        Odorous compounds emitted from the melting process for material recycling of plastic have an effect on the sensory annoyance to the nearby residents. The objective of this study was to investigate emission characteristics of malodor in the domestic plastic recycling plants. The olfactometric results showed that the odor concentration among the surveyed plants were significantly different, depending on the melting temperature and material sources. The higher melting temperature led to the higher odor concentration. In particular, as for a plant where melting temperature was 320℃, the odor concentration exceeded 100,000 dilution ratio. However, as the temperature was reduced, the odor emission decreased gradually. This result indicates that reduction of the melting temperature is effective measure to decrease the emission of odor compounds. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of odorous compounds showed that regulatory odor substances such as sulfur compounds, aldehydes and VOCs were found with high concentration in the exhausted gases. Liquid tar in the exhausted gases makes it difficult to remove odorous compounds with traditional odor control devices. In order to eliminate both odorous compounds and liquid tar effectively, a combustion method is strongly recommended in these plants.

        To produce alloy powders with only SmFe single phase by reduction-diffusion (R-D) method, the effect of excess samarium oxide on the preparation of Sm-Fe alloy powder during R-D heat treatment was studied. The quantity of samarium oxide was varied from 5% to 50% whereas iron and calcium were taken 0% and 200% in excess of chemical equivalent, respectively. The pellet type mixture of samarium, iron powders and calcium granulars was subjected to heat treatment at 1100 for 5 hours. The R-D treated pellet was moved into deionized water and agitated to separate Sm-Fe alloy powders. After washing them in deionized water several times, the powders were washed with acetic acid to remove the undesired reaction products such as CaO. By these washing and acid cleaning treatment, only 0.03 wt% calcium remained in Sm-Fe alloy powders. It was also confirmed that the content of unreacted -Fe in SmFe matrix gradually decreased as the percentage of samarium oxide is increased. However, there was no significant change above 40% excess samarium oxide.

And the mean score of farmer's information needs on agricultural information were higher than that of theoretical mean. relatively high items were new seed information, technology of cultivation, pesticide purchase and prevention, laborer finding, consumer information, the trend of leaf vegetables price, marketing place, government's agricultural policy and laws etc.To make farmers get information easily, we recommend to gather information at one place and provide them on internet portal site composed with information related for paddy rice farmers. To make desirable information service system, farmers should bring up their internet searching ability, and agricultural extension officers in count/city have to make effort to provide useful information more often by various communication methods such as visiting farmers, using internet or e-mail service, pamphlet, and so on.

        The compaction response of nano powders with an addition of Ti powders prepared by magnetic pulsed compaction and subsequent sintering processes was investigated. All kinds of different bulk exhibited an average shrinkage of about 12% for different MPCed pressure and sintering temperature, which were approximately 50% lower than those fabricated by general process (20%) and a maximum density of around 92.7% was obtained for 0.8GPa MPCed pressure and sintering temperature. The addition of Ti powder induced an increase in the formability and hardness of the sintered . But the lower densities were obtained on sintering with addition of over 10 (wt%) Ti powder due to generation of crack during sintering. Subsequently it was verified that the optimum compaction pressure in MPC and sintering temperature were 0.8GPa and , respectively

