목적 : 본 연구는 만 50세 이상 성인에서 녹내장, 황반변성, 당뇨병성망막병증의 의사진단여부와 삶의 질의 관 련성을 알아보고자 하였다.
방법 : 국민건강영양조사 제7기(2016~2018) 자료 중 만 50세 이상의 성인으로 녹내장, 황반변성, 당뇨병성망 막병증의 의사진단여부에 따라 현재의 건강상태를 묻는 EQ-5D와의 관계를 분석하였으며, p<0.050인 경우 유의 한 값으로 판단하였다.
결과 : 녹내장, 황반변성, 당뇨병성망막병증에 영향을 주는 요인은 공통적으로 연령이었다. 이들 안질환과 삶의 질의 관계에서 녹내장과 당뇨망막병증은 일상 활동에서의 불편함이 있는 것으로 보였으나 통계적 유의성은 없었 다. 반면 황반변성은 자기관리 능력을 상실시킬 수 있는 위험이 유의하게 큰 것으로 나타났다[Odds ratio: 2.56(95% CI:1.05-6.25)].
결론 : 본 연구에서 녹내장, 황반변성, 당뇨망막병증과 같은 주요 안질환은 연령과 관련이 있으며, 황반변성은 자기관리능력과 같은 삶의 질을 저하시킨다는 것을 확인하였다
목적: 본 연구는 연령증가에 따른 안경굴절검안에 있어서 조절반응과 조절지체 간의 변화량의 영향 관계를 검정하는데 있다.
방법 : 연령증가에 따른 원점과 근점의 자극에 대응하는 조절 반응점 (ARf, ARn)을 연구하기 위해서, 선조 검영기를 사용하여 정시 74개 (남: 37, 여: 37)의 단안을 대상으로 굴절검사를 진행하였다. MEM 0.4 시력카드의 스넬린 (Snellen chart) E 단일문자를 검영기헤드 (No 18235, WelchAllyn, USA) 전면에 부착한 선조 검영기를 사용하여 조절 반응을 확인하였다.
결과 : 연령증가에 따른 원점 조절반응의 경우Ⅰ>Ⅱ, Ⅲ, Ⅳ의 유의한 결과를 보였고, 나머지 근점 조절반응과 조절지체는 Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ<Ⅳ의 결과를 보여주었다. 연령증가에 따른 원점 조절반응과 조절지체 간의 통계적 조절효 과는 Ⅰ·Ⅱ〉Ⅰ·Ⅲ〉Ⅰ·Ⅳ의 유의한 결과를 보였다.
결론 : 40대 이후 연령의 증가에 따른 시축상의 원점 조절반응의 절댓값과 조절지체는 각각 감소하고 증가함에 따라 원거리 안경굴절검사를 위한 안와 내 조절반응의 기준점을 달리 적용하여야 한다.
Osteoporosis is a common disease characterized by bone mass reduction, leading to an increased risk of bone fracture, and it is caused by an imbalance of osteoblastic bone formation and osteoclastic bone resorption. Current osteoporosis drugs aim to reduce the risk of bone fracture, either by increasing osteoblastic bone formation or decreasing osteoclastic bone resorption. However, osteoblasts and osteoclasts are closely coupled, such that any reagent altering the differentiation or activity of one eventually affects the other. This tight coupling between osteoblasts and osteoclasts not only limits the therapeutic efficacy but also threatens the safety of osteoporosis drugs. This review will discuss the biological mechanisms of action of currently approved medications for osteoporosis treatment, focusing on the osteoblast–osteoclast coupling.
당귀는 미나리과에 속하는 약용식물로서 한국, 일본, 중국 등에서 재배된다. 본 실험의 목적은 형광등과 LED 광조사가 당귀 생육의 발달과 기능성 물질로 알려진 Decursinol angelate와 Decursin의 생성에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 수행하였다. 당귀 ‘만추’ 종자를 우레탄 스폰지에 파종 후 4주간 유리온실에서 육묘하였다. 본엽이 3 매 전개된 120주를 저면관수 시스템에 이식하였다. LED [적색: peak wavelength 660nm, 청색: peak wavelength 455nm, white = 3:2:4 비율]와 형광등 조건에서 최상부 군락에서 광합성유효광량자속은 180±7μmol·m-2·s-1로 동 일하였으며 16:8의 일장조건에서 5주간 재배하였다. LED 처리에서 당귀의 엽수는 유의적 차이는 없었지만, 형광등 처리와 비교하여 13.5% 증가하였으며, 형광등 처리에서 당귀의 엽장과 엽폭의 비율과 초장은 각각 24, 13% 증가하였으며 최대 근장은 두 그룹이 유사하였다. LED 처리한 당귀의 지상부 생체중과 건물중은 50, 42% 씩 증가하였으며, 지하부는 125, 45%씩 증가하였다. 형광등에서 재배된 당귀의 Decursin과 Decursinol angelate 는 LED처리한 당귀보다 지상부에서 단위 건물중당 188, 27% 증가하였으며, 지하부에서 78, 8% 각각 증가 하였다. LED와 형광등 처리에서 재배된 당귀의 한 개체 당 Decursin과 Decursinol angelate의 함량은 132과 122mg 이었다. 결론적으로 기능성 물질은 형광등에서 증가되고 생장은 LED 조건에서 증가되는 것으로 나타났다.
