        We observed the osteological development of larval and juvenile red spotted grouper (Epinephelus akaara) in order to generate data for the assessment of skeletal deformities and to inform phylogenetic systematics research. Larvae and juveniles were obtained from a aquafarm in Muan-gun, Jeolla-namdo Province, Korea. The average water temperature at the time of breeding was 23.0°C and average water salinity was 33.0 psu. Freshly hatched fish larvae had not undergone any ossification, but ossification of the parasphenoid bone, which forms the base of the cranium, occurred as the juveniles reached an average body length (BL) of 2.49 mm. At the same time, ossification of the preopercle and opercle occurred in the operculum, and ossification of the maxilla, which forms the upper jaw, and the dentary bones, which form the lower jaw, began. In addition, ossification of the vertebra occurred by formation of 7 vertebral centra and the neural spine in the abdominal vertebra. When the juveniles reached an average (BL) of 5.22 mm, ossification of the nasal, lateral ethmoid, and alisphenoid bones occurred in the cranium; ossification of the endopterygoid and metapterygoid bones began in the palatine region; and ossification of the hypohyal and interhyal bones occurred in the hyoid arch. At an average (BL) of 20.9 mm, ossification of the basisphenoid bone in the cranium and the suborbital bone in the orbital region occurred. Ossification of the vertebra then occurred by the formation of long pairs of ribs from the third to the ninth abdominal vertebrae, completing osteological development.

        본 연구는 조선족 유치원 교사의 전문성 발달정도와 직무만족도는 어떠하며, 유아교사의 배경변인에 따라 전문성 발달정도와 직무만족도에 차이가 있는지 그리고 전문성 발달 정도와 직무만족도 간의 관계는 어떠 한지를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구결과를 살펴보면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조선족 유아교사의 전문성 발 달 정도는 높으며 이는 근무기관, 연령, 학력, 경력과 자격증 유무에 따라 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나 타났다. 둘째, 조선족 유아교사의 직무만족도는 높으며 이는 근무기관, 학력, 자격증 유무에 따라 유의미한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 조선족 유아교사의 전문성 발달 정도와 직무만족도는 높은 정적 상관 이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 조선족 유아교사의 전문성 발달을 위한 교사교육 프로그램 개발 혹은 유아교사들의 근무환경 개선에 도움이 되는 기초 자료를 제공하는데 의의가 있다.

        Early life stage mortality in fish is one of the problems faced by loach aquaculture. However, our understanding of immune system in early life stage fish is still incomplete, and the information available is restricted to a few fish species. In the present work, we investigated the expression of immune-related transcripts in loach during early development. In fishes, recombination-activating gene 1 (RAG-1) and sacsin (SACS) have been considered as immunological function. In this study, the expression of the both genes was assessed throughout the early developmental stages of loach using real-time PCR method. maRAG-1 mRNA was first detected in 0 dph, observed the increased mostly until 40 dph. Significant expression of maRAG-1 was detected in 0 to 40 dph. These patterns of expression may suggest that the loach start to develop its function after hatching. On the other hand, maSACS was detected in unfertilized oocyte to molura stages and 0 to 40 dph. maSACS mRNA transcripts were detected in unfertilized oocytes, suggesting that they are maternally transferred.

        Research on salinity stress has strongly increased over the last decade, as salinity stress is a main key factor limiting the global crop production in many regions of the world. In recent years, it is possible to obtain a large amount of genotypic data in a short time due to a reduction in genotyping costs. This wave of genomic information has effected the development of new strategies for the integration of molecular information in breeding programs. However, phenotyping is still a manual activity, and different from each species, environment, and trait. It often generates high labor costs, and can be sensitive to environmental changes, and sometimes includes the individual biased assessments from different people. There is a strong demand for phenotypic data of high quality. The current objective of phenomics is phenotyping a large number of individuals for many traits in a nondestructive manner and with good accuracy. Here we described the image-based technology as applied to alleviate the bottleneck for the development of high-throughput phenotyping platforms. Several trials to measure stress responses of rice plantlets based on image data under the salinity condition are underway to develop automation for the next-level of phenotyping.

