        The effect of gasoline-ethanol blends on performance and NOx emission was investigated in a SI engine with port and direct fuel injection systems. The 1-D cycle simulation program of GT-Power was utilized to analyze the performance of thermodynamic cycle. The results showed that the brake torques are increased with the addition of ethanol to gasoline because of the improvements of volumetric efficiency. The engine with direct ethanol blends injection system has more power than that with port gaoline injection system, which is caused by the higher latent heat of ethanol.

        The experiment was performed using the cleaning precipitator To investigate the absorption efficiency of the SOX/NOX of the aqueous ammonia solution. Concentration of the cleaning liquid is 0.1, 0.5, and 1.0% with increasing absorption efficiency has improved. However, the reaction shown only a difference in time.         Impedancemetric NOx (NO and NO2) gas sensors were designed with a stacked-layer structure and fabricated using LaCrxCo1-xO3 (x = 0, 0.2, 0.5, 0.8 and 1) as the receptor material and Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3 plates as the solid-electrolyte transducer material. The LaCrxCo1-xO3 layers were prepared with a polymeric precursor method that used ethylene glycol as the solvent, acetyl acetone as the chelating agent, and polyvinylpyrrolidone as the polymer additive. The effects of the Co concentration on the structural, morphological, and NOx sensing properties of the LaCrxCo1-xO3 powders were investigated with powder Xray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy, and its response to 20~250 ppm of NOx at 400 oC (for 1 kHz and 0.5 V), respectively. When the as-prepared precursors were calcined at 700 oC, only a single phase was detected, which corresponded to a perovskite-type structure. The XRD results showed that as the Co concentration of the LaCrxCo1-xO3 powders increased, the crystal structure was transformed from an orthorhombic phase to a rhombohedral phase. Moreover, the LaCrxCo1-xO3 powders with 0 ≤ x < 0.8 had a rhombohedral symmetry. The size of the particles in the LaCrxCo1-xO3 powders increased from 0.1 to 0.5 μm as the Co concentration increased. The sensing performance of the stack-structured LaCrxCo1-xO3/Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3 sensors was found to divide the impedance component between the resistance and capacitance. The response of these sensors to NO gas was more sensitive than that to NO2 gas. Compared to other impedancemetric sensors, the LaCr0.8Co0.2O3/Li1.3Al0.3Ti1.7(PO4)3 sensor exhibited good reversibility and reliable sensingresponse properties for NOx gases.

It was used as the oxidizing agent sodium chlorite. Use the oxidizer is nitrogen monoxide was oxidized to nitrogen dioxide. and was tested pH adjustment to increase the efficiency of oxidizing. An aqueous solution of sodium hydroxide was used for the nitrogen dioxide absorbent. Low concentration of the solution, it showed a high efficiency. improves the absorption efficiency by add additives.

        세계적으로 급증하는 전력수요에대처하고, CO2 배출을 줄이고자 인구가 밀집되어 있는 도 심지에 복합화력 발전소가 건설되고 있다. 환경규제가 계속적으로 강화됨에 따라 NOx 배출량을 줄이고 자 저 NOx 버너, SCR 등 여러 가지 설비들을 설치하고 있다. 본 연구는 경기도 고양시 소재의 일산열병합발전소 1개소에서 배출되는 질소산화물을 TMS를 이용하 여 배출계수를 산정하여 이를 전산유체동역학(CFD)에 적용하여 질소산화물의 거동을 살펴보고, 현장 실 측 결과와 비교 검토하였다. 실측 기간 중 측정 시간에 따른 주 풍향․풍속의 순간적인 변화로 인해 실측 결과와 CFD 모델링 결과 의 차이가 나타날 수 있으나, 모델링 결과와 실측 결과는 대부분 예측지점에서 유사한 농도로 나타났다. 향후 주변농도를 고려한 기여농도를 산출하여 실측농도에 가까운 예측농도 도출이 가능 할 것으로 판단 된다.

        전 세계적으로 증가하고 있는 선박 배출가스 규제를 위해 국제해사기구(IMO)는 배출되고 있 는 가스의 부정적 환경영향에 대한 부각과 함께 법적인 규제를 강화하고 있다. 국제해사기구(IMO) 규 제에 따라, 발트 해 연안을 지나는 모든 배들은 배출가스 제거창치를 장착해야 한다. 다양한 최신 탈황/ 탈질 장치가 소개되고 있는 가운데, 선박의 제한 된 공간을 활용한 폐 세정액 회수 공정 또한 중요한 기술로 발전 가능하다. 탈황/탈질 장치 후단에서 발생되는 폐 세정액은 질산암모늄, 황산암모늄과 같은 유용부산물을 포함하고 있다. 본 연구는 선택적 유기용매 염석 법, 저온 결정화 추출, 열 감압농축을 이 용하여 유용부산물로서 질산암모늄을 추출하였다. 열 감압농축으로 얻어진 부산물을 반복적 유기용매 추 출방법으로 정제했을 시 가장 높은 순도의 질산암모늄이 추출 되었다. 분석 장비를 통해 추출 된 유용 부산물의 성분 및 특성을 평가하였다.

