저가형 TiO2 광촉매의 개발과 광촉매의 활용범위를 확대하고자, 석탄회를 지지체로 이용하여 TiO2 광촉매를 제조하였다. 석탄회 표면에 TiO2 입자의 피복은 침전법에 의해서 수행되었다. TiO2의 공급원으로는 TiCl4수용액과 침전제로는 NH4HCO3가 사용되었다. 이들의 중화반응에 의해 석탄회 표면에 생성되는 Ti(OH)44는 300~700˚C의 열처리 과정에서 산화되었다. 여기서 생성된 TiO2의 결정구조는 anatase형을 나타내었다. 피복 TiO2의 결정립 크기는 열처리 온도의 상승에 따라 증가하였으나, NO가스의 제거능은 감소하는 경향을 보였다. TiO2피복 석탄회를 300~400˚C의 온도 범위에서 2시간 동안 열처리할 경우, TiO2의 결정립 크기는 약 9nm이었고, 질소산화물 제거율은 85~92%이었다. 또한, TiO2피복 석탄회의 백색도는 TiO2의 피복량이 증가할수록 열처리 온도가 증가할수록 상승하는 경향을 나타내었다.

전자산업 폐기물의 산침출 용액으로부터 전해채취법에 의해 Au와 Pd를 선택적으로 회수하기 위하여, 염산수용액 중에서 Au와 Pd의 전기화학적 거동을 voltammetry방법에 의해 조사하였다. Au단독 전해욕에서 Au의 환원전위는 약 800mV이었고 환원한계전류는 약 470mV에서 나타났으며, Pd 단독 전해욕에서 Pd의 환원전위는 약 500mV이었고 환원한계전류는 약 150mV에서 나타났다. 그러나, Au-Pd혼합 전해용액에서, Au의 환원전위 및 환원한계전위 값은 전해욕 중 Pd의 농도가 증가함에 따라 감소하였고, Au와 Pd의 환원한계전위 값은 Au-Pd 전해욕 중 Pd 전해용액의 함유량이 30vo1%일 때 가장 가까운 값을 나타내었다

Acetylcholinesterase(AChE) is an enzyme which hydrolyses acetylcholine into choline and acetate. Glucose and Adenosine-5'-Triphosphate(ATP) are the primary energy source for the brain and therefore defects in glucose metabolism and the mitochondrial system can affect cognitive function. The fact that the level of acetylcholine(ACh), neurotransmitter, glucose and ATP, are found to be decreased in the brain of Alzheimer patients has lead us to focus on the inhibition of AChE for the developmental research of the Alzheimer's disease(AD) treatment. In this paper we describe the effects of herbal medicine 9908(滌痰化瘀湯加減) in vitro and in vivo. As herb 9908 concentraion increased, the Vmax values of AChE from Electric eel were decreased, which showed that the activity of AChE in vitro was decreased. Also herb 9908 inhibit AChE activity in vivo. When herb 9908 was orally administrated to rats, amount of glucose and ATP which are energy source in metabolism, increase in brain and blood of rats. These result are also interesting in their effects for AD treatment compare with comercial drugs such as Cognex and Aricept. Furthermore, when considering the toxic problems of the Cognex and the Aricept, these oriental medicines could be very valuable medicine for treatment of AD. 고정원으로부터 배출되는 질소산화물의 저감 기술 중에서 선택적 촉매 환원법(SCR법)은 가장 경제적이고 효율적인 방법으로 알려져 있다. 이 SCR 촉매의 탈질능을 향상시키기 위하여, TiOSO4 및 Ti(SO4)2용액으로부터 비표면적이 넓은 TiO2의 비표면적 및 결정구조에 미치는 영향과 이들의 상관관계에 대하여 조사하였다. TiOSO4용액으로부터 합성한 TiO2의 최대 비표면적은 382m2/g이었고, Ti(SO4)2용액으로부터 합성한 TiO2의 최대 비표면적은 335m2/g이었으며, TiO2는 비정질 형태의 결정구조를 보였다. 하소처리에 의해 비정질 TiO2는 결정화되었고, 결정 중에 함유되어 있는 불순물은 TiO2의 결정화를 억제하였다.