        This study was conducted to develop the early maturing rice lines with genes conferring resistance to bacterial blight and rice stripe virus to enhance the adaptability in plain area. Unkwang carrying Xa3 was used as a recurrent parent and SR30075 carrying Xa4+xa5+Xa21+Stvb-i was used as a donor parent. RL1(Resistant Line, BC1F7), RL2, RL3, RL4, and RL5(BC2F6) were bred through bio-assay of K3a race inoculation and phenotypic selection of agronomic traits. The presence of introduced genes was confirmed by testing the resistance levels against bacterial blight and rice stripe virus and then double-checked by using DNA marker. RL1 has all target genes, Xa3+xa5+Xa21+Stvb-i. RL2, RL3, and RL5 have Xa3+Xa21+Stvb-i whereas RL4 has only Xa21. Rice lines carrying Stvb-i showed resistance reaction to rice stripe virus. The combinations of bacterial blight resistant genes(Xa3+xa5+Xa21 and Xa3+Xa21) were found to be promising, as the rice lines carrying these genes enhanced a strong resistant reaction against 16 bacterial blight isolates. Also, the inoculation of K3a race did not alter the brown rice yield, ripened grain ratio and kernel quality of brown rice compared to control. Although RL1 containing all the target resistance genes showed excellent resistance performance, it is not suitable to cultivate in plain area due to instability to lodging, 80% yield level than Unkwang, and low grain quality. RL5 backcrossed twice with Unkwang was found to be a promising line due to its effective resistance gene combination, Xa3+Xa21+Stvb-i and good agronomic traits such as stability to lodging, higher yield and quality compared to Unkwang.

        본 연구에서는 극한강우로 인한 산사태 발생 모니터링 기법을 개발하기 위하여 전년도 연구에서 개발된 모니터링 항목을 토대로 실험실 기반의 모니터링 시스템 구축 및 성능실험을 수행하였다. 모니터링의 기본개념은 강우로 인한 토층 내 수리적·역학적 특성 변화를 관측하고, 이를 산사태 조기경보를 위한 데이터로 적용하는 것이다. 또한, 지상의 모니터링 이외에 SAR 위성영상 자료를 이용한 입체모니터링을 수행하여 광역적인 산사태 감시를 수행하는 것이다. 실험실 기반의 모니터링 시스템은 두 단계로 구성하는데 1단계는 모형 토조 박스에 기 설정된 모니터링 항목별 센서를 설치하여 해당 항목의 데이터 관측이 가능한지를 검증하는 것이고, 2단계는 소형 산사태 모형실험장치에 센서를 설치하고 인공강우에 의한 산사태를 직접 발생시키며 산사태 발생 시 모니터링 시스템의 관측성능을 평가하는 것이다. 이러한 과정을 통해 실제 극한강우 조건에 따른 산사태 모니터링 기법의 효율성을 확인하고, 아울러 현장에 실제 설치하기 전 단계에서 여러 가지 상황에 대한 사전 대응체제를 수립하고자 한다. 한편, 본 연구에서는 실험실 평가 외에도 국내 남동부 지역을 대상으로 산사태 입체 모니터링 시스템을 당해년도 연구기간 동안 시범 구축하여 실험실 성능평가 결과와 비교를 통해 시스템의 완성도를 제고할 계획이다.

        The immune system in teleost fish is not completely developed during embryonic and larval stages, therefore effective innate mechanisms is very important for survival in such an environment. However, the knowledge of the development of immune system assumed to be restricted. In many species, lysozymes have been considered as important genes of the first line immune defense. The early detection of lysozyme mRNA in previous reports, led to the investigation of its presence in oocytes. As a result, c-type lysozyme mRNA transcripts were detected in unfertilized oocytes indicating maternal transfer. Therefore, we investigated the expression patterns of lysozymes in flounder, including the matured oocyte. In our results, c-type lysozyme mRNA was first detected in unfertilized oocyte stage, observed the significantly decreased until hatching stage, and was significantly increased after hatching stage. On the other hand, g-type lysozyme mRNA transcripts were first detected at late neurula stage, and the mRNA level was significantly increased after 20 dph. It may be suggest that maternally supplied mRNAs are selectively degraded prior to the activation of embryonic transcription. This study will be help in understanding the maturation and onset of humoral immunity during development of olive flounder immune system.

