This study was conducted to investigate the flora of Sonjukdo Island (Yeosu-si), Korea. From results of four field surveys from April 2023 to October 2023, we identified 483 total taxa, representing 440 species, seven subspecies, 35 varieties, and one hybrid. They were placed in 322 genera and 109 families, including 249 taxa newly recorded in this study. Among them, four taxa were endemic to Korea, four taxa were IUCN red list plants, and 22 taxa were climate sensitive indicator plants. Floristic target plants amounted to 99 taxa, including two taxa of grade IV, 41 taxa of grade III, 10 taxa of grade II, and 46 taxa of grade I. A total of 54 taxa of alien plants were identified, with a Naturalized Index of 11.2% and an Urbanization Index of 13.8%. Three plants disturbed the ecosystem. The flora of this surveyed area belongs to the south-coast province among floral provinces of the Korean Peninsula. Our results provide basic data on vascular plants flora, plant species diversity, and distributional changes.

This study was carried out to elucidate the distribution of vascular plants and their usefulness of Mt. Janggunbong (1,136 m) in Bonghwa-gun, Gyeoungsangbuk-do. The vascular plants, collected 15 times from 2006 to 2015, consisted a total of 462 taxa; 82 families, 279 genera, 397 species, 2 subspecies, 55 varieties, 8 forms. 10 taxa of the Korean endemic plants were recorded and 1 taxon of Critically Endangered Species (CR), 5 taxa of Vulnerable Species (VU) and 7 taxa of Least Concerned Species (LC), categorized by the Korean Forest Service as rare plants, were investigated in this region. Furthermore, Ⅳ, Ⅲ degrees of floristic regional indicator plants, designated by the Korean Ministry of Environment, were included 8 taxa and 14 taxa, respectively. Based on the usefulness, edible, pasturing, medicinal, ornamental, timber, stain, industrial, fiber and unknown usefulness plants included 352 taxa, 107 taxa, 71 taxa, 18 taxa, 8 taxa, 5 taxa, 3 taxa, 2 taxa and 111 taxa, respectively. In addition, 28 taxa of naturalized plants were observed.

This study was carried out to elucidate the distribution of vascular plants and their usefulness of Mt. Cheongnyangsan (870 m) in Gyeongsangbuk-do. The vascular plants that were collected 16 times 2006 and 2014 consisted a total of 614 taxa; 97 families, 330 genera, 541 species, 3 subspecies, 61 varieties and 9 forms. For the Korean endemic plants, 21 taxa were recorded and 8 taxa of Vulnerable Species (VU) and 5 taxa of Least Concerned species (LC) categorized by the Korean Forest Service as rare plants were investigated in this region. Furthermore, Ⅴ, Ⅳ, Ⅲ degrees of floristic regional indicator plants designated by the Korean Ministry of Environment included 2 taxa, 10 taxa and 18 taxa, respectively. Moreover, four species of distributional interesting plants, Aconitum austro-koreense Koidz., Allium spirale Willd., Dipsacus japonicus Miq. and Pinellia tripartita (Blume) Schott, in Mt. Cheongnyangsan were discovered by this study. Among them, edible, pasturing, medicinal, ornamental, timber, dye, fiber and unknown usefulness plants included 234 taxa, 213 taxa, 174 taxa, 62 taxa, 16 taxa, 12 taxa, 11 taxa and 167 taxa, respectively. In addition, 32 taxa of naturalized plants were observed.

본 연구는 경상남도 지역에서 이용되는 민속식물을 파악하기 위하여 2009년 3월부터 11월까지 수행되었다. 17개시(광역시) 군지역의 52개소에서 주민 60명을 대상으로 수집한 조사야장 293장의 설문조사를 분석한 결과, 경상남도 지역에서 파악되고 수집된 민속식물은 총 73과 157속 168종 2아종 11변종 1품종의 총 182분류군으로 정리되었다. 식용 129종류, 약용 41종류, 염료 3종류, 향료 2종류, 향신료 2종류, 관상용 2종류, 섬유 6종류, 유지 2종류, 기타 25 종류로서 식용으로의 이용 빈도가 가장 높았으며, 이용 부위로는 잎, 전체, 열매, 뿌리 순으로 나타났다.

본 연구는 강원도 남부지역에서 이용되는 민속식물을 파악하기 위하여 2010년 3월부터 10월까지 수행되었다. 9개시 군지역의 32개소에서 주민 83명을 대상으로 수집한 조사야장 1,103장의 설문조사를 분석한 결과, 강원도 남부지역에서 파악되고 수집된 민속식물은 총 92과 222속 274종 2아종 29변종 6품종의 총 311분류군으로 정리되었다. 용도별 이용은 식용 227종류, 약용 174종류, 관상용 14종류, 유지 5종류, 향신료 5종류, 염료 4종류, 섬유 1종류, 향료 1종류, 연료 1종류, 기타 32종류로서 식용으로의 이용 빈도가 가장 높았으며, 이용 부위로는 잎, 뿌리, 열매, 줄기 순으로 나타났다. 연령별 표준식물명과 지방명의 일치성은 50대에서 가장 높았으며, 80대에서 가장 낮았다.

