'Zu Bang Moon', a book of cooking, was written in Korean in the 17th century by Mr. Hwa. Various cooking methods of traditional foods were described in this book. The kinds of cookingfoods were Wine 28, Guksu (noodle) 3, Side dish 23, Seasoning 10, and Dessert 10. The materials used in the cooking foods were cereals, vegetables, fishes, meats, etc. 9 kind of Seasonings used in cooking foods such as salt, and herbs such as black pepper. The cooking methods were different and complicated. The way of heating were also different such as to stew, to boil, to steam, to pan-boil, to frying, etc. Utensils and table wares used for processing and cooking were poor and specific. The measuring units were not accurate and unscientific. Many of special words and expressions which are not used today in cooking and processing were, reviewed.

A new standard rose cultivar ‘Big Bang’ was bred from the cross between Yellow standard cultivar ‘Landora’ and Yellow standard cultivar ’Birdy’ at the National Institute of Horticulture & Herbal Science. The cross was made in 2005 and ‘Big Bang’ was finally selected in 2011 after investigating characteristics for three years from 2009 to 2011. ‘Big Bang’, a red standard cultivar grows vigorously and has Crown Gall Resistnat. The major characteristics of this cultivar are 119.8 stems/㎡/year in yield, 99.0±12.6 cm in length of cut flower, 13.5±0.3 cm in flower diameter, 40.0±3.2 in petal number, and 9.0±0.4 days in vase life. This cultivar can be propagated by both cutting and grafting. The consumer’s preference of this cultivar is relatively higher than that of control cultivar, ‘Vital’.

본 연구는 예비 지구과학 교사들이 가지고 있는 빅뱅에 대한 구체적인 개념을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 선행 연구를 통해 다양한 대안 개념들을 갖고 있을 것으로 예상하고, 5문항으로 이루어진 개방형 검사를 적용하여 빅뱅에 대한 예비 지구과학 교사들의 개념을 조사하였다. 이 연구는 국립 사범대 4학교에서 지구과학교육을 전공하는 학생들 중 천문학 강좌를 이수하였거나 수강 중인 118명의 예비 지구과학 교사들을 대상으로 이루어졌다. 연구에서 사용된 질문지는 미국에서 수년간 천문학을 가르쳐 온 Lineweaver와 Davis가 학생들이 갖고 있는 몇 가지 공통된 대안 개념들을 경험적으로 발견하여 개발한 문항들을 번안하여 우리나라 학생들이 이해할 수 있는 수준으로 진술하였다. 예비 교사들의 개념을 조사한 결과, 빅뱅의 공간 팽창 개념에 대한 이해가 불확실하게 정립되어 있으며 다양한 대안 개념이 나타남을 확인하였다.

This paper deals with Hyang-Yak Chip Seong Bang, which was made by Hyo-Tong Yu, Jung-Rye Noh and Yun-Duk Park by the order of King Sechong in 1431 and published in eighty-five volumes in 1433. This work includes on hundred three families and two hundred eighty-one species plants, and makes a comprehensive survey of past studies on some medical books. To publish this work, some specialists such as Jung-Rye Noh were sent to China and they made an exchange of opinions with some specialists of China to correct some facts. Cullen soryliforia and Trigonella foenumgraecum of Laguminosae were described as a subtropical plant or tropical plant which had not been produced in our country Also, it includes several anti-cancer plants such as Panax schinseng and Rubia akane that are very helpful to the treatment of diseases of adult people.