        The egg development and early life history of Korean spotted sleeper, Odontobutis interrupta which is Korean endemic species from Sora-choen was investigated. The Korean spotted sleeper were caught at Sora-myeon, Yeosu-si, Jeollanamdo, from Korea at May in 2014. The fertilized eggs were 4.23 ± 0.05 mm in long diameter and had oil globules. Hatching time of the embryo began about 442 hr 14 min after fertilization under water temperature of 19.5oC. The newly hatched larvae were 4.27 ± 0.35 mm in total length and their anus were not yet opened. 3 days after hatching postlarvae was measured 6.20 ± 0.11 mm in total length. 10 days after hatching postlarvae was measured 6.69 ± 0.14 mm in total length.

        The early growth response protein 1 (Egr-1) is a widely reported zinc finger protein and a well known transcription factor encoded by the Egr-1 gene, which plays key roles in many aspects of vertebrate embryogenesis and in adult vertebrates. The Egr-1 expression is important in the formation of the gill vascular system in flounders, which develops during the post-hatching phase and is essential for survival during the juvenile period. However, the complete details of Egr-1 expression during embryo development in olive flounder are not available. We assessed the expression patterns of Egr-1 during the early development of olive flounders by using reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) analysis. Microscopic observations showed that gill filament formation corresponded with the Egr-1 expression. Thus, we showed that Egr-1 plays a vital role in angiogenesis in the gill filaments during embryogenesis. Further, Egr-1 expression was found to be strong at 5 days after hatching (DAH), in the development of the gill vascular system, and this strong expression level was maintained throughout all the development stages. Our findings have important implications with respect to the biological role of Egr-1 and evolution of the first respiratory blood vessels in the gills of olive flounder. Further studies are required to elucidate the Egr-1-mediated stress response and to decipher the functional role of Egr-1 in developmental stages.

