        Kyunghee Yeo. 2000. A Case Study on the Subject-Exchange Teaching Systems in Elementary English Class: a Transitional Scheme of Problem-Solving. Studies in Modern Grammar 20, 199-213. It goes without saying that a teacher who is responsible for the effective teaching is one of the most important factors in teaching-learning situation. The controversy over who should teach English to elementary school students has continued since English was introduced in elementary schools in 1997. There are two systems in which English can be taught in elementary schools. One is the system in which a classroom teacher who has the deepest understanding toward his/her students teach English. The other is the system in which a subject teacher who has good command of English teach English. Generally, the Ministry of Education encourages the classroom teacher to teach English to children and the teachers who have little confidence in teaching English prefer the system in which a subject teacher teaches. Both systems are said to he strengths and weaknesses. This paper suggests the subject-exchange teaching system that compromises above mentioned two systems and shows how elementary school teachers think of this system and illustrates the case and the effects of subject-exchange teaching system.

        In Pusan Harbour, new port development projects are implemented such as the Extended Terminal adjacent to the Gamman Terminal, Pusan New Port, the Navy ○○ piers, etc. which will require new marine traffic environments in the Passage I of Pusan Harbour. Specially, the turning basin of the Extended Terminal adjacent to the Gamman Terminal has been designed to overlay the Passage I of Pusan Harbour, which will interrupt the inbound traffic flow and the results will be worried to decrease the efficiency of port operation. Therefore, this paper will be aimed to evaluate the traffic congestion in the Pusan Passage I due to the opening of new ports within Pusan Harbour in 2006 and 2011 by using computer simulation based the queueing theory.

        Recently, the role of container ports is radically changing, These changes are largely driven by the innovation process of Logistics such as Supply Chain Logistics and Global Logistics due to the international expansional of industry. Under this environment, It is required that the container port should act as a integral part of a Supply Logistics Chain especially to provide the customer-oriented logistics service. This paper deals with the development strategy of container ports coping with these changes in the view point of container ports as a Logistics infrastructure to provide customer-response services and necessary to the economic promotion of hinterlands. Strategy is suggested in the phases of the customers desire, the pattern of container cargo, the economic promotion of hinterlands, and interrelation of container ports in north-east Asia and also domestics through the analysis of competiveness of container ports.

        Recently leading edge companies use the Supply Chain Management as a competitive weapon to secure and maintain customer loyalty. As a consequency they are concentrating resources on the company’s core business and employing strategic alliances with third-party providers to ensure the company provides its customers’desired logistics service levels at acceptable costs. Under this circumstances this paper surveys the third party logistics as a leading edge logistics industry coping with the progress of the supply chain management. The status and the type of the TPL including the Forwarder are analyzed in the view point of global logistics. Also the development strategy of third party logistics in the future is suggested.

        Although many studies on modelling of port competitive situation have been conducted, both theoretical frame and methodology are still very weak. In this study, therefore, a new algorithm called ESD (Extensional System Dynamics) for the evaluation of port competition was presented, and applied to simulate port systems in northeast asia. The detailed objectives of this paper are to develop Unit fort Model by using SD(System Dynamics) method; to develop Competitive Port Model by ESD method; to perform sensitivity analysis by altering parameters, and to propose port development strategies. For these the algorithm for the evaluation of part's competition was developed in two steps. Firstly, SD method was adopted to develop the Unit Port models, and secondly HFP(Hierarchical Fuzzy Process) method was introduced to expand previous SD method. The proposed models were then developed and applied to the five ports - Pusan, Kobe, Yokohama, Kaoshiung, Keelung - with real data on each ports, and several findings were derived. Firstly, the extraction of factors for Unit Port was accomplished by consultation of experts such as research worker, professor, research fellows related to harbor, and expert group, and finally, five factor groups - location, facility, service, cargo volumes, and port charge - were obtained. Secondly, system's structure consisting of feedback loop was found easily by location of representative and detailed factors on keyword network of STGB map. Using these keyword network, feedback loop was found. Thirdly, for the target year of 2003, the simulation for Pusan port revealed that liner's number would be increased from 829 ships to 1,450 ships and container cargo volumes increased from 4.56 million TEU to 7.74 million TEU. It also revealed that because of increased liners and container cargo volumes, length of berth should be expanded from 2,162m to 4,729m. This berth expansion was resulted in the decrease of congested ship's number from 97 to 11. It was also found that port's charge had a fluctuation. Results of simulation for Kobe, Yokohama, Kaoshiung, Keelung in northeast asia were also acquired. Finally, the inter port competition models developed by ESB method were used to simulate container cargo volumes for Pusan port. The results revealed that under competitive situation container cargo volume was smaller than non-competitive situation, which means Pusan port is lack of competitive power to other ports. Developed models in this study were then applied to estimate change of container cargo volumes in competitive relation by altering several parameters. And, the results were found to be very helpful for port mangers who are in charge of planning of port development.

        현재 국내에서는 매년 평균 100여개의 교량이 붕괴되거나 심각한 피해를 입고 있다. 이들의 대부분은 홍수시 기초지반이 유실됨으로써 발생되며 다라서 세굴에 의한 피해를 줄이기 위하여는 우선 이에 대한 기초적 연구와 함께 교량설계시 예상되는 세굴깊이를 정확히 산정하고 이를 설계에 합리적으로 반영시키는 것이 필요하다. 그러나 세굴이 발생되는 물리적 현상은 많은 인자들이 서로 복잡하게 연계되어 해석하기에 쉽지 않으며 실측된 자료 또한 찾아보기 힘들다. 본 연구

        In Pusan port, the studies which analyze container cargo volumes by using forecasting methods and research about container logistics system, etc., have been continuously carried out. But, in Pusan port, the study on an evaluation of traffic congestion has been scarcely performed until now. Especially, when changing and extending a berth, or constructing a new port, it is very important to examine this field. And it should be considered. Thus, this paper aims to analyze the effect of ship traffic condition in the year 2011, to evaluate marine traffic congestion according to changing ship traffic volumes in Pusan port. To analyze it, we examined the results by simulation method.

        6개의 수조와 1개의 펌프장을 갖고 있는 대심도 지하관로 배수시스템에서 발생하는 복잡한 서어징 현상을 강체수주이론에 의한 비선형 상태방정식에 의해서 해석하였다. 상태방정식은 각 수조에서의 유량연속방정식과 비선형항을 갖는 지하관로의 운동 방정식으로부터 구성된다. 홍수의 유입량과 펌프의 유출량을 장방형 펄스(pulse)로 하고 유출유량과 전유입유량이 같다고 한다면 비선형 상태방정식에 의한 각 수조수위의 진동은 선형화 방정식에 의한 결과와 잘 일치 하고 있다

        최근 중·소규모의 도시전역과 자연유역에서 임계지속기간의 개념을 도입하여 설계홍수량을 산정하는 사례가 늘어나고 있는 추세에 있다. 그러나, 임계지속기간에 관한 연구는 미흡한 상태이며 특히 자연유역에 대해서는 거의 없는 상태이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 자연유역을 대상으로 Clark모형을 이용하여 강우분포 형태, 첨두강우 발생위치, 빈도에 따른 임계지속기간 및 첨두유량을 산정하고, 적용모형의 매개변수들에 대한 민감도분석을 실시함으로써 각종 인자들이 설계홍수
