Industrial complex areas are an important factor that contributes to economic development. However, these areas also produce a significant amount of noxious air pollutants. In particular, PM10 emitted from industrial complex areas can lead to detrimental effects on human health. This study was conducted to survey environmental conditions and measure the concentration of PM10 in indoor and outdoor living spaces in Yeosu and Gwangyang. In Yeosu, the level of PM10 concentration in indoor living spaces was measured at 49.38 μg/m3, while the outdoor level was measured at 43.60 μg/m3. In Gwangyang, the PM10 concentration in indoor living spaces was measured at 20.08 μg/m3 while the outdoor measurement came to 18.14 μg/m3. When analyzing the percentage of those who were highly concerned with environmental pollution among a survey group of 200 people, Yeosu City had a rate of 76.5%, while Gwangyang City had a comparable rate of 73%. When looking at the time-activity patterns of residents in both locations, Yeosu residents spend more than 80.0% of their time inside their living spaces, while Gwangyang residents spend more than 70.0% of time inside their living spaces. These high rates are largely due to the fact that most of the residents of these areas are elderly. In both Yeosu and Gwangyang, it was found that 40% of residents use TV and radio rather than newspapers or handouts to obtain information about environmental pollution problems in their area.
This study (1) explored spatio-temporal population distribution patterns in Jeonju by using emerging hot spot analysis and (2) identified the influential factors to determine the spatio-temporal patterns by using multinomial logit model. The major findings are as follows. First, the results of emerging hot spot analysis indicated that the 100*100m grid in the urban area of Jeonju was found to have a category of hot spots, whereas most of the cold spot series was concentrated in the outskirts of the city. Also, new towns such as Jeonju Eco City, Jeonbuk Innovation City, and Hyocheon District were persistent or intensifying hot spots, Third, the results of multinomial logit model revealed that the factors influencing deterrmining the spatio-temporal patterns were accessibility to schools, hospitals, parks, and walfare services. This study offered a deeper understanding of urbanization and regional changes in Jeonju, and important information for urban planning.
PURPOSES : In this study, the social cost of on-street parking spaces was estimated by dividing it into private and external costs.
METHODS : We established a methodology and conducted a case analysis of Seoul. Private costs were estimated from the guidelines and historical data collected. The opportunity cost of the land was estimated using spatial information. External costs built a macroscopic model (using TransCAD) and estimated travel time, operation, accident, and environmental costs.
RESULTS : The social cost per space was estimated at 77 million won. Private costs were analyzed as 133.3 billion won, the opportunity cost of the land was 68,555 billion won, and external costs were 118,25 billion won in 2020.
CONCLUSIONS : In this study, a methodology for estimating the social cost of a road parking facility was established and applied to the case of Seoul. Therefore, it is expected to contribute to the objective reviewing of the feasibility of policy evaluation or facility investment related to parking facilities.
This study is conducted with the questionnaire survey of 174 participants to investigate the psychological effect of workers with the indoor-garden in lounge of public building. The measurement of mental state was investigated and compared with loyalty, attention restoration, profile of mood states (POMS) and semantic differential method (SD Method) while statistical analysis was compared and analyzed with paired t-test, frequency analysis, cross correlation analysis, one-way analysis of variance, and Pearson’s correlation analysis. As the result of analysis of three psychological index, the rate of attention of restoration to the worker was significantly higher in the area where the indoor-garden is installed than the area with no indoor-garden (p≦0.001). Emotional examination showed less negative emotions, such as, the tension, depression, anger, exhaustion or confusion while more positive feeling was vitalized in the area where there is indoor-garden in the lounge than the place with no garden. In addition, as the result of comparison for the index of emotion by gender, negative emotions of men decrease but positive feeling increase more than the group of women in the area where there is indoor-garden in the lounge than the place with no garden. As the result of evaluating the emotion of pleasant, natural and relax with SD method, worker might feel them more in indoor-garden of lounge. Detailed items of plant does not seem to affect to the loyalty in the interest of indoor-garden to the workers, however, behavioral element, such as, feasible investment-cost, provides extremely positive effect (p≦.05). Based on this study, the cognizance of healing effect, attention restoration, profile of mood state (POMS) and emotional quotient by the existence of indoor-garden can be concluded that it will provide the positive effects to diffuse indoor-garden and promotion of emotional health for the staff. In addition, indoor-garden can be practically used to reduce the stress and provide the stability of the indoor-staff.
