        With the help of KLTER/ME and KLPS in Woraksan, we have surveyed monthly diversity and seasonal prevalence of Macrolepidoptera in Wol-ak-san [Mt.], Jecheon for the period of five months from May to September since 2005. In 2007, to reduce variation, we chose two monitoring points from each of three representative vegetations in the area: Quercus mongolica-, Quercus variabilis- and Pinus densiflora-formations, abbreviated as QM, QV and PD, respectively, and collected exclusively larger moths with bucket-type of light traps for quantified survey. As a result, 1) QM and QV showed the much higher species diversity than PD; 2) in number of individuals collected, QM was the highest, almost twice that of QV, and nearly 8 times that of PD; 3) in Noctuidae and Geometridae collected, QM was the highest, while in Pyralidae and Arctiidae collected, QV was the highest; 4) June was the highest in species diversity, then July was a deep drop, probably due to a storm occurred in July; 5) the number of individuals collected may not be a good indicator as one species may be dominant too much in number of individuals: e.g., Idaea biselata collected in QM in June was over 200, changing the average number of individuals per species to 6.92, which more than twice that of all other sites per month.

        한국원자력연구소에서는 현재 사용후핵연료의 효율적인 관리를 위한 차세대관리 종합공정의 실증용 핫셀을 건설중에 있다. 이 핫셀에서 모든 물품의 반출입은 후면 차폐문을 통해 이루어지므로 차폐문의 사용빈도가 매우 크며, 따라서 후면 차폐문의 구조적 안전성 유지가 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 핫셀의 후면 차폐문에 대한 구조적 안전성을 유한요소 해석을 통해 평가하였다. 후면 차폐문을 닫을 때 벽면의 차폐문틀과 충돌하면서 발생하는 구조적 변형 에 대한 안전성 평가를 위해 이 상황을 충돌-접촉 문제로 가정하고 동적 해석을 수행하였다. 또한 충돌시 반력에의한 후면 차폐문의 전도 가능성 및 이동중 갑작스럽게 정지할 경우 관성에 의한 전도 가능성에 대해서도 해석을 수행하였다. 해석 결과를 통해 차폐문과 차폐문틀 모두 충돌에 의한 구조적 변형에 대해 충분히 안전함을 확인할 수 있었으며, 여러 사고 조건에 대해서도 후면 차폐문의 전도가 일어나지 않고 안정성을 유지함을 보였다.

        Laccase는 여러개의 Cu를 포함하는 효소로서 분자상 산소를 환원시키면서 패놀성 및 비페놀성화합물의 산화를 촉매하는 작용을 한다. 이들 효소들은 미생물 고유의 혹은 유도상의 동위효소의 형태로 목질화된 세포벽을 침투하게 된다. 백색부후균은 많은 종류의 고유의 혹은 유도상의 동위효소를 생산한다. 이들 균체 laccase효소들은 통상 Cu2+, Cd2+ Ca2+, Li+, Mn2+, Ag+, Hg2+, Mn 및 Fe3+이온과 같은 금속이온들, 페놀성 화합물, ethanol, isopropanol, cAMP, caffeine, p-anisidine, viscosinamide 및 paraquat 등과 같은 유기화합물, 질소 및 열충격 등에 의하여 유도될 수 있다. Cu 및 pHB (p-hydroxybenzoic acid)의 조합으로 laccase 활성을 30배이상 유도시킬 수 있었다. 여러 가지 inducer 가운데, 2,5-xylidine이 담자균 및 기타 다른 고등균류로부터 160배이상의 가장 효과적인 laccase의 유도효과를 나타냈다. 한편 laccase효소는 Pycnoporus cinnabarinus의 gene family로부터 자주 code로 표시되었는데, lcc3-1 혹은 lac1 및 lac3-2의 페어 gene으로 클론 및 시퀀싱되었다. 유도형 laccase의 경우 mRNA의 합성에 의존하여 laccase가 생성되며, 이러한 유도효과는 결국 새로운 단백질의 합성으로부터 기인된다.

        본 연구에서는 의류용 직물의 소리와 변환색채의 특성을 분류하고, 역학특성과의 관계분석을 통해 직물의 역학적 특성과 소리 그리고 변환색채와의 관계를 상관분석하고자 하였다. 다양한 의류용 직물의 스치는 소리를 녹음한 후 소리의 물리량으로 군집분석을 하였으며, Okamoto와 Mori의 색채변환 프로그램을 이용하여 직물의 소리를 색채로 변환하였다. 직물의 소리는 각각 silky, crispy, paper-like, worsted, flax의 다섯 그룹으로 나뉘었다. Silky는 매끄럽고 부드러운 견직물 등으로 구성되었으며, LPT(소리의 음압), δf, ARC값이 군집 중 가장 낮아 심리 음향학적 loudness(z)와 sharpness(z)가 제일 낮은 조용한 직물들로 나타났다. 변환된 색채는 홍색 계열이었으며 색채 빈도수가 가장 많았다. raper-like는 뻣뻣하고 파삭파삭한 직물들로 LPT, δf ARC값이 군집 중 가장 높아 loudness와 sharpness가 높은 시끄러운 직물들로 나타났다. Worsted는 모직물과 모직물 느낌의 직물들로 LPT, δf, loudness값이 paper-like다음으로 높은 값을 보였으며 sharpness는 유사했다. Paper-like와 worsted의 변환된 색채는 청색 계열이 주류를 이루었으며 매우 낮은 색채 빈도수를 나타냈다. Crispy는 표면이 까실까실한 느낌의 직물들로 loudness(z)와 sharpness(z)의 값은 높지 않았으나 변환된 색채는 다양한 색채계열과 빈도수를 나타냈다.