        PURPOSES: In areas of high traffic volume, such as expressway across large cities, the amount of nitrogen oxides (NOx) emitted into the atmosphere as air pollution can be significant since NOx gases are the major cause of smog and acid rain. Recently, the importance of NOx removal has arisen in the world. Titanium dioxide (TiO2), that is one of photocatalytic reaction material, is very efficient for removing NOx. The NOx removing mechanism of TiO2 is the reaction of solar photocatalysis. Therefore, TiO2 in road structure concrete need to be contacted with ultraviolet rays (UV) to be activated. In general, TiO2 concretes are produced by replacement of TiO2 as a part of concrete binder. However, considerable portion of TiO2 in concrete cannot contact with the pollutant in the air and UV. Therefore, TiO2 penetration method using the surface penetration agents is attempted as an alternative in order to locate TiO2 to the surface of concrete structure. METHODS: This study aimed to evaluate the NOx removal efficiency of photocatalytic concrete due to various TiO2 application method such as mix with TiO2, surface spray(TiO2 penetration method) on hardened concrete and fresh concrete using surface penetration agents. The NOx removal efficiency of TiO2 concrete was confirmed by NOx Analyzing System based on the specification of ISO 22197-1. RESULTS: The NOx removal efficiency of mix with TiO2 increased from 11 to 25% with increasing of replacement ratio from 3 to 7%. In case of surface spray on hardened concrete, the NOx removal efficiency was about 50% due to application amount of TiO2 with surface penetration agents as 300, 500 and 700g/m2. The NOx removal efficiency of surface spray on fresh concrete due to all experimental conditions, on the other hand, which was very low within 10%. CONCLUSIONS: It was known that the TiO2 penetration method as surface spray on hardened concrete was a good alternative in order to remove the NOx gases for concrete road structures.

        In recent years, researchers have put a considerable effort to decrease the emission of harmful gaseous pollutants to the atmosphere. In order to remove simultaneously SO₂ and NOx from the flue gas of small and medium-sized ship, we designed minimal wet scrubber inside a compact multistage modular system. In this study we proceed experiment of elemental technology at each stage of the scrubber. The each stage is oxidation of NO which is the main component of NOx, and removal of SO₂, respectively. NaClO₂ was used to oxidize NO gas, and NaOH was used to remove SO₂gas. The maximum NO conversion efficiency and the SO₂ removal ficiency are both indicate 100%.

        NOx from the thermal power plants are NO and NO₂. This work investigated the chemical/physical characteristics and SCR efficiency of newly prepared catalysts including tungsten (WO₃), molybdenum (MoO₃) and antimony (SbO₃) based on vanadia(V₂O5) over titania(TiO2). As a result of the examination, the surface area of the catalysts promoted with additional metals was larger and the de-NOx efficiency also was enhanced with temperature. The most efficient catalytst was V₂O5/TiO₂-WO₃(10%) at 200 °C. Such a high efficiency could contribute to reduce the ammonia slip.

        Various efforts have been explored to save the cost in many industrial fields. In order to recover the residual thermal energy from the flue gas, an extreme high efficiency heat exchanger is planning to install at a power plant. The gas temperature will be reduced to 40°C from 115°C. Thus gas buoyancy decreases, and dispersion of nitrogen oxides is expected to deteriorate as increasing relative humidity. In this study, the conversion of nitrogen monoxide to nitrogen dioxide and dispersion regime are investigated through computational modeling. Nitrogen dioxide which indicates 0.1 ppm at 85 m from the ground could be propagated to 620 m at 115°C of the flue gas, whilst when cooled down to 40°C, it expands up to 750 m. The ground level influence area showed more expansion of dispersion, approximately to 930 m.