현재 북한의 권력승계로 인한 과도기적 상황에서 남북한 전쟁에 대한 위기감은 증가하고 있으나 민방위사태 발생시 이용가능한 임시거주공간은 민방위기본법에 의해 진압시까지 앉은 상태로 대피기능을 하는 지하 비상대피시설로 규정되어 있는 실정이다. 그러나 전쟁대응 임시거주공간은 이재민 주거시설 마련을 위한 2주 이상의 기간동안 대피공간 및 거주기능을 수행해야하므로 거주성 확보와 심신적 안정을 위한 최소주거기준과 주거환경계획기준 설정방향을 모색하고자 한다.
이에 본 연구는 재해유형에 따른 법적, 문헌적 기준 현황과 국외법을 비교·분석함으로써 최소면적기준과 부대시설, 거주성능에 대한 적용 가능성을 검토해 보고 세부기준 마련을 위해 건축관계 법령과의 연계성을 살펴보았다.
이를 위해 전쟁대응 임시거주공간에 대한 개념과 필요성에 대해 살펴보고, 국내외(한국, 일본, 미국) 주거관련 법적 기준과 민방위기본법에 따른 비상대피시설, 재해구호법에 따른 임시주거시설 지침을 대상으로 주거기준 분석을 통하여 다음과 같은 공간계획기준을 제시하였다.
먼저, 최소면적 기준에 대해서는 각국의 지침이 재해유형과 인체특성상 차이가 있고 지하공간은 한정된 부분이 있으므로 거주를 고려한 현행 임시주거시설 지침을 반영하여 2.0-3.3㎡/인과 별도의 공용면적을 산정하였다. 또한 주거환경 계획기준은 부대시설과 거주성능 항목으로 분류하고 적용가능성을 검토해 보았으나 다수의 지침이 필요 항목만 명기되어 있으므로 건축관계 법령을 고려하여 인간의 기본생활욕구를 충족시키는 기준을 마련하고자 하였다.
최근 발생한 천안함 피격과 연평도 포격사건과 같이 남북한 전쟁에 대한 위기감이 확산됨에 따라 전쟁이 발발할 경우 국민들이 일정기간 동안 안전하게 거주할 수 있는 임시거주공간 확보에 대한 관심이 고조되고 있다. 이러한 측면에서 지하철 역사는 민방위기본법에 의해 폭격에 대한 방호기능을 갖춘 2등급시설로서 대규모 이재민을 수용하기 위한 임시거주공간으로 충분한 역할을 수행할 수 있다. 하지만 현재 민방위기본법에는 지하철을 대피시설로 활용할 경우 4인당 3.3㎡를 확보하도록 최소 기준만을 설정해 줄 뿐 전쟁 장기화시 임시거주공간으로 활용하기 위해 세부사항에 대한 기준은 없다. 뿐만 아니라 소방방재청의 재해구호계획 수립지침에서도 풍수해대비나 지진에 대비한 임시거주공간에 대한 기준은 있으나 전쟁에 대응한 지하 임시거주공간에 대한 기준은 없는 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 연평도 포격 이재민을 대상으로 연평도 포격당시 대피소의 문제점과 지하 임시대피공간에 대한 요구도 설문조사를 통해 향후 전쟁대응 지하 임시거주공간에 대한 기준을 마련하기 위한 기초연구로 활용하고자 한다.
본 논문은 해양플랜트 전용거주시설로 사용되고 있는 생활바지선 거주구 공간구성특성에 관한 연구이다. 생활바지선은 Accommodation Work Barge, Accommodation Pipe Lay Barge, Multi-purpose Accommodation Barge로 분류할 수 있다. 이 중 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 Accommodation Work Barge를 대상으로 실적선 GA도면 분석을 통해 거주구 공간구성에 대하여 연구하였다. 거주구 공간구성은 거주자의 생활 편리함과 쾌적성에 큰 영향을 미친다. 생활바지선 거주구 공간구성특성은 수평적 공간배치 보다는 수직방향에 따른 층별 공간배치에 있다. 생활바지선 거주구 공간구성은 '거주공간', '서비스공간', '업무공간'이 층별로 집중되어 나타나는 '집중형'과 각 공간이 층별로 분산되어 나타나는 '분산형'으로 구분된다.