        쇠고기의 저장 중 발생되는 부패취를 특수 관능기법인 R-index를 적용하여 부패취 검지분석을 하고, Pseudomonas의 증식과 비교분석 하였다. 패널에게 사전훈련을 통하여 signal reference(37oC, 48시간 동안 저장한 쇠고기)과 noise reference(-2oC, 저장 시간이 없는 신선한 쇠고기)를 구별이 가능하도록 하였다. Stimuli samples(저장 온도 및 시간 별 쇠고기)와 noise reference를 같이 제공하여 부패취 발생 여부의 확신도에 따라 4가지 구간(signal sure(S), signal unsure(S?), noise unsure(N?), noise sure(N))으로 평가하게 하도록 하였다. 상온인 25oC 저장과 냉장 온도인 5oC의 두 가지 시료 모두 저장 시간이 증가함에 따라 R-index가 증가하였다. 25oC의 경우 저장 36시간까지 급격한 변화를 보이다가 36시간 이후 완만한 변화를 보였으며, 5oC는 전구간 매우 완만하게 점차적으로 변화하였다. 패널 개인별 Rindex가 유의수준 α=0.05 및 α=0.01에서의 경계점을 넘는 시점인 부패취 발생 검지시간을 구하였다. 부패취 발생 검지시간은 α=0.05의 경우 25oC에서 30.92±3.47시간, 5oC에서 169.80±11.27시간, α=0.01의 경우는 25oC에서 34.80±4.01시간, 5oC에서 176.41±9.89시간으로 산출되었다. 부패취가 발생되었다고 검지된 저장 시간의 Pesudomonas의 수는 저장 온도별 차이가 있었고, 부패하였다고 판단되는 6-7 log CFU/g에 근접한 수치였다. 이는 미생물이 쇠고기의 부패취 발생의 기여도는 있지만, 그 밖에 유통환경의 오염, 지방의 산패, 내인성 효소 등의 요인도 부패취 발생에 기여한다는 것을 시사한다.

        주5일 근무제가 확대되어 국민의 여가시간이 증가되고 소득수준이 향상됨에 따라 해양레저스포츠에 대한 국민들의 관심이 높아가고 있다. 지자체들도 전시회, 국제요트대회 등을 경쟁적으로 개최하고 대규모 투자를 추진하고 있다. 그러나 우리나라는 선진국의 수요패턴과 달리 수요가 크게 늘어나지 않고 있다. 그동안 해양레저스포츠의 활성화를 위하여 스포츠관점에서는 많은 연구가 이루어졌으나 산업적 관점에서 산업환경 요인에 대한 연구는 미미한 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 해양레저스포츠산업에 영향을 미치는 경제적, 사회적 환경 등 환경요인을 고찰한다. 이를 위해 해양레저스포츠산업을 둘러싸고 있는 산업환경 요인을 해양레저스포츠산업의 주요성장 지표인 인구 천명당 레저보트(요트 모타보트) 보유척수와의 상관관계로 분석하였다. 마지막으로 선진국과의 해양레저스포츠산업 환경요인을 비교분석하여 우리나라 해양레저스포츠산업의 발전을 위한 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

        This article presents the successful consolidation of the mixed Co and Diamond powders for a drilling segment by the combined application of magnetic pulsed compaction (MPC) and subsequent sintering, and their properties were analyzed. Homogeneous hardness (Hv 220) and density (97%) of sintered bulks fabricated by MPC were obtained by the new technique, where higher pressure has been employed for short period of time than that of general process. A fine microstructure and homogeneous hardness in the consolidated bulk were observed without cracks. Relatively higher drilling speed of 9.61 cm/min and life time of 6.55 m were found to the MPCed specimens, whereas the value of the specimens fabricated by general process was 11.71 cm/min and 7.96 m, respectively. A substantial improvement of mechanical properties of segment was achieved through this study.

        In this research, fine-structure TiO2 bulks were fabricated in a combined application of magnetic pulsed compaction (MPC) and subsequent sintering and their densification behavior was investigated. The obtained density of TiO2 bulk prepared via the combined processes increased as the MPC pressure increased from 0.3 to 0.7 GPa. Relatively higher density (88%) in the MPCed specimen at 0.7 GPa was attributed to the decrease of the inter-particle distance of the pre-compacted component. High pressure and rapid compaction using magnetic pulsed compaction reduced the shrinkage rate (about 10% in this case) of the sintered bulks compared to general processing (about 20%). The mixing conditions of PVA, water, and TiO2 nano powder for the compaction of TiO2 nano powder did not affect the density and shrinkage of the sintered bulks due to the high pressure of the MPC.