        아프리카 나이제르산 13관 21종 식물체의 부위별로 채집된 31 시료 메탄올 추출물의 벼멸구에 대한 살충활성 및 점박이이응애에 대한 살비활성을를 가각 미량국소처리법과 잎침지법으로 조사한 결고, 시료의 부위 및 종에 따라 살충 및 살비활성에 커다란 차이를 보였다. Caesalpinacras과의 Cassia occidentalis와 Cassia tora 전부위 및 Mimosaceas 과의 Prosopis chinensts줄기의 메탄올 추출물은 벼멸구에 대해서 강한 살충활성을 보인 반면, 비름과의 Celosia trigyna 전부위, Combretaceae과의 Combretum glutinotum 잎과 Combretum micronthum 전부위 및 Prosopis chinensis 잎과 열매의 메탄올 추출물은 점박이응애에 대해 강한 살비활성을 나타내었다

        키틴생합성저해제인 diflubenzuron을 톱다리개미허리노린재(Riptortus clavatus Thunberg)에 미량국소처리하였을 때 충태 및 영기에 따른 약제의 감수성차이와, 종령약충 처리후 우화율 및 우화성충에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. Diflubenzuron은 살람효과를 보였으며 산란후 12시간내의 알은 산란후 48~60시간의 알보다 감수성이 높았으나, 알의 나이에 관계없이 처리된 알의 배는 정상적으로 발육하였다. 영기별 감수성은 영기가 진행될수록 낮아져 1령약충이 2령에 비하여 1.5배, 3령약충에 비하여 18.2배, 4령약충에 비하여 39.4배, 5령약충에 비하여 42.4배 높은 감수성을 나타내었다. 종령약충에 처리하였을 때 우화율과 우화성충의 체중, 수명 및 산란율은 현저히 감소하였다.

        The objective of this study was to identify the anti-oxidation, astringent, and inhibition effects of wild Ligularia fischeri on hyaluronidase and angiotensin conerting enzyme (ACE). In order to identify the total phenolic compound (TPC), various solvents were used for extraction showing hot water extract with the highest value of 14.42 GAE mg/g. In addition, ABTS radical scavenging activity measurements revealed an anti-oxdiation effect of 98.64-99.84% a hot water extract concentration of 50-200 μg/mL and a radical scavenging activity of 95.14-98.96% at a 60% ethanol extract content. If expressed in antioxidant protection factors (PF), the hot water extract showed 0.59-1.02 PF and the 60% ethanol sample displayed 0.30-0.74 PF. To identify the bio-activity effect, the hyaluronidase inhibition effect was determined as 4.66-35.00% in a 50-200 μg/mL hot water extract. Considering ACE inhibition effect, the hot water extract and 60% ethanol sample showed 0-64.24% and 46.12-69.64% inhibition effect, respectively. Lastly, when taking into account the astringent effect, the hot water extract with 50-200 μg/mL TPC concentration showed 15.68-26.92% and the 60% ethanol sample with an equal concentration exhibited 49.48-86.84%, which indicates the possibility to apply this product as a cosmetic source for pore contraction. Therefore, wild Ligularia fischeri extract can be used for anti-inflammation, high-blood pressure prevention, and as a source for health functional food with anti-oxidative properties.

        Background : This study was conducted to serve as a basis for the production of high quality organic cultivation Platycodin grandiflorum Ridix roots by analyzing the content of saponins according to organic fertilizer for organic farming. Methods and Results : Platycodin grandiflorum Ridix was treated by with biodegradable film, rice husks, and sawdust, non-mulching (hand weeding). A root of Platycodon grandiflorum were analyzed saponins using HPLC harvested on October. Content of Plantycodin D3 was an average of 68.5 ㎎/100g, which appeared as 111.2 ㎎/100g highest content in the sawdust treated. Deapioplatycodin D showed the highest 48.1 ㎎/100g in the sawdust treated. The content of Platycodin D was shown to 246.2∼373.8 ㎎/100g, the highest values were observed in non-mulching, it showed the lowest value in the rice husks treated. The content of Polygalacin D showed up to 156.0 ㎎/100g in the non-mulching as the biggest difference, the lowest value were 30.1 and 32.2 ㎎/100g in sawdust and rice husks treated. Large differences between fertilizers was not showed, but the overall saponin content of Platycodin grandiflorum Ridix were low in value compared to the control than organic fertilizers. Conclusion : Large differences between mulching materials was showed, thus the overall saponin content of Platycodin grandiflorum Ridix was highest in value compared to non-mulching than sawdust treatment. Mulching Platycodin grandiflorum Ridix with sawdust was an effective method for improving saponin contents.