        The majority of early conceptus mortality in pregnancy occurs during the peri-implantation stage, suggesting that this period is important for conceptus viability and the establishment of pregnancy. Successful establishment of pregnancy in all mammalian species depends on the orchestrated molecular events that transpire at the conceptus-uterine interface during the peri-implantation phase. This maternal-conceptus interaction is especially crucial in pigs because in them non-invasive epitheliochorial placentation occurs, in which the pre-implantation phase is prolonged. During the pre-implantation period, conceptus survival and the establishment of pregnancy are known to depend on the developing conceptus receiving an adequate supply of histotroph, which contains a wide range of nutrients and growth factors. Evidence links epidermal growth factor (EGF), insulin- like growth factor-I (IGF-I), vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), and colony-stimulating factor 2 (CSF2) to embryogenesis or implantation in various mammalian species; however, in the case of pig, little is known about such functions of these growth factors, especially their regulatory mechanisms at the maternal-conceptus interface. Therefore, the objectives of this study were to determine: 1) the temporal and cell-specific expression of EGF, IGF-I, VEGF, and CSF2 signaling systems in the porcine endometrium during the estrous cycle and early pregnancy; 2) the potential intracellular signaling pathways responsible for the activities of these four factors in primary porcine trophectoderm (pTr) cells; and 3) the changes in cellular activities induced by these promising factors. First, the functional effect and cellular signaling cascades in pTr cells induced by EGF, which exhibits potential growth-promoting activities on the conceptus and endometrium, were investigated. EGFR mRNA and protein were abundant in endometrial luminal epithelia (LE) and glandular epithelia (GE), stratum compactum stroma, and conceptus trophectoderm on Days 13-14 of pregnancy, but not in any other cells of the uterus. EGF treatment of pTr cells increased the abundance of phosphorylated (p)-AKT1, p-ERK1/2 MAPK and p-P90RSK in the nucleus and/or cytoplasm when compared with the levels in control cells. Furthermore, EGF-stimulated phosphorylation of AKT1 and ERK1/2 MAPK were inhibited in pTr cells transfected with an EGFR siRNA, and compared with control siRNA- transfected pTr cells, the EGFR siRNA-transfected pTr cells exhibited an increase in the expression of gene encoding interferon (IFN)-δ and transforming growth factor (TGF) β-1; by contrast, no effect was detected on the expression of the gene encoding IFN-γ. Moreover, EGF stimulated the proliferation and migration of pTr cells, but these stimulatory effects were blocked by pharmacological inhibitors such as SB203580 (a p38 inhibitor), U0126 (a MAPK inhibitor), rapamycin (an MTOR inhibitor), and LY294002 (a PI3K inhibitor). Second, IGF-I was examined. IGF-1 is another promising growth factor that is known to play key roles in reproductive processes; however, little is known about IGF-I-induced functional effects and regulatory mechanisms during peri-implantation in pigs. In this study, endometrial type I IGF receptor (IGF-IR) mRNA was determined to increase substantially during early pregnancy relative to the level during the estrous cycle, and the mRNAs of both IGF-I and IGF-IR were abundant in endometrial LE and GE, stroma and conceptus trophectoderm on Day 12 of pregnancy. Moreover, IGF-I treatment potently increased the amounts of p-AKT1 and, ERK1/2 MAPK in the nucleus and cytoplasm and of RPS6 in the cytosol when compared with the amounts in untreated pTr cells, and IGF-I-induced activation of AKT1 and ERK1/2 was blocked by LY294002. Furthermore, IGF-I strongly stimulated both the proliferation and the migration of pTr cells, but these effects were inhibited by SB203580, U0126, rapamycin and LY294002. Third, this study focused on VEGF, which was identified as a potential mediator of the fetal-maternal dialog that regulates the development of the peri-implantation porcine conceptus. In addition to its known angiogenic effects, VEGF has been suggested to play roles in the development of the early embryo, but VEGF-induced effects on the peri-implantation conceptus remain unknown. Results of this study revealed that endometrial VEGF, VEGF receptor (VEGFR)-1, and VEGFR-2 mRNA levels in endometrial LE and GE, endothelial blood vessels, and scattered cells in the stroma were more abundant during the peri-implantation period of pregnancy than during the estrous cycle. Moreover, VEGF treatment of pTr cells increased the abundance of p-AKT1, p-ERK1/2, p-p70RSK, p-RPS6 and p-4EBP1, and the addition of LY294002 suppressed VEGF-induced phosphorylation of ERK1/2 and AKT1. Furthermore, VEGF potently stimulated both the proliferation and the migration of pTr cells, but these effects were inhibited in the presence of SB203580, U0126, rapamycin and LY294002. The fourth promising cytokine studied was CSF2, which is also known as granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor (GM-CSF). CSF2 plays a role in facilitating mammalian early embryonic development. In this study, endometrial CSF2 mRNA expression was determined to be increased during the peri-implantation period relative to the mRNA level during the estrous cycle. In pTr cells, CSF2 significantly induced the activation of AKT1, ERK1/2, MTOR, p70RSK, and RPS6, but not of STAT3, and the addition of LY294002 abolished CSF2-induced increases in p-ERK1/2, p-MTOR, and p-AKT1 levels. Furthermore, CSF2 strongly stimulated pTr cell proliferation, an effect that was blocked by U0126, rapamycin and LY294002. Collectively, these results provide new insights into the potential mediators that regulate the development of the peri-implantation conceptus at the fetal-maternal interface. These results indicate that endometrial- and/or conceptus derived EGF, IGF-I, VEGF, and CSF2 critically affect the growth and development of porcine trophectoderm cells, and that these stimulatory effects are coordinately regulated by multiple cellular signaling cascades including the PI3K-AKT and ERK1/2 MAPK pathways during early pregnancy in pigs.

        자포니카형 조생 찰벼의 벼흰잎마름병 저항성 증진을 위하여 내도복 다수성 조생 찰벼인 상주찰벼 배경에 벼흰잎마름병 저항성 유전자 Xa2, Xa3, xa5, Xa21을 도입한 저항성 계통을 여교배와 벼흰잎마름병 생물검정을 통해 육성하였고, 해당 저항성 유전자를 표지하는 DNA 분자 마커를 이용하여 저항성 유전자 도입 여부를 확인하였으며 우리나라 벼흰잎마름병 균계 네 개와 필리핀 11개 균계를 대상으로 저항성 반응을 조사하였다. Xa2가 도입된 HR24465 계통은 우리나라 K1,K2 균계와 필리핀 race 9a에 저항성을 나타냈으며 Xa3가 도입된 HR24666 계통은 우리나라 K3a와 필리핀 race 6을 제외하고 저항성 및 중도 저항성을 나타냈다. xa5가 도입된 HR24668과 HR24673은 필리핀 race 6을 제외하고 모두 저항성 반응을 나타냈으며 Xa21이 도입된 HR24669는 우리나라 K1 균계와 필리핀 race 10을 제외하고 저항성 및 중도 저항성을 나타냈다. 육성된 계통들은 상주찰벼와 같이 조생이면서 찰벼였고 출수기와 수장, 수수, 정현비율 및 백미수량이 상주찰벼와 차이가 나지 않았다. 상주찰벼 배경에 Xa2, Xa3,xa5, Xa21이 도입된 저항성 계통은 벼흰잎마름병 저항성이 부족한 자포니카형 조생 찰벼의 저항성 강화를 위하여 유용한 육종소재로 활용될 것이다.

