        It is not easy to predict the shrinkage rate of a plastic injection mold in its design process. The shrinkage rate should be considered as one of the important performances to produce the reliable products. The shrinkage rate can be determined by using the CAE tools in the design produces. However, since the analysis can take minutes to hours, the high computational costs of performing the analysis limit their use in design optimization. Therefore this study was carried out to presume for mutual relation of analysis condition to get the optimum average shrinkage by regression analysis. The results shown that coefficient of determination of regression equation has a fine reliability over 87% and regression equation of average shrinkage is made by regression analysis

        The triple eccentric butterfly valve has metal sheet and this study about butterfly valve ceiling is an innovative approach. But it is affected by the static pressure as well as cross-current. The damage at the valve on the pipe resulted from the reflux is due to valve leakage. This study is investigated on the triple eccentric disk and it is applied with angle and the static pressure in all cases to develop cross-current triple eccentric butterfly valves. The disc with the diameter of 300A is valve against flow velocity. The entrance pressure by flow characteristics is performed with numerical analysis. As the result, valve torque production is reduced more than the conventional triple eccentric valve and entrance pressure is decreased on the increase of valve open angle. And flow coefficient can be known to be increased.

        Recently, the engineering designer of injection mold has become more and more dependent on the CAE. In the design factors of injection mold, the shrinkage rate should be considered as one of the important performances to produce the reliable products. Therefore, the shrinkage rate can be mostly calculated by the MoldFlow and CATIA in the design process. However, it is not easy to predict the shrinkage rate of a plastic injection mold in its design process because the analysis can take minutes to hours, the high computational costs of performing the analysis limit their use in design optimization. In this study, the surrogate models based on the Taguchi Design in order to optimize the shrinkage rate of bevel gear injection mold is used instead of the original models, facilitating design optimal design.

        본 연구는 공공연구의 산업R&D에 대한 파급경로가 다양하다는 전제하에 우리나라 공공연구(대학 및 정부출연연구소의 연구)의 국내 기업들에 대한 파급경로 및 효과를 실증분석하고 시사점을 도출한다. 이를 위해 공공연구의 다양한 파급경로들(논문, 특허, 보고서, 기술자문, 인력이동, 공동연구, 계약연구, 기술이전/라이선싱 등)을 유형화하고 이를 국내 S기업에 적용하여 사례분석을 한다. S기업에 대한 사례분석은 S기업 관련분야 근무 경력자에 대한 면담조사를 통해 이루어졌다. 분석결과, S기업은 주로 유형C(특히 기술회의와 기술자문/지도)와 유형D(특히 공동연구/계약연구)의 파급경로를 통해서 공공연구로부터 이득을 얻고 있었으며, 유형A(특히 세미나, 인력양성)도 일부 작동하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 유형B(논문, 보고서, 저서, 특허)는 매우 약하게 작동하고 있으며, 유형E(창업, 조인트벤쳐, 라이선싱)는 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 S사가 국내 재벌그룹의 계열사로서 대기업이라는 특성에 기인하지만, 공공연구 활용 관련 대기업들의 전반적인 추세를 어느 정도 반영하고 있는 것으로 보인다. 정책적 시사점으로는 공공연구를 볼 때, 의도적인 공공연구기관의 기술이전이나 기술확산, 공식적인 협동연구에만 초점을 맞추는 기존의 시각에서 벗어나서, 유형A, 유형B, 유형C에 속하는 다양한 공공연구의 지식전파 경로들을 함께 고려하는 관점에서 관련정책들이 개발될 필요성이 있다는 점이다.

        MIRIS is the main payload of the STSAT-3 (Science and Technology Satellite 3) and the first infrared space telescope for astronomical observation in Korea. MIRIS space observation camera (SOC) covers the observation wavelength from 0.9μm to 2.0μm with a wide field of view 3.67∘×3.67∘ . The PICNIC HgCdTe detector in a cold box is cooled down below 100K by a micro Stirling cooler of which cooling capacity is 220mW at 77K. MIRIS SOC adopts passive cooling technique to chill the telescope below 200 K by pointing to the deep space (3K). The cooling mechanism employs a radiator, a Winston cone baffle, a thermal shield, MLI (Multi Layer Insulation) of 30 layers, and GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic) pipe support in the system. Optomechanical analysis was made in order to estimate and compensate possible stresses from the thermal contraction of mounting parts at cryogenic temperatures. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) of mechanical structure was also conducted to ensure safety and stability in launching environments and in orbit. MIRIS SOC will mainly perform Galactic plane survey with narrow band filters (Pa α and Pa α continuum) and CIB (Cosmic Infrared Background) observation with wide band filters (I and H) driven by a cryogenic stepping motor.

        Electrospinning is a technique that produces sub-micron sized continuous fibers by electric force from polymer solutions or melts. Due to its versatile manufacturability and the cost effectiveness, this method has been recently adopted for the fabrication of one-dimensional materials. Here, we fabricated polyacrylonitrile (PAN) polymer fibers, from which uniform carbon fibers with diameters of 100-200 nm were obtained after carbonization at 800 ˚C in N2. Special emphasis was directed to the influence of the phase separated polymer solution on the morphology and the microstructure of the resulting carbon fiber. The addition of poly(stylene-co-acrylonitile) (SAN) makes the polymer solution phase separated, which allows for the formation of internal pores by its selective elimination after electrospinning. XPS and Raman Spectroscopy were used to confirm the surface composition and the degree of carbonization. At the PAN:SAN = 50:50 in vol%, the uniform carbon fibers with diameters of 300~500 nm and surface area of 131.6 m2g-1 were obtained.