        Background : This study was performed to know the effect of mulching materials on the growth and root characteristics of Platycodin grandiflorum Ridix. Methods and Results : Platycodin grandiflorum Ridix was treated by with biodegradable film, rice husks, and sawdust, non-mulching (hand weeding).         Background : The root of Platycodin grandiflorum has been widely used as a crude drug or a dependent on the cultivation area and cultivation method. Therefore, this study was conducted to know the effect of organic fertilizer on the changes of antioxidents and antioxidant activity of Platycodin grandiflorum Ridix. Methods and Results : As basal fertilizer were treated before transplanting Platycodin grandiflorum Ridix with chemical fertilizer(Super21, 21-17-17, Namhae Chemical), mixed organic fertilizer, bacterial culture, fermented oil cake and manure in each trial of nitrogen based on 3㎏/10a criteria. The total polyphenol content was highest values were 15.5mg/g appear in the mixed organic fertilizers, the lowest were 9.1mg/g appeared in the manure and control. Flavonoid content showed the highest 15.3 mg/g in the mixed organic fertilizer, and investigated at the lowest 5.0 mg/g in the fermented oil cake. ABTS radical scavenging activity was the highest in was 65.7 mgTE/g in the chemical fertilizer, showed the lowest value in the control to 13.0 mgTE/g. Therefore, both flavonoid and polyphenol content showed a high value on organic fertilizers. Conclusion : Therefore, both flavonoid and polyphenol content showed a high value on organic fertilizers. It is determined that to have researches for a variety of antioxidants by the organic fertilizers made in the future.

Deapioplatycodin D showed the highest 70.9 ㎎/100g in the control, the rest was investigated 28.1∼54 ㎎/100g. The content of Platycodin D was shown to 327.4∼373.8 ㎎/100g, the highest values were observed in mixed organic fertilizer, it showed the lowest value in the control. The content of Polygalacin D showed up to 336.7 ㎎/100g in the manure as the biggest difference, the lowest value were 54.5 and 74.2 ㎎/100g in bacterial cultures and control. Large differences between fertilizers was not showed, but the overall saponin content of Platycodin grandiflorum Ridix were low in value compared to the control than organic fertilizers. Conclusion : For the increasing the yield that Pharmacological effect, organic fertilizer is effective to increase the number of fine-root high which high contented with saponins.

        Background: Chrysanthemum indicum L. is used in medicine, for bee, ornamental as multivoltinism plant resources. Since ancient times, Chrysanthemum indicum L. had been widely used as drug and tea. From 2000, breeding began and the three varieties "Manhyang", "Geumhyang", Gamro" were developed so far. As demand has increased, growth traits of "Wonhyang" has been tested and fostered to report growth characteristics of "Wonhyang". Methods and Results: It is used New variety "Wonhyang" that were forstered in Gyeongsangnam-do Agricultural Research & Extension Services. After going through selection, proliferation and characteristics of CI0901, production performance test carried out in 2012~2013. As a result, it had named as "Gamkuk 4" in high quality, quantity and of strong in the disease. Local adaptability trial test carried out in 2014~2015. Conclusion: "Wonhyang" was a good growth in plant height, lengths of branches. Leaf color is light green, flower color is light yellow. Disease and pest resistance of "Wonhyang" is relatively better than "Manhyang". Since plant height is small and plant width is big, "Wonhyang" is available for medicine, food and landscaping. As a result of local adaptability trial test, Yield(131.1㎏/10a) of three region Hamyang,Hapcheon,Changnyeongis 10% higher than "Manhyang". Based on the results of this study, "Wonhyang" was to be registered for a new breed through the breed fostering council.

The number of fine-root was investigated in mixed organic fertilizer and chemical fertilizer most pieces 20.0 and 17.0. Fresh weight, which is directly related to yield were mixed organic fertilizer to 55.7 g the highest in the number of fine-root and the longest root length. Conclusion : For the increasing the yield that Pharmacological effect, organic fertilizer is effective to increase the number of fine-root high which high contented with saponins.

        Cysteine protease (CP) is one of the well-studied proteolytic enzymes in plants. This class of protease has been implicated in various physiological aspects of developmental stages in plants including seed germination, senescence, and disease immunity. A handful of studies assigned plants cysteine protease in different molecular battlefield under a few selected pathosystems, and initially extricated complex molecular mechanism of resistance. However, its potential use as an agent of resistance to diseases in rice has never been explored. This study demonstrates the function of CP specifically in rice - Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (Xoo) pathosystem. The CP -encoding full-length cDNA was cloned from Brassica rapa and transformed into japonica rice cv. ‘Gopumbyeo’. The gene was overexpressed under the control of CaMV35S promoter in pFLC vector. Blast analysis of the conserved domain of the gene confirmed its affinity to Peptidase_CIA family. RT-PCR analysis showed that the gene was constitutively expressed in all tissues tested. Regulation of rice resistance through cysteine protease activity is evident in overexpression lines which exhibited an enhanced resistance to four Korean Xoo isolates. Further analyses will be carried out to uncover the specific role of CP in rice-Xoo interaction.
