예이츠와 히니 두 작가 모두 다른 기질과 역사 및 문화 배경으로 인하여 서로 다른 유토피아를 추구한다. 두 작가를 비교해보면 낭만적경향의 예이츠는 과거나 미래 혹은 저 먼 나라를 그린 점에 있어서 '지금' 그리고 '현재'라는 실재에 비중을 두는 히니와 다르다. 예이츠를 궁중풍 시인 혹은 켈트의 무당 혹은 기사라 칭한다면 히니는 초기에는 아일랜드 역사를 파헤치는 고고학자, 중기에는 방랑 순수시인, 그리고 후기에는 과학자적 객관주의와 초월주의 시인의 면모를 동시에 보이는 점 때문에 예이츠에 비해 사실적 작가로 평가하게 된다. 그들이 그린 유토피아에 그리스 어원을 적용해보면 예이츠는 '어디에도 없는 곳'을 히니는 '좋은 곳'을 추구한다는 차이를 발견하게 된다.

The insecticidal activity of cinnamon essential oils, cinnamon bark, cinnamon technical, cinnamon green leaf oils and their constituents and structurally related compounds against citrus flatid planthopper, Metcalfa pruinosa, was examined using a direct contact application. At 500 mg litre-1 very strong mortality (100%) was observed in cinnamon technical, cinnamon bark, cinnamon green leaf, mortality against flatid planthopper M. pruinosa. The cinnamon oils constituents were identified by GC-MS. The active principles were determined to be hydrocinnamic acid (24 h LC50, 30.66 mg/L), geranic acid (24 h LC50, 31.23 mg/L), cinnamaldehyde (24 h LC50, 32.65 mg/L), hydrocinnamaldehyde (24 h LC50, 39.11 mg/L) and trans-cinnamaldehyede (24 h LC50, 39.54 mg/L) were the most toxic against both nymph and adult of citrus flatid planthopper, M. pruinosa. The moderate activity was observed with cinnamyl acetate, dibutyl pthalate, anethole, α -cyano cinnamic acid, cinnamyl alcohol, methyl cinnamaldehyde, eugenol, 2.4-dihydrocyl cinnamic acid, bornyl acetate (24 h LC50, 53.35- 97.17 mg/L) respectively. The other constituents were showed less or no activity against adult of M. pruinosa. Global efforts to reduce the level of highly toxic synthetic insecticides in the agricultural environment justify further studies on the active cinnamon oils active principles act as potential insecticides for the control of M. pruinosa populations as direct spray with contact action.

The 304 stainless steel powders were prepared by high energy ball milling and subsequently sintered byspark plasma sintering, and the microstructural characteristics and micro-hardness were investigated. The initial size ofthe irregular shaped 304 stainless steel powders was approximately 42 µm. After high energy ball milling at 800 rpmfor 5h, the powders became spherical with a size of approximately 2 µm, and without formation of reaction compounds.From TEM analysis, it was confirmed that the as-milled powders consisted of the aggregates of the nano-sized particles.As the sintering temperature increased from 1073K to 1573K, the relative density and micro-hardness of sintered sampleincreased. The sample sintered at 1573K showed the highest relative density of approximately 95% and a micro-hard-ness of 550 Hv.

히니의 시는 고향 떠남, 방랑, 귀향이라는 삼부구조로 되어있다. 1991년 작품인 환영보기로부터 1996년 영혼측정기 2001년 전기 등불그리고 그의 마지 막 작품인 2010년 인간 고리에 있는 서정시들에서 작가는 우리가 이미 알고 있고 우리의 눈으로 파악할 수 있는 것들이 과연 견고한 것인가 그리고 영혼은 어디에 깃 드는가라는 의문을 제기하고 있다. 그리고 이 시들에서 히니의 관심은 초기 시의 그의 정신적 중심이었던 고향과 가족으로 회귀하는 모습을 보여준다. 그런데 여기서 중심이 라하면 북아일랜드의 시골 고향마을, 그의 가족과 부모님 이 밖에도 영적 세계추구등 의 아일랜드 문학 전통과 단테 버질등의 고대 그리스 로마의 전통까지를 의미한다.

