        우백혈청(牛白血病)virus에 대한 혈청항체의 측정(測定)을 위한 간접효소면역법(間接酵素免疫法)(ELISA)의 확립(確立) 및 ELISA법(法)의 감도(感度)를 알기 위하여 한천(寒天) gel 면역확산법(免疫擴散法)(ID)과 비교검토(比較檢討)하였으며 한우(韓牛), 유우(乳牛) 및 육우(肉牛)등 264두(頭)의 혈청(血淸)을 공시(供試)하였다. 혈청(血淸)을 가(加)하지 않은 공(孔)의 흡광치(吸光値)(C)로서 혈청치(血淸値)를 제(除)한 후, 표준(標準)BLV항체흡성혈청치(N)로서 피검혈청치(被檢血淸値)(T)를 나눈치(値)(T-C/N-C)가 1.5이상(以上)인 것을 BLV항체 양성(陽性)으로 하였을 때 gp-ID의 성적(成績)과 98.5%(259/263)가 일치(一致)되었다. gp-ID 향성혈청(陽性血淸) 145예(例)중 144예(例)가 ELISA 양성(陽性)으로 99.6%, gp-ID 음성혈청(陰性血淸) 118예(例)중 115예(例)가 ELISA음성(陰性)으로 97.5%가 일치(一致)되었다. 이상에서와 같이 gp-ID용(用)의 BLV 항원(抗原)을 사용한 ELISA법(法)을 gp-ID와 동등(同等) 또는 더 감도(感度)가 우수한 BLV의 혈청항체측정법 임이 입증되었으며 실용성(實用性)이 충분(充分)하다고 사료(思料)된다.

        Guillain-Barré syndrome can be classified with several subtypes along with the union of each symptom. Autoimmune mechanism is accepted for pathogenesis. It is often difficult to predict the causative antibodies of the various types of Guillain- Barré syndrome, because there are considerable mismatches of causative antibody to clinical phenotype as well as phenotype or antibody heterogeneities. We investigated the clinical characteristics of the patients with positivity of anti-gangliosides antibody in the serum. Nineteen patients were enrolled who showed the positivity of anti-GM1 antibody, anti-GQ1b antibody and anti-GD1b antibody, who had visited the department of neurology of Chosun University Hospital. We classified the three patient groups; 8 patients had positivity for anti-GM1 antibody, 10 patients for anti-GQ1b antibody and 8 patients for GD1b antibody. The result of statistical analysis showed no clinical difference within the groups. Therefore, prediction of causative autoantibody can be risky when we considered only the symptoms and course of disease of Guillain-Barré syndrome.

        Soybean (Glycine max(L.) Merr.) is an important source of high protein and oil. Use of soybean meal bythe food industry is increasing, but severely limiting dietary choices and the quality of life of food-allergic individuals. Gly m Bd 30K (P34) is known as the main seed allergens in soybean-sensitive patients. The objective of this work was to determine the molecular basis of the low mutation of soybean P34 and to design polyclonal antibody for the selection of the causative mutations for wild homozygous, heterozygous and mutant homozygous. Using soybean genome assembly, we knew that soybean P34 genes are existing 2 copies in LG A1 and 1 copy in LG A2 in soybean genome. Actually, we confirmed that 3 copies for P34 gene were existed on soybean genome with Southern blot analysis. Glyma08g12270 of those was expressed at significantly higher level compared with Glyma08g12280 and Glyma05g29130by RT-PCR and western analysis. However this gene was not expressed in the low-P34 germplasm accessions. We develop a co-dominant marker based on the sequence of Glyma08g12270 containing a four-base pair insertion at the P34 start codon. Also, we make a polyclonal antibody for investigation of P34 protein levels. Further study, we will perform the crossing between low P34 accession and elite variety, backcrossing and allergen test using low P34 line.

        Anti-H pylori 항체를 함유한 면역우유를 에서 30분 열처리한 것과 열처리하지 않은 Anti-H. pylori 항체를 함유한 원유의 면역활성 비교시 99.99(100)%의 면역 활성을 나타내었으며, 이상의 열처리에 의해서는 면역 활성이 급격하게 감소하여 약 50%이하로 감소하였다. 열처리 온도가 높을수록, 열처리 시간이 증가할수록 총균수의 감소율이 증가하였다. Coliform bacteria의 경우는 원유에서 이 관찰되었으나 모든 열처

        Total RNAs were isolated from cultured roots of Scopolia parviflora, poly(A)+ RNA was obtained through the mRNA purification, cDNA library of Hnh6h was constructed. Recombinant baculoviruses in Spodoptera frugiperda (Sf) cells were constructed by use of the transfer vector pBacPAK, which has the AcNPV sequence under the polyhedrin promoter. The expression vector carrying Hnh6h gene was transferred to S. parviflora and obtained transgenic hairy root lines. Our results confirmed the over expression of the H6H protein was used by anti-pBacPAK about cDNAs of S. parviflora. This study will served for production of tropane alkaloids by metabolic engineering.

        Immunological method has been applied in biochemical genetic analysis of seed storage proteins. We developed and characterized anti-gliadin polyclonal antibody (AGPab) specific to gliadin fractions whose quality and quantity were known to be associated with wheat end-use quality. Reactions of anti-gliadin polyclonal antibody (AGPab) to gliadin were linearly decreased as AGPab and antigen were diluted. Dot-blot and immunoblot assay showed that produced AGPab specifically reacted to gliadin and mainly α -, β -, and ~gamma -gliadin subunits. Enzyme-linked immuno- sorbent assay (ELISA) was applied for quantifi-cation of gliadins in Korean wheat cultivars and breeding lines by using AGPab. High reactions between AGPab and gliadins were found in wheat cultivars Olmil and Olgeurumil. Significant difference of optical densities for alcohol soluble proteins among crop species was found, as wheat showed the highest value (0.697) followed by rye (0.295), and barley (0.066).