        소각로 내 공기 주입은 연소가스의 체류시간, 미연분 제거 및 출구가스 온도 제어 등의 많은 영향을 끼친다. 이에 따라 2차 연소용 공기량을 변화시켜 충분한 체류시간을 확보하고 850℃ 이상의 출구가스 온도를 유지하며, 높은 turbulent를 관리함으로써 안정적인 소각로 운영이 되어야만 한다. 본 연구에서는 현재 운영 중인 소각장의 소각로를 설계하고, 평균 일일 소각량을 바탕으로 1차 공기량을 산정한 후 2차 공기량을 변화하여 CFD 프로그램(Fluent)을 통해 이론적인 공기유동을 규명하였다. 또한 산정된 공기량을 바탕으로 실제 운영 중인 소각장에 적용함으로써 최적의 연소조건을 도출하였다. CFD simulation 결과 1.2차 공기비는 75:25가 최적의 결과로 나타났으며, 2차 공기 분사노즐 전 후면 유속 비는 1:3에서 가장 우수한 결과로 나타났다. 또한, 실제 운영 중인 소각로에 적용한 결과 적절한 소각로 출구온도는 질소산화물 제거 효율 및 일산화탄소 발생농도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

        본 연구에서는 무격막식 전기분해 처리된 해수를 산화제로하는 NO 산화반응의 특성에 대해 실험적으로 살펴보았다. 폐순환 정전류 전기분해 시스템을 통해전해 시간이 길어질수록 전해수의 유효 염소농도와 온도, 염소산 이온의 비율이 증가함을 확인하였다. 전해수가 채워진 버블링 반응기에서 전해수의 유효염소농도와 온도에 비례하여 NO2로 산화되는 NO의 양이 증가하였다. 또한 산화되어 생성된 NO2는 전해수에 용해되어 HNO3- 이온으로 존재함을 확인하였다.

        One of main catalysts for De-NOx in SCR is a V2O5/TiO2, and this work formulated powdery catalysts focusing ultimately on corrugate catalytic support. The prepared catalyst consisted of anatase TiO2. Amount of the added vanadium oxide determined the viscosity of catalyst slurry, which is important for washcoat for a final corrugate type catalytic reactor. The test showed a proportional relation between adsorption amount of ammonia and specific surface area. De-NOx efficiency could be obtained up to 96.3 % at 400℃ with a spacial velocity of 4,000hr-1.

        In the present study, potassium and caesium doped Ag/ catalysts were synthesized by simple wet impregnation method and evaluated for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NOx using methane. TEM analysis and diffraction patterns demonstrated the finely dispersed Ag particles. BET surface measurements reveal that the prepared materials have moderate to high surface area and the metal amount found from ICP analysis was well matching with the theoretical loadings. The synthesized K-Ag/ and Cs-Ag/ catalysts exhibited a promotional effect on deNOx activity in the presence of and . The long-term isothermal studies at under oxygen rich condition showed the superior catalytic properties of the both alkali promoted samples. The crucial catalytic properties of materials are attributed to NO adsorption properties detected by the NO TPD.

        본 연구는 이상적인 실험환경이 아닌 실제 일반국도(국도 3호선)를 분석 대상으로 실시간으로 수집된 교통자료와 NOx 대기 오염 측정 자료를 이용하여 이들 사이의 관계를 규명하고 그 특성을 분석하고자 한다. 또한 이러한 관계를 이용하여 현장에서 실제 적용이 가능하며 대기오염도를 모니터링을 할 수 있는 일반국도의 차량배출가스로 인한 NOx 대기오염도 추정 모형을 개발하고자 한다. 모형의 구축에 있어서 측정 장비 및 기타 변동요인으로 인한 특이점을 제거하기 위하여 로버스트 분석을 이용하였고 바람의 영향을 고려하지 않은 경우와 바람의 영향을 고려한 경우에 대해서 모형을 구축하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 교통정책 시행에 따른 차량배출가스로 인한 대기오염 현황을 파악하고 교통정책의 환경적 효과를 평가하는데 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

        [ LaMeO3 ](Me = Cr, Co) powders were prepared using the polymeric precursor method. The effects of the chelating agent and the polymeric additive on the synthesis of the LaMeO3 perovskite were studied. The samples were synthesized using ethylene glycol (EG) as the solvent, acetyl acetone (AcAc) as the chelating agent, and polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) as the polymer additive. The thermal decomposition behavior of the precursor powder was characterized using a thermal analysis (TG-DTA). The crystallization and particle sizes of the LaMeO3 powders were investigated via powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM), and particle size analyzer, respectively. The as-prepared precursor primarily has LaMeO3 at the optimum condition, i.e. for a molar ratio of both metal-source (a : a) : EG (80a : 80a) : AcAc (8a) inclusive of 1 wt% PVP. When the as-prepared precursor was calcined at 700˚C, only a single phase was observed to correspond with the orthorhombic structure of LaCrO3 and the rhombohedral structure of LaCoO3. A solid-electrolyte impedance-metric sensor device composed of Li1.5Al0.5Ti1.5(PO4)3 as a transducer and LaMeO3 as a receptor has been systematically investigated for the detection of NOx in the range of 20 to 250 ppm at 400˚C. The sensor responses were able to divide the component between resistance and capacitance. The impedance-metric sensor for the NO showed higher sensitivity compared with NO2. The responses of the impedance-metric sensor device showed dependence on each value of the NOx concentration.
