and child’s characteristic of child’s age, obstacle grade, duplicated obstacle number and so on, Child’s duplicated obstacle number showed high negative correlation of comparative with curative effect, and child’s obstacle degree showed high negative correlation with curative effect.Conclusion : By result of this study, child’s motor development treatment effect is considered that child’s obstacle degree and duplication number of obstacle is connected. Therefore, it means that efficient and practical treatment to grasp child’s obstacle and state more closely and more interests and efforts of parent and therapist are in need.

        Purpose : This study investigated the consumer satisfaction of the rehabilitation counseling via internet for parents of children with developmental disabilities aged under 6. Methods : The web site for internet counseling (ddchild.com) consisted of 1,500-page information for educating children at risk, with mental retardation, autism, learning disabilities, and cerebral palsy. Internet counseling was conducted in the form of Q/A, real-time chatting, monthly interview, and search engine. The consumer survey form was dispatched to a total of 1,459 registered members and 91 (7%) of them replied to the survey. The survey included general information of the respondents, the types of disabilities they used mostly, their satisfaction level, criticisms and suggestions to this internet counseling. Results : The general characteristics of the respondents were: (1) The users were distributed across the nation from Seoul and its vicinity (61%) to Cheju (1%); (2) The respondents’ 68% was middle or lower middle class; (3) The types of disabilities were children at risk including learning disabilities and ADHD (37%), autism (21%), mental retardation (21%), cerebral palsy(18.5%). The 68% of the respondents were satisfied with the internet counseling, and 65% actively used the data base consisted of rehabilitation information for educating children with developmental disabilities. Regarding the usage of the data base, 49% replied that this program was very helpful, because the instructions were described with concrete examples, 47.7% “helpful in understanding how to teach these children,” and 27.7% “in better understanding the behaviors of these children.” As to the suggestions, the respondents demanded two things. One is that the government build more schools and centers for educating these children along with more economic support, and the other requests are related to the operation of this internet counseling: enforcing of speech therapy program, opening of demonstration program with regard to the usage of this system, and setting up a psychological counseling for the parents. Conclusion : Operation of the internet counseling system can be a viable approach for providing early intervention programs for parents with developmental disabilities with low-cost effectiveness in the country where early intervention has not been systematically established.

        The purpose of this study was to investigate factors influencing on the early treatment of children with developmental disability. Data was collected from 102 mothers of children with developmental disability who were treated at 4 rehabilitation facilities in Kyunggi-Do and Kangwon-Do. The results were as follows: 1) Of a total of 102, 63 children began to receive rehabilitation therapy during the period 0~12 months (early treatment group), 38 children after 1 year of age (delayed early treatment group). 2) There were statistically significant differences between the early treatment group and delayed early treatment group for prematurity, low birth weight, the time to discover developmental abnormalities, the time of first diagnosis, and first treatment (p<0.05). 3) There were no statistically significant differences in the two groups for level of education, economic status, risk factors (except prematurity and birth weight), home care, family's cooperation and commuting time (p>0.05). Based on this study, the important factors for early treatment were early detection, early diagnosis and constant follow-up for high-risk babies.

        Parents of handicapped children are experiencing difficulties in their children's care, social isolation, change of life style and lirnited leisure time. Because the parents should take care of the children's daily life, they have lots of psychological and physical stress. Chronic stress of parents puts stress to the other family members and affects the development of children with handicap. The purpose of this study were to identify the level of stress in each of parents of children with motor problem, the characteristics of the children and general information related with the children, and to analyse the stress by reasons. Specially organized questionnaire were used for an investigation method. "Test of stress in mother who has children with chronic illness" by Kim Hee-soon were modified and used. The questionnaire answered by 43 mothers and 35 fathers were analyzed. Data analysis includes frequency analysis, Pearson correlation coefficients, paired-samples t-test and MANOV A by SPSSWIN. The results were as follows: 1) Degree of handicap was most moderate (46.5%), level of motor development was most pull to walk (34.9%), and combined handicap was 69.8%. 2) Sexual distribution represented that 51.2% male and 48.8% female. The cost of physical therapy was 69.8% in no more than 100,000 won. 3) The mean of age, for the mother was 32.8 years and 35.3 years. Level of motor development that mother and father expect was 88.4%, 83% walk alone. 4) Both mother and father experienced stress in other of Part II (changes in father was the illness status of the child and difficulty in taking care of child), Part III (prognosis of the child's condition), Part I (social-personal relationships and the responsibility of the care givers). In the total score of stress, mother's stress is indicated higher level than father's stress. 5) There was no correlationship between characteristics and stress of mother and father. 6) There was no statistically significant difference between characteristics and related general information of children with handicap and stress of mother and father. As a results, the mother of children with handicap are experiencing more stress than the father. Both of parents have the most difficulties in the changes in the illness status of the child and difficulty in taking care of child. This study can be used as resources of education, therapy and counselling for children with handicap and their parents. This study, also, can be used to encourage the quality of Iife for the children with handicapped and their family.ㅂ
