        Painting system are widely used to prevent corrosion damage The coating method on various corrosion preventive method was usually adopted for the functional ability and excellent appearance. In this study, to evaluate the deterioration curve of coating system for steel bridge, the combined cyclic corrosion test was conducted base on ISO 20340. The deterioration areas were measured depending on corrosion cycle. The deteriorations of newly-built coating were compared with those of re-coating.

        This study investigates the coating deterioration of water-borne inorganic zine under marine environment. In order to evaluate the corrosion environment at installed site, the corrosion currents were measured by atmospheric corrosion monitoring(ACM) sensor. The deterioration grade of water-borne inorganic zine was investigated by visual inspection method depending on ASTM D610. The deterioration grade of structural member was compared based on corrosion environment such as wet time, amount of deposited salt etc.

        In this study, compressive tests were carried out on seamless circular tubular short columns with corrosion-damaged end, and investigated change in compressive strength of columns with local corrosion at the end. Local corrosion was artificially introduced by milling machine, and differed in corrosion depth (0, 1.5, 3, 4.5 mm), corrosion height (0, 20, 60, 120 mm), and corrosion circumference (0, 90, 180, 360˚ ). As a result, the compressive loads were linearly decreased with increasing of corrosion degrees, and a quantitative evaluation for residual compressive strength of seamless circular tubular short column with corrosion-damaged end was suggested by using corroded volume loss ratio.

        대형 용접 구조물에 대한 피로설계 수명의 예측은 일반적으로 Palmgren Miner과 등가손상도 방법 또는 선형누적손상도 방법을 사용한다. 또한 용접 구조물에서 피로 균열이 발생되면 잔존 수명은 S-N 곡선과 선형 파괴역학에 기초하여 예측되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 면외거 셋 용접이음의 3차원 피로균열 진전거동과 피로수명을 예측하기 위하여 피로 시험을 실시하였다. 면외거셋 용접이음의 3차원 피로균열진전 해석은 NX NASTRAN 및 FRANC3D를 이용하여 유한요소 해석을 실시하였다. 면외거셋 용접이음의 균열 형상비, 초기균열 크기 및 응력비에 미치는 영향을 검토하기 위하여 피로균열진전 해석을 실시하였다. 또한 초기균열크기, 균열 형상비와 응력비의 변화에 따른 3차원 피로균열진 전 해석 결과와 피로시험결과를 비교하였다. 피로균열진전 해석결과, 피로균열 진전속도와 응력확대계수와의 관계에서 피로시험과 유사하게 나타남을 확인하였으며, 면외거셋 용접이음의 피로수명을 추정할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

        강교량은 유지관리가 충분히 이루어지지 않거나 , 해안 과 같이 가설위치의 환경이 고온 다습한 경우 단면에 국부적인 부식손상이 발생할 수 있다. 특히 강거더 교량 의 지점부에서는 교대부와 강거더 단부의 공간이 협소하여 상대적으로 습도가 높고 신축이음부로부터의 강 우 및 동결 방지제가 누수되어 침전물을 습윤상태로 유지하게 되므로, 복부판과 지점부 보강재에 집중적으로 부식이 발생되고 있으므로 이로 인한 구조성능 변화를 확인하여야 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 실제 발생할 수 있는 강거더 단부 복부판과 보강재의 국부부식손상을 모사한 강 재 실험체를 제작하고 이에 대한 단부 지압강도 변화를 실험적으로 평가하였다. 실험결과, 국부적 부식손상은 강거더 단부의 지압강도에 영향 을 주며, 특히 수직 보강재에 의한 영향이 크게 나타남을 확인하였다.

        Steel structures have been prevented from corrosion damage using by paint coating. The durability of paint coating can be changed by installed environment condition of steel structures. In this study, thus, deterioration test of paint coating was conducted for various environmental condition. Deterioration levels of paint coating specimens exposed by each artificial environment were examined from visual inspection.