We have used bulked segregant analysis to screen the strain-specific DNA marker associated psychrophilic strain of Pleurotus eryngii. Bulked genomic DNAs of Pleurotus eryngii were amplified by randomly amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) using OP-A, OP-B, OP-L, OP-P, OP-R and OP-S primers to screen the strain-specific DNA marker. A unique DNA fragment of 490 bp was amplified with OP-L18 primer from the psychrophilic strain and sequenced. A sequence characterized amplified region (SCAR) marker was designed on the basis of the determined sequence and named as OP-L18-1. The PCR analysis with the OP-L18-1 primer showed that this SCAR marker clearly distinguish the psychrophilic strains from the control strains.

셰이머스 히니의 전체 시는 고향 떠남, 방황 그리고 귀향이라는 삼부 구조로 구성되어있다. 그의 초기 시집 『자연주의자의 죽음』부터 『북 쪽』은 북 아일랜드를 떠나기에 앞서 북 아일랜드 사태가 초래한 시인의 정신적 갈등을 다룬 작품들이다. 이들 중 특히 『어둠의 문』에서 작가는 자유를 향한 변신의 몸짓으로 자신과 자신이 속한 공동체의 새로운 모습을 모색하면서 자신이 순수 시인이 되어야 할지 아니면 참여 시인이 되어야하는 지에 대한 갈등을 표현한다. 그리고 『북 쪽』은 북 아일랜드 사태의 근원과 그 해결법을 추구하면서도 이 사태로부터 탈출해야 할 것인가 아닌가의 갈등 그리고 떠나갈 것을 결정하기까지의 작가의 내적 여정을 그린 작품이다

The purpose of this study was to provide a practical guide to the use of various stretchers that rescue workers use by analyzing muscle fatigue degree associated with lifting a patient. The experiment was conducted with working male and female rescue crews. Having mixed groups of gender complete tasks such as lifting, moving, and unloading a patient using four different types of stretcher, we recorded each muscle fatigue degree in the shoulder and lower back regions of each subject. The data showed, in terms of muscle activity, differences within each group of genders and its combinations were significant in certain muscle groups depending on the types of stretcher used and body sizes of each subject, and, when it comes to Elerctor Spenae, the female subjects used more muscular strength than the males did. In regards to the muscle fatigue degree, there was no significant difference found within each group of the genders, body sizes, and their combinations. However, in the case of applying different models of stretcher, there were significantly differences in the fatigue degree.

This study researched the relationship between the element of "Favorable and Friendly" emotion on product design and the consumer's reaction to it. The emotional elements used here were proposed in the existing study. The research method was divided into 1st test and 2nd test. In the 1st test result, Favorable was related to "want to own, simple, new product and high-class", and also connected with "digital product, gaming product and computers". The products related to Friendly had association with the items about "interesting, cute, familiar, warmth and soft", and also connected with "simple product (toylike, household items, etc), low-price product, product which likes a friend, soft product, kitchen product and beauty treatments product, and so on". In the 2nd test, the preference of emotional product was high than general product, and it was known from the evaluation about design preference and design elements. If the preference was high following the order as: "Formativeness> Trend> Aesthetics> Color", the difference among the scores were small. And then the result about the relationship of emotional design factor "Favorable & Friendly" and evaluation of design preference & design elements was extraction.

Human natural killer (NK) cells are major players in innate immune response. The functions of these cells as a scavenger of cancer cells are enhanced by cytokines such as interleukin-2 (IL-2), which play an important role in immune response in both tumors and virally infected cells. Liver cancer has a high incidence rate and is a major cause of death in Korea. We provide evidence that human NK cells inhibit tumor growth of the hepatocellular carcinoma cell line SNU-354. NK cells were cultured with human IL-2 for 14 days, yielding an enriched NK cell population containing 35% CD8+ cells, 6% CD4+ cells, and 51% CD16+ /CD56+ cells. Intravenous injection of NK cells at doses from 2.5 to 10 million cells/mouse was administered once per week in a nude mouse model that retains human liver tumor induced by implantation of SNU-354 cells. The results showed that human NK cells were recruited within tumor tissue and inhibited SNU-354 tumor growth by 32%, 58%, and 65%. The current data suggest the potential for use of NK cell-based immunotherapy for treatment of human liver cancer.

