This study was conducted to investigate the status and the life satisfaction of amputees from July 9, 2001 to August 18, 2001. Questionnaire survey was collected from lower extremity amputees using the services of prosthetic and orthotic centers in five Veterans Hospitals (Seoul, Busan, Gwangju, Daeku, and Daejun), Seoul Tehlin prosthetic and orthotic center, Chunan prosthetic and orthotic center, and Junju Lee Ganga rehabilitation institute. Amputees were grouped as trans-tibial amputees, trans-femoral amputees, and bilateral amputees based on amputation level. Demographic and social characteristics, performance of social role, and factors influencing life satisfaction revealed findings as follows: 1) The number of subjects voluntarily participated in the study was 113 (109 men, 4 women), and the mean age of subjects was 53.65 years (age range=22-74 years). 2) The time of amputation was at their second decade mostly (72.6%), and the most common etiology of amputation was trauma (91.2%). 3) The most common type of amputation was trans-tibial amputation (59.3%). Subjects who were employed was 68.1% before amputation and 47.8% after amputation. Subject had income regardless of being employed or unemployed after amputation. 4) No significant difference was found between the scores of social role and the scores of life satisfaction in three groups(p<0.05). 5) The significant factors on life satisfaction was income status and occupational role among variables(p<0.05).

목적: 이 연구는 중학생 선수들을 대상으로 케어링 분위기와 삶의 만족도 관계에서 라이프스킬 전이의 매개효과 를 분석하였다. 방법: 연구 참여자는 중학교 운동선수 221명(남자=155명, 여자=66명)으로 평균 15.94세였다. 측정 도구로는 케어링 분위기 척도(CCS), 라이프스킬 전이 척도(KLSTS), 그리고 삶의 만족도 척도(SWLS)가 사용되었 으며, 수집된 자료는 Stata 9.2를 이용하여 기술통계, 상관관계, 구조모형 분석을 실시했다. 결과: 첫째, 케어링 분 위기는 라이프스킬 전이에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 라이프스킬 전이는 삶의 만족도에 유의 한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 케어링 분위기는 삶의 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 넷째, 케어링 분위기와 삶의 만족도 관계에서 라이프스킬 전이는 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 지도자를 포 함한 팀의 구성원들이 서로를 존중하고 격려하는 분위기는 스포츠에서 개발된 라이프스킬을 다양한 환경으로 전 이하는 데 보탬이 된다. 나아가 전이된 라이프스킬은 삶에 대한 선수들의 전반적인 만족감을 높이므로 지도자는 스포츠 환경 내에서 긍정적인 분위기를 형성할 필요가 있다.

The objectives of this study are to analyze life satisfaction between agricultural and non-agricultural households using 1~4th KReIS (Korean retirement and income study) data, to investigate whether to affect on life satisfaction according to the employment industry of householder. and to examine various determinants of life satisfaction between agricultural and non-agricultural households. The summary of analysis results is as follows. First, life satisfaction is influenced by economic value. Also it is examined that both physical and mental health have a significant effect for life satisfaction. Especially, it is analyzed that the effect of mental health is larger than one of physical health for life satisfaction. In addition, it is investigated that life satisfaction of single-person households is higher than two or more person households. Second, there was significant difference between agricultural and non-agricultural households in life satisfaction. It was proved that life satisfaction of agricultural households is higher than non-agricultural ones. As a result, it is confirmed that life satisfaction is influenced by industrial characteristic and mental health rather than another determinants.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of city dwellers' migration to the rural areas on the increase of their life satisfaction and its influencing variables. Using a quota sampling, 500 city dwellers across the country and 180 migrators to the Goesan Gun in the Chungcheongbuk-do were selected. The results showed that (a) most city dwellers want to move to the rural areas for their relaxation and rest for their retirement, but migrants' main goal is to realize their internally oriented values, (b) life satisfaction is more evident for migrants compared to city dwellers, and it is influenced by self-assessed income, self-perceived health and internally oriented value, and (c) migrators contribute to their own successful aging by using strategies of selection, optimization and compensation compared to city dwellers. The contribution of this paper is to identify and confirm that (a) migration to the rural areas is an effective way to increase individual's life satisfaction although goals of dwellers and migrators are different, (b) the specific influencing variable and their weights in increase of life satisfaction are unique in Korea, and (c) income level is a not sufficient condition but necessary condition. Several managerial implications and policy directions were suggested to help both migrators and potential migrators to settle successfully in the rural areas.

이 연구는 아동 청소년의 온라인게임을 통한 성취가 학교적응과 삶의 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미치는지, 그리고 그 과정에서 자기효능감이 매개변인으로 작용하는지 살펴보고자 했다. 서울시 초등, 중학생 1004명에 대한 설문조사 결과, 온라인게임 사용수준이 높은 집단에서 온라인 게임을 통한 성취는 자기효능감, 학교적응과 삶의 만족도에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 또한 자기효능감은 온라인게임을 통한 성취와 학교적응의 관계, 그리고 온라인게임을 통한 성취와 삶의 만족도의 관계에 유의한 영향을 미쳤다. 온라인게임에 대한 과몰입의 부정적 영향을 간과할 수는 없지만, 이 연구는 아동, 청소년의 온라인게임을 통한 성취가 그들의 학교적응과 삶의 만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 밝혔다는 데에 그 의의가 있다.