        대단면 터널 라이닝 콘크리트를 1일에 1cycle로 진행하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 터널 내부의 기후특성이 변화하고 콘크리트 타설온도가 낮은 경우에는 수화발현 속도도 지연되어 강도발현에 영향을 미치게 되므로 거푸집의 존치시간이 길어지게 된다. 이를 보완하기 위하여 갱문의 설치와 갱폼의 양쪽에 양생막을 설치한 후, 그 내부에 28±2℃의 추가적인 열원을 공급하게 되면 균열관리방안으로 제시한 관리기준 (4.5MPa) 이상의 조기강도발현을 이루어 낼 수 있었으며, 따라서 거푸집을 재령 14hr 후에 제거할 수가 있었다. 한편, 터널내 자연양생온도인 10±1℃ 조건에서는 콘크리트 타설 후 36hr 이상의 양생시간을 확보해야 되는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구를 통하여, 초기재령에서의 콘크리트 온도와 강도발현은 양생온도가 크게 작용하고 있음을 재확인 할 수 있었으며, 플라이애쉬가 10% 혼입된 콘크리트라도 일정시간동안 거푸집의 표면온도를 상승시켜 줄 수 있다면 조기강도발현에는 문제가 되지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

        Fish larvae are immediately exposed to microbes from hatching to maturation of their lymphoid organs, therefore effective innate mechanisms is very important for survival. However, the knowledge of the development of immune system in fish is limited and in demand now. In vertebrates, recombination-activating gene 1 (RAG-1) and immunoglobulin M (IgM) have been considered as very useful markers of the physiological maturity of the immune system. In this study, the expression of the both genes was assessed throughout the early developmental stages of olive flounder larvae (5-55 dph) and used as markers to follow the development of immune system. RAG-1 and IgM mRNA expression was detectable at 5 dph and remained so until 55 dph. These patterns of expression may suggest that the olive flounder start to develop its function around 5 dph. Tissue distribution was found that both genes mRNAs are only expressed in the immune-related organ such as spleen, kidney and gill. The early detection of IgM mRNA led to the investigation of its presence in oocytes. Both RAG-1 and IgM mRNA transcripts were detected in unfertilized oocytes, suggesting that they are maternally transferred. The biological significance of such a phenomenon remains to be investigated.

        In Pleuronectiformes, blind-side malpigmentation (hypermelanosis) is common in cultured flatfishes, and is economically important. To understand the mechanism of blind-side hypermelanosis in flatfishes, we examined when the malpigmentation initially occurred, and studied how the symptoms proceeded during early development of the starry flounder, Platichthys stellatus. To assess quantitative pattern changes of blind-side skin, we observed morphological development of the whole body from 22 (total length [TL] 10.0±0.2 mm and body weight [BW] 8.8±0.57 mg) to 110 days (TL 23.4±0.7 mm, BW 193.6±23.3 mg) after hatching (DAH), and also examined the malpigmented area rate of blind-side skin and the malpigmented fish ratios. The experimental animals were reared in fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) tanks in water at a temperature of 18.9±1.9℃ and salinity of 32.6±0.6 psu and were fed with rotifer and Artemia nauplii from 22 to 48 DAH, and with A. nauplii and commercial feed from 49 to 110 DAH. As results, the first staining patch seen by the naked eye was observed around the area between the anus and pelvic fin or caudal edge of the trunk at 80 DAH (TL 20.6±0.5 mm, BW 112.5±8.8 mg). The pigmented area and the pigmented fish ratios were significantly increased from 80 to 110 DAH. These results indicated that malpigmentation on the blind side of starry flounder was initially observed at about 2 cm in length and 100 mg in weight, and the pigmented domain on the blind-side skin was continually broadened by the differentiation of pigmented cells (melanophores and xanthophores) with growth.