SERPINB3 (also known Squamous cell carcinoma antigen 1, SCCA1) is involved in apoptosis, immune response, cell migration and invasiveness of cells. It has been investigated in various types of squamous cell carcinoma. Therefore we investigated the functional role of SERPINB3 gene in human epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) using laying hens, the most relevant animal model. In 136 laying hens, EOC was found in 10 (7.4%). We compared the expression and localization of SERPINB3 using RT-PCR, quantitative RT-PCR, in situ hybridization and immunohistochemistry, and SERPINB3 activation was detected in chicken and human ovarian cancer cell lines using immunofluorescence microscopy. Thereafter, we examined the prognostic value of SERPINB3 expression in patients with EOC by multivariate linear logistic regression and Cox’ proportional hazard analyses. In present study, SERPINB3 mRNA was induced in cancerous ovaries (p< 0.01), and it was only expressed in the glandular epithelium(GE) of cancerous ovaries of laying hens. SERPINB3 protein was localized predominantly to the nucleus of glandular epithelium in cancerous ovaries of laying hens, and it was abundant in the nucleus of both chicken and human ovarian cancer cell lines. In 109 human patients with EOC, 15 (13.8%), 66 (60.6%) and 28 (25.7%) of those patients showed weak, moderate and strong expression of SERPINB3 protein, respectively. Strong expression of SERPINB3 protein was a prognostic factor for platinum resistance (adjusted OR, 5.94; 95% Confidence Limits, 1.21-29.15). Therefore SERPINB3 may play an important role in ovarian carcinogenesis and be a novel biomarker for predicting platinum resistance and a poor prognosis for survival in patients with EOC. The near explosion of attention given to graphene has attracted many to its research field. As new studies and findings about graphene synthesis, properties, electronic quality control, and possible applications simultaneous burgeon in the scientific community, it is quite hard to grasp the breadth of graphene history. At this stage, graphene's many fascinating qualities have been amply reported and its potential for various electronic applications are increasing, pulling in ever more newcomers to the field of graphene. Thus it has become important as a community to have an equal understanding of how this material was discovered, why it is stirring up the scientific community and what sort of progress has been made and for what purposes. Since the first discovery, the hype has expediently led to near accomplishment of industrial-sized production of graphene. This review covers the progress and development of synthesis and transfer techniques with an emphasis on the most recent technique of chemical vapor deposition, and explores the potential applications of graphene that are made possible with the improved synthesis and transfer.

본 논문은 예이츠와 히니 시를 갈등과 그것에 대한 해결이라는 관점으로 읽고 분석해 그 두 시인이 경험했던 갈등과 그 해결법에서 공통점과 차이점을 고찰한다. 그런데 그들의 갈등은, 예이츠의 경우에는 그가 1920년대 현대 아일랜드 초기 독립을 위해 싸웠던 시기 그가 앵글로 아이리쉬였다는 점에서 주로 파생되었고, 히니는 1960-70년대의 북아일랜드 사태 때 영국령에 살았던 카톨릭 아일랜드 인이란 점에서 주로 기원한다. 그런데 그들 자신의 갈등을 풀어 가는 해결법에서 두 시인은 모두 아일랜드인의 영혼의 중심인 “이시나흐”를 추구했다는 공통점이 발견된다.

In all living organisms, respiration may lead to oxidative stress, a state where increased formation of reactive oxygen species overwhelms host protection and subsequently induces DNA damage, lipid peroxidation, and protein denaturation. As a phenolic acid, chlorogenic acid occurs ubiquitously in food. It has been proven to have a number of biological effects in vitro and in vivo, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and anticarcinogenic properties. Therefore, to some extent, chlorogenic acid can promote human health, and hopefully provide new methods for treatment of chronic disease. Recent studies have focused on the antioxidant properties of dietary polyphenols. The in vitro data often conflict with results obtained from in vivo studies on the antioxidant capacity of plasma or the resistance of plasma and lipoproteins to oxidation ex vivo after consumption of polyphenol-rich foods by human subjects. These inconsistencies are likely explained by the limited bioavailability of dietary polyphenols and their extensive metabolism in humans. Polyphenols exert multifaceted actions, and any clinical application using these substances should be based on a precise understanding of the physiologically relevant mechanisms.

