An issue of globalized and competitive business environment is a transformation of manufacturing strategy for rapidly product development. To copy with these trends, building up a market from various product is becoming conspicuous the core strategy of manufacture. The use of the Internet and Web-based instruction (WBI), that is, individual instruction delivered wholly or in part via the Internet or an organization's intranet, is growing at an amazing pace in China. This article describes the status of using the Internet and WBI for learning in China, and examines the many cultural and pedagogical implications and challenges presented by WBI in China. The People's Republic of China is the third largest and the most populous country in the world. Because of a weak economic foundation and the difficulty of feeding an immensely large population, China is still a developing country. However, recently, China has been experiencing a rapid growth in the use of the Internet and its Web technologies, and many researchers are looking into the implications and impact of this phenomenon. The purpose of this article is to discuss the cultural and pedagogical implications related to the use of WBI in China. To this end, it synthesizes pertinent literature published both in the Western world and in China to reveal the status of using WBI in China and address the many challenges and issues presented by WBI there.

Recently, growth of internet causes rapid changes in many areas of statistics such as statistical computation and education. Especially, bootstrap is the most interesting statistical methods applying computer resampling simulation. In this study, we try to present how to use a method of bootstrap on the internet. We also develop to user a statistical system which is programed with java applet for user to handle easily.

Web-based services have fundamentally confidential problems due to characteristics of internet environment such as anonymity. These problems are serious obstacles to grow the web-based services. The security and confidence of web-based services rely on both service provider and users' opinion. But the former has difficulty in trusting the service provider and the latter takes too long time to propagete all users after converging their opinion. Therefore it is necessary to establish the objective and confidential evaluation and certification program for web-based service. In this paper, the internal and external web-based services evaluation and certification programs are compared and analyzed. The critical factors and evaluation methodology for secure and confidential web-based service are identified. Finally, this paper provides the improvement and strategy for web-based services evaluation and certification program.

In In-cheon, There are many small scale and minor Freight Forwarders take advantage of being linked with a port, an airport but their inefficient paper works cause raising of Logistics costs and losing of competitive power. In this study, we design a web based ocean forwarder information system for freight forwarder to solve these problems. So, this system will provide decreasing operation time, human resources, and accessing easily because of web based system, and finally decrease logistics cost and improve national competitive power.

본 논문에서는 웹 페이지의 배색에 따른 감성 평가치를 바탕으로 감성기반 웹 페이지 검색 시스템을 구현하였다. 구현된 시스템은 웹 페이지의 색상 정보를 자동으로 추출하여 데이터베이스에 색인하는 모듈과 감성 형용사가 주어졌을 때 감성과 관련된 색상 배색이 많이 포함된 웹 페이지를 내림차순으로 검색하는 모듈로 구성된다. 구현된 시스템의 타당성을 검증하기 위해 실제 웹 페이지를 대상으로 시스템이 검색한 순위와 사용자 설문조사와 전문가 평정에 의한 순위를 비교 분석한다. 사용자 설문조사 결과 18개의 감성 형용사 중 10개의 형용사에 대해 통계적으로 적합한 결과를 보였으며, 상/하위 5개의 사이트만을 고려한 전문가 평정에서는 14개의 형용사가 적합한 결과를 보였다.

본 연구에서는 과학 교과에 적합한 웹기반 프로젝트 수업과정을 설계하고 이를 수업 현장에 적용하여 중학생의 과학 학업 성취도와 학습 태도에 미치는 효과를 조사하였다. 웹기반 프로젝트 학습에서 학습자는 과제를 수행하기 위하여 웹을 활용하여 정보를 교수자, 학습자를 비롯한 여러 사람과 교환하였다. 남녀 공학의 중학교 3학년 4개 학급을 대상으로 실험 집단에 대하여 웹기반 프로젝트 수업, 그리고 통제 집단에 대하여는 전통적인 수업을 실시하였다. 웹기반 프로젝트 수업은 전통적인 수업에 비하여 학생들의 과학 학업 성취도와 학습 태도에 긍정적인 효과를 가져왔다. 이러한 웹기반 수업은 학업 성취 수준별 비교에서 특히 상위 집단의 학업 성취도를 향상시키는 데 효과적이었다. 또한, 웹기반 프로젝트 수업은 과학 교과에 대한 흥미 유도를 통하여 여학생들의 성차에 대한 부정적인 인식을 해소함으로써 과학학습 태도 향상에 유의미한 효과를 주었다.

Evaluating projects is one of the key activities in managing projects, and thus it should be implemented as a part of the entire project management system. However, currently deployed evaluation systems suffer from several deficiencies such as the lack of supporting distributed environment and integrity. In this paper, the web service technology is applied to evaluation management systems. The process of evaluation is designed based on the web service, and a pilot system is implemented to test the feasibility of the technology to the domain of project evaluation.

