While the vehicle has a wide front view, making it easy to recognize obstacles while driving, the rear side has a narrow view and the inconvenience of having to turn its head to check. A side mirror developed to address this discomfort is mounted outside the front door of a passenger car and used to identify rear objects. In this study, heat transfer analysis was performed and analyzed in order to obtain optimal defrost conditions using regression analysis method for removing mirror condensation and frost. As a result of this study, the coefficient of determination, R2, which represents the regression to the total variation through regression analysis, showed a good reliability of 85.3%. Comparing the predicted and interpreted values of the maximum temperature distribution in the regression equation established in this study, it was included in the 95% confidence interval, enabling the prediction of the maximum temperature distribution over the heat conduction time.
It is not easy to predict the shrinkage rate of a plastic injection mold in its design process. The shrinkage rate should be considered as one of the important performances to produce the reliable products. The shrinkage rate can be determined by using the CAE tools in the design produces. However, since the analysis can take minutes to hours, the high computational costs of performing the analysis limit their use in design optimization. Therefore this study was carried out to presume for mutual relation of analysis condition to get the optimum average shrinkage by regression analysis. The results shown that coefficient of determination of regression equation has a fine reliability over 87% and regression equation of average shrinkage is made by regression analysis
In this study, we attempted to evaluate the relationship between air dilution sensory test and instrumental detection method for samples containing various odorous compounds. For the purpose of our comparative study, the analysis of malodor compounds was made using a total of 70 samples collected from three industrial sectors which include: Food & beverage, Waste treatment and cleaning, and Miscellaneous facilities. The results of instrumental analyses converted into three different odor indices (the odor concentration (OC), odor quotient (OQ), and odor intensity (OI)) were used to statistically sort out individual odorous components with the major impact. The results of multiple regression analysis between air dilution ratio value and instrumental odor concentration (of individual 12 compounds) indicate that butyraldehyde, CH₃SH, NH₃, and H₂S are the major odorous compounds that contribute most significantly to odor strength for the sample types investigated in this study.
최근 기후변화에 효과적으로 대응하기 위해서 신뢰성 높은 설계홍수량을 산정할 필요성이 커지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 홍수빈도해석법과 설계 강우-유출 관계 분석법으로 산정되는 확률홍수량의 차이를 분석하였다. 우리나라의 경우 관측유량 자료가 부족하여 설계홍수량을 결정할 때 설계 강우-유출 관계 분석법으로 산정된 확률홍수량을 이용하고 있다. 관측 유량 자료를 활용한 홍수빈도해석법의 결과를 참값으로 가정하여 분석한 결 과, 설계강우-유출 관계 분석법으로 산정된 확률홍수량은 홍수빈도해석법으로 산정된 확률홍수량에 비해 약 79% 과대 산정되는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 설계강우-유출 관계 분석법으로 산정된 확률홍수량을 보정하는 회귀곡선식을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 우리나라 8개 댐 유역의 강우와 유량자료를 획득한 후, 비선형 회귀분석을 통하여 보정식을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 보정식을 적용할 경우, 설계강우-유출 관계 분석법으로 산정된 확률홍수량보다 평균적으로 정확도가 약 65.0% 향상되었다. 또한, 유역의 크기를 고려하면, 유역의 크기를 고려하지 않았을 때보다 평균적으로 정확도가 약 2.1%p 증가하였다.
The purpose of this study is to compare the relative growth of annual ring width of red pine(Pinus densiflora), black pine(Pinus thunbergii) and pitch pine(Pinus rigida) by means of multiple regression method according to Graybill hypothesis. The obtained results are as follows. 1. The changes of rainfall have affected to tree growth during the periods of 1975 through 1978. 2. Among these pine trees, red pine was mostly influenced by environmental factors. 3. The growth of annual ring width was sensitively responded to the changes of rainfall and air temperature. 4. Among the heavy metals analyzed, the concentrations(ppm) of Lead(Pb) and Copper(Cu) were negatively effected on the growth of annual ring width of pine trees. 5. The analytical technique of annual ring width may be useful for estimation of the pollution in forest areas near industrial complexes.
In rural planning, the cost estimation of project is a key factor for planning. Therefore, development of reliable cost estimation method is essential. Recently, new techniques are suggested for determination of project cost using historical cost data. In this study, a multiple-regression analysis was used to determine the cost of the farm land consolidation. The results demonstrated that multiple regression analysis using historical cost data can be applicable to project cost estimation.
