        우리나라는 1996년 WTO/SPS(동식물검역협정)에 따라 검역병해충제도를 정비하였으며, 해외병해충의 위험으로부 터 자국내 생물자원과 자연환경을 보호하기 위하여 다양한 노력을 하고 있다. 현재까지의 수입식물 검역과정에서 검출된 병해충을 분석한 결과 병해충 검출건수는 수입량이 늘어나면서 증가하는 추세이다(00년 6,233건 → 17년 12,749건). 하지만 식물의 수입 유형에 따라 곡류, 사료류 등 비재식용 식물의 경우 병해충 검출률은 07년 이후 감소하고 있으며(07년 9.8% → 17년 3.3%), 묘목류, 종자류 등 재식용 식물의 경우 11년 이후로 지속적으로 증가하고 있어(11년 7.9% → 17년 22.0%) 재식용 식물을 통한 해외 병해충의 유입 위험도가 가증되고 있는 상황이다. 따라서 우리는 검역본부에서 운영하고 있는 자체 전산시스템인 병해충정보시스템(PIS)을 이용하여 2000년 이후 식물검역과 정에서 발견된 병해충 검출동향과 수입 유형에 따른 검출동향을 비교분석하고, 2016년 대비 2017년 병해충 검출동향을 파악하였다.

        Jeon-Nam province has the largest number of managed honey bee(Apis cerana) colonies before 2009 years ago, which produce the highest quantity of honey in the Korea; however, almost colony were collapsed by Sacbrood Virus(SBV) in jeon-nam apiaries. We thus conducted a molecular survey of honey bee RNA viruses, Nosema microsporidia, Foul broods and fungal disease(Chalk brood and Stone brood) associated with environmental conditions in apiaries and differential A. cerana hives in Joun-nam province. We found the presence of black queen cell virus (BQCV), Israel Acute Paralysis Virus and Nosema apis. Sacbrood virus(SBV) was detected in the tested samples. Our results demonstrate that honey bee RNA viruses and N. apis are present in joen-nam province apiaries, and some might be related environment conditions(temperature and moisture).

        Male and female strobilus production was assessed annually over a five-year period for a clonal seed orchard of sugi (Cryptomeria japonica D. Don) in Korea. Clonal fertility and fertility variation, expressed by both sibling coefficient and coefficient of variation in strobilus production among 40 orchard clones, were reported. Fertility varied among clones and among years, producing five-year averages per ramet of 464.3 and 971.1 for female and male strobili, respectively. The correlation between female and male strobilus production was positive in each of the five years studied and statistically significant with the exception of one poor flowering year. The clonal status number (Ns), a measure of genetic diversity, was calculated based on the observed clonal fertility variation, varying from 27.6 (N = 40) in the poorest flowering year (2002) to 35.8 in the best year (2005). On average (pooled), the relative status number was 95% of the census number (N). Variation of female fertility was higher than that of male fertility for the five consecutive years, and the status numbers of female and male parents reflected this variation. The pooled Ns estimation from all five years was higher than any single year, implying that genetic diversity would increase when seeds collected from different years are pooled.         This study was conducted to assess genetic diversity among 16 genotypes of boxthorn (Lycium chinensis Mill.) using inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) markers. The 18 ISSR primers out of 100 primers showed the amplification of 101 reproducible fragments. A total of 56 DNA fragments were polymorphic with an average 3.1 polymorphic bands per primer. The polymorphic primers were divided into 16 anchored primers and 2 non-anchored primers. All of the anchored primers were di-nucleotide repeat motif, and polymorphism level was higher in the primers with poly GA and CT motif than CA and GT motif primers. Based on polymorphism, cluster analysis was conducted by the unweighted pair-group method with arithmetic average (UPGMA) methods. Sixteen boxthorn varieties and accessions were separated into 2 distinctive groups and genetic distance of cluster ranged from 0.82 to 0.97. Eighteen markers were able to distinguish every variety. Therefore, ISSR markers may be suitable for characterizing the large numbers of germplasms and fingerprinting of boxthorn varieties.

        벼 약배양에 있어서 배양약의 viability의 변화를 관찰하고자 밀양 2003, 대청벼, 치악벼를 재료로 품종 및 저온전처리, 약의 갈변에 따른 호흡율의 변화를 2~3일 간격으로 조사하였다. 화분의 발육시기에 따른 배양전 약의 호흡활성은 개화직전에 가장 높았으며, 배양적기인 stage 3~4에서의 호흡율은 12.46 O2 n mode/ml/h/another이었다. 배양약의 호흡활성의 변화는 3~9일경에 1차 정점을, 9~11일경에 2차 정점을 나타냈으며, Callus 형성능이 높은 대청벼에서 가장 높게 나타났다. 저온전처리는 배양 초기의 호흡활성을 저하시켰으나 15일경부터는 무처리구 보다 높은 경향이었다. 또한 저온전처리는 약의 갈변을 촉진하였으며, 갈변약에서 호흡활성이 높았다.
