        As the Photovoltaic system market increases, various technologies are emerging to improve system operation efficiency. Such additional systems of the power generation system are generally referred to as ‘Balance of System’, for example a panel cooling, a panel cleaning and a panel angle adjusting apparatus. In this paper, we discuss an algorithm to calculate the target temperature of cooling in response to changes in the installation environment conditions of the power generation system so that the efficiency improvement rate target set by the user can be achieved with respect to the control method of the cooling water injection system among various panel cooling apparatuses. In order to calculate the target temperature of cooling, the output enhancement coefficient is calculated experimentally based on the temperature change according to the solar radiation condition of the PV panel, and the required reduction temperature of each irradiation condition is calculated considering the efficiency improvement rate. In addition, the efficiency improvement ratio is calculated considering the installation condition of the general power generation system without a separate control group. The thermal performance coefficient of the PV panel test body for calculating the expected temperature of the PV panel is calculated experimentally. The target temperature of cooling is calculated as the sum of the expected temperature of the PV panel and the required reduction temperature, and the injection system that tracks the target temperature by cooling water injection is constructed and compared with the power generation improvement rate and the user setting efficiency improvement rate.

        In this study, the shake table test of the damaged reinforced concrete frame was carried out and the damage and dynamic response characteristics were evaluated. The static lateral-cyclic test for the specimen was followed by the dynamic test. As a result of the shake table test, damage was concentrated on existing cracks and the maximum inter-story drift ratio was calculated as 1.94% at the final excitation step.

        In this study, the 1-directional tension tests were conducted to evaluate ductility capacity of splice rebar. As a result, the ductility of the reinforced concrete members embedded in the coupler was significantly lower than that of general RC members.

        In this study, the 3 point bending tests were conducted to evaluate ductility capacity of splice rebar. As a result, the difference in ductility between RC members embedded in the coupler and general RC members was not significant. For more accurate analysis, 4 point bending tests are considered to be necessary.

        In the both overlap connection and connection with tapered threaded splices of seismic test results, the good agreement of seismic capacity are shown. Therefore the proposed tapered threaded splices can be applied to the RC structure to replace the overlap connection of rebar.

        In this study, existing wall-type apartment in 1990s is evaluated by KBC2009. Based on structural calculation, seismic performance evaluation is performed with dynamic nonlinear analysis. After that, this building is extended up to three stories in vertical direction. In this study, the seismic performance evaluation results of wall-type apartment can be used in performance-based design of the vertical extension remodeling.

        In this study, the damages detections were carried out using artificial neural networks for super tall building. In the results of detections, the damage locations and extents were similar to the actual damages. The accuracy is expected to increase as the number of learning case is larger.

        With the increase in the frequency of the seismic activity in the territory of Korean Peninsula, the demand for seismic performance evaluation of existing buildings has appeared as well. In this research, a public building built in 1970s is evaluated by the Korea Infrastructure Safety Corporation guideline. As a result, this existing public building is evaluated to satisfy the life safety (LS) and the collapse prevention(CP) performance level that the KBC2009 demands for.

        The purpose of this study is to apply performance-based seismic design guideline to high-rise shear wall building. According to PEER TBI Guideline, the building is evaluated whether it satisfies the performance objectives which is to be capable of elastic response under Service Level shaking having a return period of 43years and to withstand Maximum Considered Earthquake shaking with prevention collapse.

        In the both loading test results and analytical results of specimens with tapered threaded splices, the good agreement of load-carrying capacity are shown. Therefore the proposed model for tapered threaded splices can be applied to the analysis of structure with tapered threaded splices.

        In reinforced concrete structure, rebar connection method should be considered because of its structural role to resist the tensile stress and its structural load transmission with concrete in the concrete structure. Lapped splice and mechanical sleeve type connector have been traditionally used to connect rebar in the concrete structures. In this study, to examine the mechanical and failure behaviors of rebar bar connected by taper type coupler in the concrete member depending on connection type and condition, tensile tests of steel rebar with taper type coupler and flexible loading tests of concrete beams were conducted. Its tensile strength and flexible strength of the rebar connected by taper type coupler were compared and evaluated by mechanical behaviors of rebar. From this study, steel rebar connected by taper type coupler showed it has similar mechanical performance comparing with unconnected rebar, thus taper type coupler can be used in the rebar fabrication of reinforced concrete structure.

        구조물에 최적화된 센서 배열(Sensor Array)을 수행하는 것은 센서 네트워크 설계에서 중요한 요소이다. 그러나 센서의 설치와 관리는 구조물이 처해 있는 환경이나, 경제성 그리고 센서의 주파수대역의 제한과 같은 다양한 원인으로 인해 매우 어려울 수 있다. 이 논문에서는 일반적인 문제와 환경에서 현재 사용되고 있는 물리적 센서 대용으로 가상 시각 센서(VVS: Virtual Visual Sensor)를 제안하였다. 가상 시각 센서는 설치가 간편하고 경제적이며 관리가 편하다는 큰 장점을 가지고 있다. 이러한 가상 시각 센서의 기본적인 아이디어는 최첨단 컴퓨터 시각 알고리즘과 마커 추출 기법의 적용으로 이루어진다. 이 연구에서는 가상 시각 센서를 이용하여 모드 형태와 주파수를 추출하는데 용이하다는 점을 보여주며 이를 구조물 건전성 모니터링에 적용할 경우 효율적이라는 점을 입증하였다.

        Mechanical splice sleeve has bee used to join the reinforcement rebar for transmitting stress effectively and guaranteeing mechanical performance of the reinforcement rebar which has been segmentally made. In this study, tensile strength of the embedded reinforcement rebar joined by splice sleeve were examined to evaluate the mechanical behavior and effect on tensile strength of the rebar joined by splice sleeve in the concrete member depending on rebar joining condition.

        In this study, the flexural test were carried out on a total eighteen reinforced concrete beams with different steel connection. From the results, reinforced concrete of not spliced showed higher ultimate loads and cracking loads than other specimens. Also the ultimate load of reinforced of parallel(tapered) threaded coupler is almost equal to that of lap spliced.

        The purpose of this study was to offer the opportunity of contact with the nature to elementary school student by the creative educational space. We proposed educational space considering of the effects of environmental education, which transform plan into the system of nature image and effective space to ecological education space. The elementary school space is designed to be flexible in accommodating different time and events. It should be expected thin this design as following points: It will be improved environmental quality in elementary school, changed into the sustainable and environment-friendly green school as well. It will be energetic school as a living space for rest and ecological education. it will be improved the image of school and opened to the public. Through the elementary school space created by this plan, elementary school student will have more opportunity of contact with the nature.
