        This study aims to investigate protein consumption market trends in Korea. Protein consumption was divided according to the protein source into meat, fishery, and plant-based protein. To accomplish the goal of this study, food purchase data from 525 households panels collected by the Rural Development Administration over the last 10 years were used. The results of the study showed an increase or decrease in protein consumption by protein type over the last 10 years, and a reason to explain this change has been suggested. Specifically, this study found a dramatic increase in the consumption of several proteins, including beef sirloin, beef tenderloin, seasoned beef & steak, pork belly, pork shoulder, pork neck, seasoned pork, pork cutlet, sweet and sour pork, canned ham, chicken drumstick, chicken breast, dak gangjeong, Chinese fried chili chicken, salmon, eel, abalone, squid, octopus, webfoot octopus, octopus minor, canned whelk, tofu, cold bean soup,and plant-based milk. Some items showed no increase in consumption (such as beef jerky, pork rib, sausage, bacon, whole raw chicken, cutlass fish, oyster, fish cake, crab stick, surimi sausage,and canned fishery), whereas a few items showed decreased consumption (e.g., mackerel, pollack, cod,and canned tuna)

First, Do we need agro-fishery products distribution channel using media? Second, After establishing of Agriculture and Fisheries special channel, how many demands will occur? Third, Should we make Agriculture and Fisheries special channel public channel? Fourth, What would be profit model of Agriculture and Fisheries special channel?

        This study proposes development strategies for domestic e-commerce of agricultural products. So far, it grows quantitatively so fast, but because of lack of continuous management, it does not work properly. Previous studies have some outcome for vitalization of e-commerce, but they have limits that they neglect rapid changes of e-commerce circulation structures and practical problems farmers go through when they sell their products. This study deals with these problems more than previous. The first phase of this study analyzes two cases of overseas successful and failure e-commerce sites of agricultural products, for example, Wine.com and Webvan.com. The second phase analyzes As-Is and distribution structure of domestic e-commerce of agricultural products. Finally this study asserts three strategies for domestic e-commerce of agricultural products based on Web 2.0 environment.

        Web usability for e-commerce sites becomes a more important issue as e-commerce gains its popularity. As for agricultural products, consumers are especially sensitive to the quality of information during transaction process. Successful e-commerce sites of agricultural products, such as Wine.com and Tesco, identified regular usability testing as part of key success factors. This paper aims to identify processes for evaluating usability for e-commerce sites of agricultural products and provide strategies to improve usability. The study aims to evaluate e-commerce usability of selected e-commerce sites using heuristic evaluation to provide objective e-commerce sites usability analysis for each transaction process.

        This study examines empirically the characteristics of agricultural corporations in terms of their market and technology environment and the efficiency of the governmental support to the firms. Also the study analyzes the moderating effect of the environmental characteristics on the relationship between governmental supports and firm performance based on the concept of balanced performance. Test results show that firm tend to evaluate favorably their technology and market competitiveness of product quality and price and to require tools for reaction to changes of customer needs and technology or competing products and external corporation that is necessary for long-term technological competitiveness. As for governmental support, strategic support and service is much more appreciated than direct individual supporting item. Agricultural corporations with unfavorable market environment evaluate relatively high on their balanced performance. Correlations of balanced performance factors and technology environmental factors show all positive statistical significance. The moderating effect of the environmental characteristics on the relationship between governmental support and balanced performance can be interpreted that the support is provided without considering environmental aspect and based only on financial performance and as a result not to be satisfied by agricultural corporations with technological competitiveness.
