Finding a head of a person in a scene is very important for taking a well composed picture by a robot photographer because it depends on the position of the head. So in this paper, we propose a robust head tracking algorithm using a hybrid of an omega shape tracker and local binary pattern (LBP) AdaBoost face detector for the robot photographer to take a fine picture automatically. Face detection algorithms have good performance in terms of finding frontal faces, but it is not the same for rotated faces. In addition, when the face is occluded by a hat or hands, it has a hard time finding the face. In order to solve this problem, the omega shape tracker based on active shape model (ASM) is presented. The omega shape tracker is robust to occlusion and illumination change. However, when the environment is dynamic, such as when people move fast and when there is a complex background, its performance is unsatisfactory. Therefore, a method combining the face detection algorithm and the omega shape tracker by probabilistic method using histograms of oriented gradient (HOG) descriptor is proposed in this paper, in order to robustly find human head. A robot photographer was also implemented to abide by the 'rule of thirds' and to take photos when people smile.

This study aims to compare the revealed activities of visitors to rural tourism villages through photographic album in the internet homepage, and to give a suggestion for building new homepage showing the differences in mountain eco-tourism village. According to the different types of village development projects, photographs in internet homepage were analysed in order to compare the centered activities of visitors to agriculture and mountain tourism villages. Landscape types such as natural landscape, agricultural landscape, and village living landscape were classified to execute a content analysis on photographic album in the homepage. Reliability of the analysis between coder was achieved as 0.81. Results were summarized as follows. Firstly, village identity of homepage was mostly determined by the characteristics of internet portal involved. Secondly, adults were revealed as main subjects of tourism activities in mountain village, whereas lots of children were involved in agricultural village. Thirdly, natural landscape was used as a place of activities in mountain village, while village living landscape was photographed as a main background. It was suggested that the photographs revealing activities with children in the background of natural landscape should be uploaded to show the identity of mountain village regardless of the characteristics of internet portal.

사진트리 기반의 지형 시각화 기법은 많은 응용 프로그램에서 활용되어 왔다. 하지만 전체 과정이 CPU에서 수행되기 때문에 GPU를 사용하는 다른 방법들에 비해 렌더링 성능이 떨어진다. 본 논문에서는 사진트리 기반의 지형 시각화 기법을 GPU에서 수행할 수 있도록 오차텍스처와 LOD텍스처를 제안하고, 상세단계가 적용된 사진트리 블록을 동일한 해상도의 메쉬로 채워서 렌더링 속도를 향상시키는 방법을 제안한다. 전처리 단계에서는 보편 공간에서 사진트리의 연속된 두 단계사이에서 지형의 높이 값 차이를 계산하여 오차텍스처에 저장한다. 렌더링 단계에서는 저장된 오차 값을 이용하여 투영된 오차 값을 계산하고, 그 결과를 LOD텍스처에 저장한다. LOD텍스처에 저장된 값을 이용해서 블록단위로 시각 절두체 선별을 하고 상세단계를 선택한다. 이 방법은 부하가 큰 상세 단계 선택 작업을 GPU에서 수행하고 블록단위 연산을 함으로써 작업량을 줄일 수 있다. 상세 단계가 서로 다른 블록이 인접해 있을 경우 T-정점 때문에 크랙이 발생하는데 원본 고도 데이터의 밉맵을 활용해서 이것을 제거할 수 있다.

창작은 더 이상 전문가들만의 것이 아니라 학습 과정에 있는 창작 주체 즉 학습 작가가 수행하는 문학적 글쓰기의 과정과 결과를 포함해야 하며, 따라서 ‘창작 교육’은 전문적인 작가를 배출하는 것을 목적으로 하는 것이 아니라 학습자의 문학적인 창작의 욕구를 자연스럽게 분출하여 생산하도록 해야 한다. 따라서 시 창작 교육에서도 쓰는 경험을 제공하고 표현 과정을 중시해야 한다. 그래서 시 창작 교육은 단순한 감정 표현만이 아니라 인식의 차원에서 이루어지는 세상 읽기 교육이 되어야 하며, 경험이 부족한 학생들에게 인식의 폭을 넓히고 세상 읽기가 가능하도록 해야 한다. 이때 다양한 매체를 활용하면 효과가 배가된다. 여기서 사진의 매체적 특성은 매우 시사적인 가능성을 준다고 할 수 있다. 요컨대 사진을 활용한 교수 학습 활동은 사진 텍스트 읽기와 시 창작을 결합시키는 일이 될 것이다. 사진 안에는 내 삶을 돌아보게 만드는 남의 삶이 담겨 있다. 사진을 보고 학습자 자신의 사고를 글로 표현하는 과정에서 삶과 세계를 이해하고 주위 대상에 관심을 갖게 되며, 대상의 의미 해석을 통해 자신의 세계관을 확대하고 바람직한 세계관을 형성할 수 있다. 즉 간접 체험을 통해 인생과 삶에 대한 폭넓은 이해를 쌓고 나아가 자신의 삶을 되돌아보고 미래의 행동 지침으로 삼게 만들 수 있는 것이다. 또 사진을 보고 시를 창작하는 활동은 ‘읽기’와 ‘쓰기’, ‘이해’와 ‘표현’이라는 상반된 것처럼 생각되었던 국어 교육의 내용을 결합하는 통합적 교육 효과를 얻을 수 있을 것이다. 또 인쇄 매체에 한정된 기존의 ‘읽기’ 개념을 더 확장하여 문화 읽기로 나아가며, 작지만 매체의 변화를 고려한 국어 수업이 될 수 있을 것이다.

본 연구에서는 경안천 유역을 대상으로 과거의 경년 항공사진과 지형도를 이용하여 하천형태의 변화를 분석하고, 하천주위의 토지이용변화를 비교해 보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 경안천 유역의 지방 1, 2급 하천에 해당하는 1966년, 1981년, 2000년 항공사진에 내, 외부표정을 실시하여 정사영상을 생성하였으며 또한 1914 - 1915년 지형도를 이용하여 1966년, 1981년, 2000년의 하천과 비교하였다. 이 영상을 이용하여 경년 하천형태와 하천부지의