The emulsion and micro-encapsuled formulation from three essential oils, cassia, thyme white and lemon grass were tested for their insecticidal activities against Lycoriella ingenua (Dufour) adults at 0.3% concentration. As a result, the micro-encapsules than emulsion formulation was confirmed to show greater activity. Based on this result, insecticidal activities at several levels of concentration were examined, resulting in more than 80% insecticidal activity after 30 minutes at 0.6% level of cassia formulation. And also, insecticidal activity of three oil-based micro-encapsuled formulations lasted for up to 12 hours at 0.9% concentration. The main ingredients derived from three essential oils were evaluated on the insecticidal activity against Lycoriella ingenua. As a result, in case of thymol from thyme white, it showed more than 80% mortality after over 30 minutes at 0.25%, and in cinnamic aldehyde and citral, exhibited 88% and 82% mortality after 30 minutes at the 0.5% level, respectively. These three compounds were examined for whether the insecticidal activity was maintained depending on being over time. In case of thymol, it maintained good insecticidal activity against Lycoriella ingenua at 0.5% level until 120 hours, while cinnamic aldehyde and citral showed lower activity after 12 hours.

Sepsis is a clinical syndrome defined as a systemic inflammatory response to infection. Eritoran is a synthetic lipid A derivative that competes with lipopolysaccharide in binding to the identical site of myeloid differentiation-2/toll-like receptor 4 complex. Eritoran is effective in decreasing the septic mortality of Gram-negative bacteria-infected animals. Eritoran has been highlighted as a candidate drug for treatment of endotoxemia in phase I clinical studies with healthy human volunteers. A phase II trial of eritoran has been conducted in patients with severe sepsis. Intravenous infusion of eritoran reduced the mortality rate, as compared with the placebo group, in sepsis patients at a high risk of mortality according to acute physiology and chronic health evaluation-II scores. A phase III study of eritoran was completed in 2011. The results appear to be disappointing as no statistically significant difference in all-cause mortality was observed between the eritoran treatment group and the placebo group on day 28 in sepsis patients with a high risk of death. In this review, we focus on the rationale for the use of eritoran in treatment of sepsis as well as its clinical applications.

We present a deep CCD imaging in B and V bands which allows us to analyze the vertical structure of NGC 4631. We derive the scale heights of the thin and thick disks at a variety of positions along the major axis of the disk. The scale heights of the thin disk are nearly constant while those of the thick disk tend to increase with increasing galactocentric distance. The mean scale heights of the thin disk derived from B and V images are similar to each other (~ 450 pc). Instead, those of the thick disk show a strong east-west asymmetry which is caused by the diffuse stellar emission that is most prominent in the north west regions above the disk plane. The ratio of scale heights (z_thick/zthin) is about 2.5 in the east side of the disk. However, this ratio is greater than 4 for the thick disk above the disk plane in the west side of the galaxy.

This study was carried out to investigate characteristic pattern of fruiting body of Ganoderma lucidum and their antioxidant activity. Mycelia of all strains were firstly inoculated into potato dextrose agar(PDA) and then transfered to a media of saw dust which contained 20% rice bran. These mycelia of saw dust were then inoculated into oak tree in polyethylene bags which has been sterilized for 8h at 120℃. The polyethylene bags were sent to a growth room for growth of fruit bodies. Antioxidant activities of each fruiting body were investigated by DPPH method.

The Trichoderma disease, commonly referred to as green mold, has been previously considered as a problem in mushroom production, because it typically occurred in association with low-quality compost or poor hygiene. We studied growth of Trichoderma spp. (Trichoderma aggressivum, Trichoderma atroviride, Trichoderma harzianum, Trichoderma koningii, Trichoderma viride) is under the control of environment factors ; 15℃ - 35 ℃ of incubation temperature, pH 3 - pH 11 of medium and 55% - 75% moisture content of rice straw medium. At the temperature of incubation, Trichoderma spp. had the highest growth rate at 25 ℃ and had no growth at 35 ℃. At the pH of medium, Trichoderma spp. had the highest growth rate at pH 5 and had the lowest growth rate at pH 11. In the Moisture content of rice straw medium, Trichoderma spp. had the highest growth at 75% moisture content and had the lowest growth rate at 55% moisture content.
