Food goods traded between Korea and Japan during the first term of the Cho Sun era included Omija (fruit of the Maximowiczia chinensis), Jat (pine nuts), Insam (Jinseng), rice, and beans as exports ; and pepper, sugar, and medicinal stuffs as imports. The trade between Korea and Japan was a result of Japanese envoies' visiting. The official number of Japanese envoies who had exchanges with Koreans were two thousand people a year. Once the Japanese entered Korea, they did not need to pay for their living expenses for the length of their visit because the Cho Sun government bore the whole expense. The Cho Sun government gave formal receptions to them, which included daily meals as well as banquet style meals. The daily meals included Jo-ban (breakfast), Jo-seok-ban (breakfast and dinner), and Ju-jeom-sim (lunch). Meals were served four times a day. The banquet style meals included Sam-po-yeon (a banquet that was held in Sam-po), Kyong-joong-young-jeon-yeon (a farewell banquet, and a welcome banquet that was held in Seoul), Jyu-bong-bae (to offer a guest a drink by day), No-yeon (a banquet that was held on the street), Kwol-nae-yeon (a banquet that was held within the Royal Court). It also included Ye-jo-yeon (a banquet that was held in Ye-jo), and Myong-il-yeon (a banquet that was held on a national holiday). The banquet style meals were composed of Ceon-tack (to set a table for dinner), Sang-hwa (a flower that was put on the food), Kwan-hwa (to offer a flower when a banquet was held), Ju-5-jan (the fifth wine glass), Dae-seon (meat), and music.
A combined technology of transvaginal ovum pick-up(OPU) system with in vitro-oocyte manipulation technique can be used for improving reproductive efficiency in the cattle. The objective of this study was to establish a newly-conceived breeding program using OPU in the pregnant cows. The OPU trial was performed in pregnant cows every 10 days from 40 through 90 days of artificial insemination (Al), and number of follicles in ovary, number of retrieved oocytes and embryo development following in vitro-fertilization, were evaluated. Reduced number of follicles in the ovaries of pregnant cows was firstly detected from 70 days after A' and a significant (P<0.05) decrease in the follicle number (5.4 follicles /donor) was found at 90 days than at 40, 50, 60 and 80 days after Al (8.0~9.2). A similar pattern was also observed in the number of oocytes retrieved by OPU apparatus during experimental period. When retrieved oocytes were matured and inseminated in vitro with frozen bull semen, development of the oocytes to the blastocyst stage was not significantly affected by the retrieval time. Four embryos (morula or blastocyst stage) derived from oocytes retrieved from pregnant cows were nonsurgically transferred to four recipient cows on day 7 of estrus cycle. For the first time in Korea, three of four transferred embryos developed to live calves with normal physiological parameters. In conclusion, an effective breeding program employing pregnant cow can be developed by use of OPU trial and in vitro culture techniques of oocytes ; OPU system could be repeated in pregnant cows with no risk of abortion and viable offsprings were borne after transfer to the recipients.
Sleep deprivation may affect the brain functions such as cognition and consequently, dynamics of the BEG. We examined the effects of sleep deprivation on chaoticity of the EEG. Five volunteers were sleep-deprived over a period of 24 hours They were checked by EEG during two days. thc first day of baseline period and the second day of total sleep deprivation period. EEGs were recorded from 16 channels for nonlinear analysis. We employed a method of minimum embedding dimension to calculate the first positive Lyapunov exponent. Fer limited noisy data, this algorithm was strikingly faster and more accurate than previous ones. Our results show that the sleep deprived volunteers had lower values of the first positive Lyapunov exponent at ten channels (Fp1, F4. F8. T4, T5. C3, C4. P3. P4. O1) compared with the values of baseline periods. These results suggested that sleep deprivation leads to decrease of chaotic activity in brain and impairment of the information processing in the brain. We suggested that nonlinear analysis of the EEG before and after sleep deprivation may offer fruitful perspectives for understanding the role if sleep and the effects of sleep deprivation on the brain function.
The study offers the first large scale product-level study of the factors which influence Japanese manufacturing firm`s order of U.S. market entry. Our results support market rivalry rather than firm-specific advantages arguments. Japanese first-investors do not have as strong a research concentration as second-investors and late-investors. Japanese firms with medium market shares have a greater tendency to be first-investors. Japanese firms belonging to enterprise groups tend to be first-investors due to stiff competition across enterprise groups. In addition, Japanese firms with previous experience in the U. S. market tend to be first-investors in another product market. On the other hand, Japanese firms` advertising intensity and their membership in a keiretsu group do not affect its order of U.S. market entry.
I2/a, a=1756.00 picometer, b=906.00 picometer, c=2211.00 picometer, β=104.04, Z=8로 확인되었다. 여기서 a, b, c는 결정?Ю?