Autonomous mobile robots based on the Web have been already used in public places such as museums. There are many kinds of problems to be solved because of the limitation of Web and the dynamically changing environment. We present a methodology for intelligent mobile robot that demonstrates a certain degree of autonomy in navigation applications. In this paper, we focus on a mobile robot navigator equipped with neuro-fuzzy controller which perceives the environment, make decisions, and take actions. The neuro-fuzzy controller equipped with collision avoidance behavior and target trace behavior enables the mobile robot to navigate in dynamic environment from the start location to goal location. Most telerobotics system workable on the Web have used standard Internet techniques such as HTTP, CGI and Scripting languages. However, for mobile robot navigations, these tools have significant limitations. In our study, C# and ASP.NET are used for both the client and the server side programs because of their interactivity and quick responsibility. Two kinds of simulations are performed to verify our proposed method. Our approach is verified through computer simulations of collision avoidance and target trace.

Electrostatic spinnings were performed with the solutions of PAN/DMF to be nanofiber webs. The diameter of the fibers ranged from 200 nm to 1000 nm depending on the PAN concentration and on the applied DC voltage. The nanofibers were oxidatively stabilized and subsequently carbonized up to 1000℃ with carbonization yield of 40%. The bulk electric conductivity of the carbonized web increased form 6.8×10-3S/cm to 1.96 S/cm while the carbonizaton temperature increased from 700℃ to 1000℃.

최근 전자거래가 B2C에서 B2B로 변화하는 추세에 따라 협업적인 가상환경에서 협업적 제품 거래(CPC, Collaborative Product Commerce)는 기업간 전자거래의 한 부분으로 자리 잡아 가고 있다. 이에 따라 본 논문에서는 진정한 기업간 전자거래 실현을 위하여 제품의 라이프사이클에 관련된 글로벌 기업 및 고객이 제품정보 및 협업 프로세스를 공유하고, 응용시스템을 통합함으로써 기업간의 협동 작업을 지원하는 협업적 제품거래 통합 프레임워크를 제안한다. 제안한 프레임워크의 느슨한 구조의 통합을 위해서는 XML SOAP, WSDL 및 UDDI 기술과 같은 Web Service 기술을 기반으로 하고, 이러한 웹 서비스 기반하에 각기 다른 언어로 작성된 여러 플랫폼 상에서 실행되는 각 기업의 이 기종 어플리케이션들이 인터넷상에서 실시간 프로그램 방식으로 상호작용할 수 있도록 CPC 통합 프레임워크를 구현 하였다.

At present, most of web-based applications are on the basis of HTML-based form documents. These HTML-based form documents only play a role as user interfaces, but they don"t involve the procedures or rules of processing business works that aim to documents. However, form documents imply methods for treating documents, and these procedural knowledge embedded can utilize to actively perform business work processes. Procedural knowledge is defined in ERML(Executable Rule Markup Language), which is a XML-based rule markup language that has a format of Prolog rules. The ERML is not only executable in an inference engine, but also can be geared with WfMS (Workflow Management System) and can be used in a heterogeneous rule-based application. Thus, this paper proposes a ERML-based scheme for processing active documents as device for automating a workflow that involve a process of treating documents. Our active documents themselves involve declarative knowledge to support the process and control of business rules embedded in documents and the automation of processing documents. Also, we propose a framework for processing the defined active documents. In order to demonstrate the usefulness of the proposed framework, a prototype called ActiveWebForm is designed and implemented for a case of processing a request for requisition of IP(Internet Procurement) system. As a result, our approach is expected to contribute to intelligence and automation of Internet applications as processing documents by embedding declarative knowledge.

지구과학 학습 내용들은 교실이나 실험실에서 통제하기 어려운 내용들이 많다. 따라서 이를 극복할 수 있는 하나의 방안으로 가상현실 기술을 도입하여 웹상에서 활용할 수 있는 3D 가상현실 학습프로그램을 개발하였다. 개발된 프로그램은 701명의 중학교 학생들에게 투입되었다. 그 결과 몰입감을 통한 흥미유발 및 동기유발에 아주 긍정적인 효과가 있었으며, 공간지각 능력 향상에도 큰 도움이 되는 것으로 보여졌다.

This paper deals with developing a Web-based Solver NRO(Network Reliability Optimizer) for solving three classes of reliability redundancy optimization problems which are generated in series systems. parallel systems and complex systems. Inputs of NRO consisted in four parts. that is, user authentication. system selection. input data and confirmation. After processing of inputs through internet, NRO provides conveniently the optimal solutions for the given problems on the Web-site. To alleviate the risks of being trapped in a local optimum, HH(Hybrid-Heuristic) algorithm is incorporated in NRO for solving the given three classes of problems, and moderately combined GA(Genetic Algorithm) with the modified SA(Simulated Annealing) algorithm.

The fast growth of the area of Industrial Technology has brought about the drastic change in educational environments, especially for foreign language teaching. The most noticeable change is that the information which was usually under the control of instructors can now be directly conveyed to leaners throughout multiple kinds of information channels. With this unstoppable trend, the instructors no‘w strongly motivated to focus on various types of media app1ication. Given these facts, this paper main1y deals with the web-based instruction (WBI) among others, since WBI is a well-known and easily accessible type of instruction. In this study, WBI is approached with two different aspects. One is a functional aspect. The other is a psychological aspect. The WBI enables learners to choose any information on any fields, and it makes learners choose their own learning leve1 according to their needs and 1earning ability. In this paper, the future of WBI is a1so discussed with three different ang1es: software, hardware, and educationa1 diversity. In addition, this paper argues for the need to incorporate into foreign language teaching all advantages verified to be useful so far in both fields-traditional classroom. teaching and WBI.