The possibility of using the chemical precipitation method of up-cycled ammonium paratungstate (APT) was studied and compared with the thermal decomposition method. WO3 particles were synthesized by chemical precipitation method using a 1: 2 weight ratio of APT: Di-water. For thermal decomposition, APT powder was heated for 4h at 600 oC in air atmosphere. The reaction products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray fluorescence spectrometer (XRF), particle size analyzer (PSA), and field emission-scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). Thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) of the upcycled APT allowed for the identification of the sequence of decomposition and reduction reactions that occurred during the heat treatment. TGA data indicated a total weight loss of 10.78% with the reactions completed in 658 oC. The XRD results showed that APT completely decomposed to WO3 by thermal decomposition and chemical precipitation. The particle size of the synthesized WO3 powders by thermal decomposition with 2 h of planetary milling was around 2 μm. During the chemical precipitation process, the particle size of the synthesized WO3 powders showed a round-shape with ~0.6 μm size.
Ecological toxicity testing of the whole-effluent from the ozone ballast water treatment system was conducted as specified in the quality assurance project plans (QAPP). The growth inhibition test with microalgae, acute aquatic toxicity test with the Rotifer reproduction, toxicity test (or population growth) with the Rotifer, survival and growth toxicity test with larval fish and sediment toxicity test with amphipod were carried out to evaluate ecological toxicity on the movile test barge.
The recycling method of enokitake cultural waste and the potentiality of second flush for enokitake were determined, because this fungus is not as prolific as the more commonly cultivated white rot fungi in the conversion of sawdust to mycelial mass. The mycelial growth of F. velutipes on several substrates, variously treated with rice bran was promoted at ratios of 10-20% (w/w) on all substrates, but suppressed at above ratios, although some difference was there. The mycelial densities generally increased correlated to the supplementation contents of rice bran. It could be concluded that F. velutipes preferred mild acidic to acidic conditions for mycelial growth, considering that the mycelial growth rate was highest on waste of pH 6.01, treated with 0.1 % Ca(OH)2 and on populus mixed waste of pH 6.02, non treated. The ranges of substrate bulk densities, which was pertinent for mycelial linear growth were from B.D. (g/cc) 0.17 to 0.23 on waste and populus mixed waste all. The pertinent contents of rice bran supplementation in bottle cultivation was from 20 to 30% on waste and 20% on populus mixed waste, considering the requried duration for pinheading and fruiting yields. Standard bulk density for filling and utilizing the waste and populus mixed waste for commercial f. velutipes cultivation were B.D.(g/cc) 0.19 ~ 0.23, and 0.23~ 0.25, which could be conversed to 510~ 540g/900m1 and 520~ 570g/900m1, respectively, The second flush of F. velutipes was tried and the re-inoculation by sawdust and liquid spawn showed somewhat good results, indicating the potentiality of second crop and suggesting further research for it.
This study was undertaken to examine the feasibility of black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia) as substrates for several edible mushrooms. For the cultivation of several edible and/or medicinal fungi on black locust, optimum bulk densities, synthetic or semisynthetic additives, natural additives and pretreatment methods were investigated. Fruit body yields of the fungi on various sawdust media composed of different wood species were also analyzed for testing the capability of black locust as a substrate for mushroom production. Mycelial growths decreased proportional when the bulk density increased. The most suitable carbon and nitrogen sources as additives to promote the mycelial growth were sucrose (2%, w/w) and ammonium phosphate (0.2%, w/w) respectively. When corn-powder and beer-waste as natural additives were added to sawdust of black locust showed the significant growth of mycelia. And the optimum mixing ratio was 10:2:1 (sawdust: corn-powder: beer-waste, w/w). Black locust after cold water treatment showed the outstanding mycelial growths. Any significant changes of pH, moisture content (%) and dry-weight losses (%) could not be found among culture substrates (sawdust of black locust, oak and poplar wood) examined before and after harvesting of fruit bodies. Yield of fruit bodies on black locust culture media were comparable with those culture media composed with oak and poplar wood. The present work indicated strongly the potentiality of black locust as raw materials for edible and medicinal mushrooms.