본 연구는 경북 내륙지역에서 이용되는 민속식물을 파악하기 위하여 2009년 3월부터 11월까지 수행되었다. 17개 시 군지역의 85개소에서 주민 126명을 대상으로 수집한 조사야장 582장의 설문조사를 분석한 결과, 경상북도 내륙지역에서 파악되고 수집된 민속식물은 총 76과 207속 225종 2아종 26변종 1품종의 총 254분류군으로 정리되었다. 용도별 이용은 식용 216종류, 약용 82종류, 염료 30종류, 향료 3종류, 향신료 4종류, 관상용 4종류, 섬유 1종류, 유지 2종류, 전분 1종류, 연료 5종류, 기타 9종류로서 식용으로의 이용 빈도가 가장 높았으며, 이용 부위로는 잎, 줄기, 뿌리 순으로 나타났다. 영양군과 청송군의 종가집 민속식물 이용현황을 알아본 결과, 3군데의 종가집에서 총 42종류가 파악되었으며, 연령별 표준식물명과 지방명의 일치성은 50대에서 가장 높았으며, 80대에서 가장 낮았다.

본 연구는 경북 안동시 갈라산(해발 596.2 m, 북위 36˚29'396"~36˚29'356", 동경 128˚43'841"~128˚45'799")의 관속식물 분포를 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 2006년 4월부터 2009년 8월까지 총 13회에 걸쳐 채집된 관속식물은 총 92과 273속 365종 2아종 47변종 10품종의 총 424종류로 정리되었으며, 이들을 유용성에 따라 구분하면 식용 239종류, 약용 291종류, 공업용 109종류, 관상용 135종류, 용도가 밝혀지지 않은 식물 24종이었다. 특기할 만한 식물로는 한국특산식물이 9종류, 환경부지정 법적 보호식물 II급이 2종류, 식물구계학적 특정식물이 III등급 7종류, IV등급 1종류, V등급 2종류, 희귀식물 중 멸종위기종이 1분류군, 위기종이 3분류군, 취약종이 2분류군, 귀화식물이 23종류로 나타났다.

본 연구는 강원 평창군 박지산(해발 1,394 m, 북위 36˚35'068"~36˚34'713"N, 동경 128˚36'245"~128˚36'252")의 관속식물 분포를 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 2008년 4월 부터 2008년 10월까지 총 7회에 걸쳐 채집된 관속식물은 총 95과 304속 439종 4아종 53변종 6품종의 502종류로 정리되었으며, 이들을 유용성에 따라 구분하면 식용 248종류, 약용 263종류, 공업용 98종류, 관상용 138종류, 용도가 밝혀지지 않은 식물 98종이었다. 특기할 만한 식물로는 한국특산식물이 13종류, 환경부지정 법적 보호식물 II급이 2종류, 식물구계학적 특정식물이 III등급 22종류, IV등급 13종류, V등급 6종류, 희귀식물 중 멸종위기종이 2분류군, 위기종이 4분류군, 취약종이 7분류군, 귀화식물이 18종류로 나타났다.

본 연구는 경북 영양군 포도산(해발 748m, 북위 36˚ 31' 79.1''~36˚ 30' 16.8'', 동경 129˚ 12' 43.8''~129˚ 14' 07.1'')의 관속식물 분포와 유용성을 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 2007년 5월부터 2007년 9월까지 총 5회에 걸쳐 채집된 관속식물은 총 88과 267속 384종 4아종 43변종 6품종의 437종류로 정리되었으며, 이들을 유용성에 따라 구분하면 식용 211종류, 약용 229종류, 공업용 85종류, 관상용 71종류, 용도가 밝혀지지 않은 식물 105종 류이었다. 특기할 만한 식물로는 한국특산식물이 9종류, 식물구계학적 특정식물이 III등급 13종류, IV등급 4종류, 귀화식물이 17종류로서 귀화율은 3.9%, 도시화지수는 6.3%로 나타났다.

본 연구는 경북 문경시 공덕산(해발 913m, 북위 36˚ 46' 37.5''~36˚ 43' 61.0'', 동경 128˚ 15' 00.3''~128˚ 17' 57.9'')의 관속식물 분포와 유용성을 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 2007년 5월부터 2007년 9월까지 총 5회에 걸쳐 채집된 관속식물은 총 86과 279속 374종 4아종 44변종 7품종의 총 429종류로 정리되었으며, 이들을 유용성에 따라 구분하면 식용 233종류, 약용 297종류, 공업용 113종류, 관상용 111종류, 용도가 밝혀지지 않은 식물 43종이었다. 특기할 만한 식물로는 한국특산식물이 5종류, 환경부지정 법적 보호식물이 1종류, 식물구계학적 특정식물이 III등급 5종류, IV등급 1종류, V등급 1종류, 귀화식물이 15종류로서 귀화율은 3.5%, 도시화지수는 5.5%로 나타났다.