        Interest and requirement of seismic qualification for nonstructural components are increasing in South Korea after observing nonstructural component failures by Kyungju earthquake on 12, October, 2016. However, amplification of input motion by hight of building are not considered in most of seismic qualification or design for nonstructural components in South Korea. In this study, seismic loads are compared which is applied to seismic qualification or design for structural or nonstructural component. As a result, amplification effect by vertical location in a building for nonstructural component should be considered for efficient seismic qualifications. Also, further studies are needed how to apply those amplification effects to required response spectra.

        To ensure the safety of weathering steel structures, it is important to evaluate the time-dependent corrosion behavior. Thus, progress and effect of corrosion damage on weathering steel members should be evaluated, but predicted corrosion depth do not go far enough until now, which is affected by the corrosion environment. In this study, the corrosion resistant of weathering steel was examined to quantifiably investigate and compare the corrosion depth of carbon and weathering steel.

        The β-carotene biofortified transgenic soybean was developed recently through Agrobacterium-mediated transformation using the recombinant PAC (Phytoene synthase-2A-Carotene desaturase) gene in Korean soybean (Glycine max L. cv. Kwangan). GM crops prior to use as food or release into the environment required risk assessments to environment and human health in Korea. Generally, transgenic plants containing a copy of T-DNA were used for stable expression of desirable trait gene in risk assessments. Also, information about integration site of T-DNA can be used to test the hypothesis that the inserted DNA does not trigger production of unintended transgenic proteins, or disrupt plant genes, which may cause the transgenic crop to be harmful. As these reasons, we selected four transgenic soybean lines expressing carotenoid biosynthesis genes with a copy of T-DNA by using Southern blot analysis, and analyzed the integration sites of their T-DNA by using flanking sequence analysis. The results showed that, T-DNA of three transgenic soybean lines (7-1-1-1, 9-1-2, 10-10-1) was inserted within intergenic region of the soybean chromosome, while T-DNA of a transgenic soybean line (10-19-1) located exon region of chromosome 13. This data of integration site and flanking sequences is useful for the biosafety assessment and for the identification of the β-carotene biofortified transgenic soybean.

        Fatigue crack can be a controlling factor in the life of some welding components, such as vertical and horizontal stiffener. In this study, The fatigue tests were carried out on the out-of-plane gusset fillet welded joint. In addition, investigations of three-dimensional fatigue crack propagation of gusset welded joint using the finite element analysis of FEMAP with NX NASTRAN and FRANC3D. The 3D crack growth simulations can be performed to compute stress intensity factor(SIF), which are used to determine crack propagation cycles.

Three-dimensional fatigue crack penetration analysis result was compared with two dimensional fatigue crack penetration analysis result. From the FE analysis results, stress intensity factor(SIF) and crack propagation cycles were evaluated.

        Severe corrosion damage on the deck surface of a orthotropic bridge deck with bulb rib has been reported in Japan. Therefore, in this study, structural behaviors of a orthotropic bridge deck was numerically examined using FE analysis program MARCment2010. Thus, its deck thickness was decreased according to corrosion damage level of the deck. The deformations and the stress distributions of a orthotropic bridge deck with bulb rib were compared and evaluated.

        이 연구는 수업지도성이 학교장의 변혁적 지도성과 학교조직효과성의 관계에 어떠한 매개효과가 있는지를 분석하는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구는 설문지 조사 방법으로 시행되었으며, 표집 대상은 충청북도 11개 지역교육청과 131개 중학교, 그리고 161명의 교사이다. 분석결과는 이론적 검토를 통하여 구안된 연구모형은 적합한 것으로 판단할 수 있으며, 학교장의 변혁적 지도성, 수업지도성, 학교조직효과성 간에는 상호 통계적으로 유의미한 관계가 있다는 점이 밝혀졌다. 특히 학교장의 변혁적 지도성은 수업지도성과 학교조직효과성에 직접적인 영향을 미치며, 학교장의 수업지도성은 학교조직효과성에 직접효과가 있는 것으로 나타나고 있다. 또한 수업지도성은 학교조직효과성에 대한 학교장의 변혁적 지도성의 영향에 매개효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.