        This study describes the developmental process of gonads in chameleon goby, Tridentiger trigonocephalus from the stage of hatching to 100 days after hatching (DAH). Based on histological observation, the primordial germ cells were observed in mesentery between mesonephric duct and gut at 15 DAH (total length, TL: 6.8±0.2 mm). At 20 DAH (TL: 7.9±0.1 mm), the primordial gonad began to protrude into peritoneal cavity and developed between mesonephric duct and gut. Initial ovarian differentiation was identified by the presence of ovarian cavity and oogonia in the gonads at 55 DAH (TL: 21.1±1.3 mm). Testicular differentiation started at 65 DAH (TL: 23.7±0.9 mm) with appearance of spermatogonial cells in the gonads. These findings indicate that sex differentiation in T. trigonocephalus occurs earlier in females than males, suggesting that this species can be classified as an undifferentiated gonochorist.

        본 연구는 조강시멘트와 경화촉진제를 사용하여 조기강도 발현의 메커니즘을 분석하는 것이 목적이다. 연구결과 경화촉진제는 시멘트와의 수화반응시 Ca(OH)2의 촉진시키는 것을 TG/DTA 실험을 통하여 검정하였다. 압축강도 측정결과 경화촉진제의 사용량이 증가 할수록초기압축강도가 증가하는 것을 알 수 있었다. 또한 미소수화열 측정결과 경화촉진제는 시멘트의 성분중 C3S의 수화반응을 촉진시키는 것으로 나타났다. XRD분석결과 재령별 수화생성물을 확인할 수 있었으며 경화촉진제의 사용량이 증가할수록 수화물들의 피크점이 높게 나타나는 것을 알 수 있었다. SEM찰영을 한 결과 촉진제의 첨가량에 따라 Ca(OH)2의 생성과 재령에 따라 C-S-H의 형상을 관찰할 수 있었다.따라서 본 연구에서 사용된 경화촉진제는 초기강도발현 시키는 것에 대해 효과적인 것을 확인 할 수 있었다.

        The innate immune system is the only defense weapon that invertebrates have, and it is the fundamental defense mechanism for fish. The innate immune response is important in newly hatched flounders because it is closely involved in the initial feeding phase, which is why it is essential for survival during the juvenile period. The expression analysis of genes involved in the innate immune response in the olive flounder (Paralichthys olivaceus) in the days after hatching is incomplete. Therefore, we have begun to examine the expression patterns of genes specifically induced during the development of the innate immune system in newly hatched flounders. Microscopic observation showed that pronephron formation corresponded with the expression of perforin-encoding gene. These results suggest that perforin plays a vital role in the innate immunity of the kidney during developmental stages. Perforin expression was strong at the start of the development of the innate immune response, and continued throughout all the development stages. Our findings have important implications with respect to perforin’s biological role and the evolution of the first defense mechanisms in olive flounder. Further studies are required to elucidate the perforin-mediated innate immunity response and to decipher the functional role of perforin in developmental stages.

        Seed germination and the establishment of young seedlings are critical phases in the plant’s life cycle. To control these processes, plants have evolved diverse hormonal signaling networks in which brassinosteroids (BRs) attenuate abscisic acid (ABA) responses; however, the underlying regulatory mechanism remains elusive. Here, we reveal that epigenetic silencing of the ABA signaling regulator ABI3 via the BR-related transcription factor BES1 is essential for the inhibitory effect of BRs on ABA signaling during early seedling development. BR-activated BES1 forms a transcriptional repressor complex with TPL via its EAR motif that recruits the histone deacetylase HDA19. This facilitates the histone H3-mediated deacetylation of ABI3 chromatin, leading to the suppression of ABI3 and its downstream target ABI5, which results in reduced ABA sensitivity. We propose that the BR-activated BES1-TPL-HDA19 repressor complex controls epigenetic silencing of ABI3 and thereby suppresses the ABA response during early seedling development.
