        사무엘 테일러 콜리지는 영국의 낭만주의 시대를 열었고,예이츠는 낭만 주의 정신을 물려받은 현대 시인이다.콜리지가 예이츠에게 준 영향은 다른 낭만주의 시인들에 비해 결코 적지 않다.특히,바다를 배경으로 선원들의 초현실적인 경험을 다루고 있는 예이츠의 극작품 그림자 드리운 바다 와 콜리지의 시,“노수부의 노래” 는 두 시인의 시대적 차이에도 불구하고 상징적 기법,작품의 배경,분위기 등 에서 매우 유사한 작품이다.두 작품 모두 바다,새,사중생,해와 달 등에 유사한 상징적 의미를 부여했다는 점에서 예이츠가 콜리지에게서 많은 영감을 얻었음을 확인 할 수 있다.

        A plane-parallel model of the diffuse Galactic light (DGL) is calculated assuming exponential disks of interstellar dust and OB stars, by solving exactly the radiative transfer equation using an iterative method. We perform a radiative transfer calculation for a model with generally accepted scale heights of stellar and dust distribution and compare the results with those of van de Hulst & de Jong for a constant slab model. We also find that the intensity extrapolated to zero dust optical depth has a negative value, against to the usual expectation.

        The paper reports on the prediction of turbulent heat transfer in flows between parallel plates with wall transpiration. The elliptic blending second moment closure for turbulent stresses and the GGDH model for turbulent heat fluxes are employed to predict the turbulent flow and heat transfer. The numerical results by the adopted models are directly compared to the DNS data and the measurements to assess the performance of the model predictions. The predictions show correctly the effect of deceleration and acceleration of the flow caused by the transpiration, and the anisotropy of the turbulence structure is augmented towards downstream by the fluid injection. The turbulence structure and heat transfer characteristics of transpired flows are well captured by the present turbulence and heat flux models.

        We present analytical approximations for calculating the scattering and escape of non-ionizing photons from a plane-parallel medium with uniformly illuminated by external sources. We compare the results with the case of a spherical dust cloud. It is found that more scattering and absorption occur in the plane-parallel geometry than in the spherical geometry when the optical depth perpendicular to the plane and the radial optical depth of the sphere are the same. The results can provide an approximate way to estimate radiative transfer in a variety interstellar conditions and can be applied to the dust-scattered diffuse Galactic light.

        Numerical analysis was conducted to characterize the particle charging quantities in the charging cell of a 2-stage parallel-plate electrostatic precipitator with respect to particle size. The numerical method took into consideration of particle charging rate equations and particle equations of motion, allowing the locally varying non-uniform electric field and ion number concentration along the particle trajectory. The charging rate model developed by Lawless (1996) was used in the present study. According to the present study, the numerical results showed good agreement with the available experimental data.

        The vibrations problem of thin orthotropic skew plates of linearly varying thickness is analyzed using the small deflection theory of plates. Using dimensionless oblique coordinates, the deflection surface can be expressed as a polyonmial series satisfying the boundary conditions. For orthotropic plates which is clamped on all the four edges, numerical results for the first two natural frequencies are presented for various combinations of aspect ratio, skew angle and taper parameter. The properties of material used are one directional glass fibre reinforced plastic GFRP. The results obtained may be summarised as follows: 1. In case of the first mode vibration of plates with increase in the skew angle, the natural frequencies of plates decrease. 2. As the aspect ratio decrease, the natural frequencies of plates decrease. 3. For the identical skew angle, natural frequencies of plates increase with the taper parameter of thickness.

        엑스선 회절분석기는 비파괴적인 방법으로 시료의 정보를 정성 및 정량적으로 분석할 수 있다. 엑스선 회절분석기에 는 다양한 광학소자가 사용된다. 평행빔 광학소자는 광축에 평행한 빔을 통과시키고 발산하는 빔을 제거하는 역할을 한다. 와이어 컷 제작과 스테인리스 스틸 평판을 연마하여 평행빔 광학소자를 제작하였고 엑스선 영상장치를 이용하여 그평행도를 평가하였다. 설계된 6 mrad과 매우 가까운 6.6 mrad의 평행도를 갖는 평행빔 광학소자를 제작하였다. 엑스선영상을 이용하면 개개의 평판의 평행도를 예측할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 다양한 광학소자 평가에도 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

        We presents a dynamic modeling of 4-wheel 2-DOF. WMR. The classic dynamic model utilizes a greatly simplified wheel motion representation and using of a simplified dynamic model confronts with a problem for accurate position control of wheeled mobile robot. In this paper, we treats the dynamic model for describes relationship between the wheel actuator force/torque and WMR motion through the use of Newton's equilibrium laws. To calculate the WMR position in real time, we introduced the Dead-Reckoning algorithms and the simulation result show that the proposed dynamic model is useful. We can be easily extend the proposed WMR model to mobile robot of similar type and this type of methodology is useful to analyze, design and control any kinds of rolling robots.
