The genus Dirrhagofarsus Fleutiaux, 1935 is firstly reported from Korea with three species, Dirrhagofarsus lewisi (Fleutiaux,1900), D. modestus (Fleutiaux, 1923), and D. unicolor (Hismatsu, 1960). Among them, D. unicolor was described asa ‘form(=f.)’ of D. modestus by Hismatsu (1960). In this study, we re-establish the status of this species as proper species,Dirrhagofarsus unicolor. We provided a key to Korean Dirrhagofarsus species, diagnoses, and photographs for each species.

This taxonomic study on the genus Scutellathous is only recognized a species. S. porrecticollis (Lewis, 1894) in Korea. The previous record of Athous (=Medakathous) jactatus (Lewis, 1984) is revealed as the misientification of S. porrecticollis. We also describe and illustrate Subscutellathous koreanicus gen. and sp. nov. from Korea. This new genus si compared to the most closed genus Scutellathous by the basis of diagnostic characters in generic level.

The genus Miaenia Pascoe, 1864 (Coleoptera Cerambycidae) in Korea is taxonomically reviewed in this study. Miaenia was erected by Pascoe (1864) based on the type species M. marmore. Miaenia has been accepted as a subgenus of Sciades for a long time, howerer, Roguet (2012) considered Sciades as a synonym of the genus Miaenia. Previously, two species, M. fasciata fasciata (Matsushita, 1943) and M. maritima Tsherepanov, 1979, of the genus have been reported in South Korea. In this paper, M. tonsa (Bates) is recorded in Korea for the first time. A key to the Korean Miaenia species, diagnoses, illustrations of diagnostic including male genitalia are provided.

The family Scelionidae is distributed all around the world, which has approximately 3,000 species within 150 genera in the world. To date 39 species of 15 genera from 3 subfamilies in Scelionidae are recorded in South Korea. In this study, we report a new record of the genus Idiris with one species. There are many parasitory and predatory insects specializing on spider eggs. Among scelionids, some species (Baeus achaearneus, Comastichus zopheros, Idris sp.) parasitize spider eggs. However, there was no Korean record for scelionid wasps parasitizing in egg sacs of spider. Based on morphology, ecology, and DNA identification, we recognized this species, Idris sp., being new to Korea. All examined specimens and DNA samples are deposited in Kunsan National University.

The genus Toxares (Braconidae: Aphidiinae) is reported for the first time in Korea. Members of Toxares are known as solitary koinobiont endoparasitoids especially specific for aphidine aphids. In this study, Toxares deltiger (Haliday, 1833) is found as new to Korea, which has a wide host range for 31 aphid species within Aphidinae. Thus, this species would be useful as natural enemy for biological control in the future. Diagnosis and host information are included.

Anoplophora isa moderate-sized genus with 36 species of woodboring cerambycid beetles that occur throughout Asia, with the highest diversity in the tropical and subtropical region. Two species, A. chinensis (Forster) and A. glabripennis (Motchulsky) are known in the Korean peninsula. The latter is an infamous invasive species, commonly called the Asian longhorned beetle, in the U.S. causing economic damage on hard woods. For the present study, we carried out field surveys from 2010 to 2013 and literature review on the host plants of Korean Anoplophora species. A. chinensis is associated with 14 host plant species in 4 families and A. glabripennis 17 species of 11 families. Most importantly, the Manchurian striped maple, Acer tegmentosum Maxim. (Aceraceae), is newly recognized as a host of the Asian longhorned beetle. In the present study, a revised host plant checklist of Korean Anoplophora species is provided, with correction of scientific and Korean names of the host plants.

A new species of the genus Onychiurus is described from Korea(Jeoksang Mountain in Muju). The genus Onychiurus was elected by Gervais in 1841 with type species Podura ambulans Linneus, 1758. 49 specis of Onychiurus have been reported worldwide, of which only one species, O. polychaetosus, have been recorded from Korea. This genus is characterized by postantennal organ with compound vesicles, antennal Ⅲ sense organ with 2 sensory clubs, furca reduced to a small area of fine ganulation with 2+2 posterior setulae arranged in a row, seta d0 on a head and anal spines present. Onychiurus sp.1 is characterized by the peculiar distribution of dorsal (32/0,2-3,2-3/33333) and ventral (1/000/0101) pseudocelli that allow to distinguish it from the other congeneric species. Antennal segment Ⅲ with four guard setae, two sensory rods, two bent and granulated sensory clubs and five papillae irregular in shape. Postantennal organ consists of 10-12 finely granulated vesicles and tibiotarsi with distal whorl composed of nine setae.
